A nation's industrial development begins with junior engineers.

Chapter 203 "A Demon Among Demons?" You've Luckily Survived

Something was definitely wrong. The dormitory the officer had prepared for them was clearly far from the crowd. They'd made such a commotion, and yet no one had come to check—that shouldn't be happening!

The teacher's wife alertly pulled out her sidearm, kicked open the door of a dormitory room, and after checking it out, the group quickly entered the room.

"Speak, what is your purpose? How did you get this uniform? Are you a spy or a mole?"

"I'm moving those things away now, but try not to shout!"

Xiong San pulled out a four-edged military dagger from somewhere, leaned it against the officer's ribs, and stared with eyes as wide as copper bells.

The teacher's wife turned off the room lights and lit a candle she carried with her.

The candlelight flickered, and as Xiong San removed the heating pack from the officer's mouth, the officer coughed twice.

"Hey, wait a minute. Why does this person look so familiar?" Xiong Da suddenly exclaimed in surprise.

"Wow, really. I saw him not long ago, I think he was a pilot from some unit? He visited our factory!" Xiong Er raised the candle and brought it close to the officer's face.

He affirmed, "That's right, I remember now. He led the team that picked up the batch of six Dongfeng-103 aircraft!"

"Your surname is Pang! I even toasted you twice! I never expected you to betray the government!"

"Bah! You are the traitors, you are the executioners! Everyone from Factory 112 should be shot!"

The lieutenant became instantly excited upon hearing the name Dongfeng 103.

"We're risking our lives in the sky, and you're just sending us garbage to fly?"

Huh? The three big bears looked at each other in confusion. Li Changfu felt that there was more to the story, so he asked his master's wife to pull the guy up.

"Tell me, what's going on?"

"Nothing much, I just wanted to beat these guys up! What kind of crap did they make?"

"Boss, you know what? Right now, all I want to do is stuff these three guys into the 103mm machine gun, but don't worry about them dying, because that damn machine gun can't even fire!"

As the lieutenant recounted his story, Li Changfu understood what he meant: there was no betrayal, no enemy, only the burning anger of the frontline commanders and soldiers.

Come to think of it, they excitedly brought the plane back to their "chicken coop" unit, just as they were about to begin acclimatization flight training.

As a result, one of the engines of the 103 aircraft fell off while taxiing on the ground. Fortunately, it only turned the runway into a fire, and the pilot escaped unharmed. (True story)

Another plane had just taken off when the entire cockpit instrument panel detached, crushing the pilot's toe. After the emergency return to base, the medics were astonished, saying it was the first time they had ever seen a pilot with a broken toe.

The remaining three were free-range aircraft; after they took off from Factory 112 and landed at the "chicken coop," their engines never started again.

As the lieutenant spoke, the three bears lowered their heads further and further, wishing they could disappear into a crack in the ground.

And then there's the car, which is this lieutenant's vehicle.

“Mine is pretty good; it can fly and even go supersonic.” Hearing this, the three bears raised their heads.

"But your cannon button is fake! The machine gun doesn't fire at all!"

"The ultimate monster (RF-101, not the Blackbird), it's right in front of me, less than 800 meters away! I, I..."

The officer was still bound and unable to move. In a fit of anger, he slammed his head against the table in front of him.

"I'm so frustrated!"

After the officer slammed the object down, he didn't lift his head; he just trembled all over, making a sound similar to slurping noodles.

"You... if you told me your plane could go any faster, I'd do anything to crash it down, but I can't catch it! Waaaaah!"

"Nonsense! The machine gun is an independent system, how could it not fire! I'll accept any other problems with the aircraft, but I've tested the machine guns on every single one of them, how could this be!"

Xiong Er tugged at his collar, looking indignant.

The lieutenant raised his head, ignoring the large bump on his forehead, and bared his teeth at Xiong Er, "You won't admit it, huh!"

"Boss, I have a screwdriver in my bag, could you please get it for me?"

Li Changfu helped the young man untie himself, saying, "Take it yourself. Taking it out will make these stubborn guys give up!"

"Sir, aren't you worried that I might be a spy?"

"I'd be more than happy if you were, and you'd hurry up and give those three guys a good thrashing, so I wouldn't have to see them and get annoyed."

The lieutenant shook his hand, not reaching for his bag, but instead looking at his instructor's wife: "Big sister, your grappling skills are really impressive. I feel you're even better than the instructor who came to the team to share his experience last time. I could go toe-to-toe with that instructor, but with your moves, I didn't even have the strength to fight back."

The master's wife also put away her gun and nodded upon hearing this: "Oh, you're from that company, right? I remember my junior sister stayed with you for a while. But are you sure you can go toe-to-toe with her?"

The lieutenant blushed, not daring to respond, and began rummaging through his bag.

"That's it, stuck on the machine gun's firing mechanism. After we got it off the machine gun, our maintenance crew followed the blueprints step by step and finally found it."

"Heh, a screwdriver? Where can't you find one? Didn't your ground crew put it in there?" Xiong Er looked at the several stamps on the screwdriver, and the inconspicuous numbers 112 caught his eye.

Silence is often the best way to ease an awkward situation.

Of course, this does not include the present.

Now, Xiong Da to Xiong San are squatting in the corner one by one, and Li Changfu has turned on his berserk mode again.

Especially the stubborn Xiong Er received the most attention.

The lieutenant looked at the three Xiong brothers with some concern: "Sir, maybe you shouldn't kick them anymore. They're all so old."

The mistress poured the officer a glass of water: "Never mind them. It's you who's so foolish as to cause this mess..."

"Eh, I couldn't help myself, could I? We finally caught that demon's tail..."

"Also, this dormitory really is for pilots. I didn't have any other ulterior motives. It's a rule in the team that pilots' dormitories have to be a certain distance from the airport to avoid being wiped out in one fell swoop."

"There are fewer people because most of my comrades have moved to another location. I don't have a car, so I was left behind. But the military police are still there, so I'll go and turn myself in now."

The officer poured the hot water down his throat as if it were a death sentence.

He then bowed to the group and said, "Comrades, I'm sorry. But I don't regret it!" After saying that, he turned and left.

"Come back!" Xiong Da stood up and shouted at the officer.

"Sir? Are you going to fight back?" The lieutenant stood ramrod straight. "Come on, I won't fight back!"

"Did you draw stars on the plane, you little rascal?"

The lieutenant choked: "It should have been there."

"Then consider it a debt I owe you. Give me a year, and I'll let you redraw this star, how about that?"

"You mean?"

"Yeah, stop messing around. He's just a greenhorn. We can have another match another time."

If the cannon still doesn't fire next time, I'll shove that thing back in for you!

Xiong Da pointed to Xiong Er, who was still pondering how the screwdriver got into the machine gun.

After thinking for a while, Xiong Er, who suddenly felt the surroundings quiet down, raised his head.

"Ok?"
