It is hidden deep in a desolate forest on the outskirts of the city, and would be difficult to find without precise coordinates.

The Shadow Leopard silently slipped into the base, weaving through the darkness and skillfully avoiding the various traps and mechanisms left behind.

"Follow it."

I whispered and entered the base first. The base was in a mess, with scattered instruments and documents everywhere, and a pungent smell of chemicals filled the air.

We proceeded cautiously, with Shadow Leopard leading the way and us following closely behind. After about half an hour, we arrived at a spacious underground hall.

In the center of the hall was a huge metal device that flickered with an eerie red light. Scattered around it were broken containers containing black liquid that emitted a nauseating odor.

"What is this?"

"One of the beast tamers exclaimed in surprise."

Another beast tamer said with a solemn expression. Just then, the Shadow Leopard suddenly let out a low growl, its fur standing on end, and it stared warily at a dark corner deep in the hall.

He was dressed in a long black robe and wore a strange mask that obscured his face, but his exposed eyes gleamed with a cold light.
