In all his tens of thousands of years, Luan Hao had never been treated like this. Even when he was imprisoned in the Desolate Realm, the people of the Underworld dared not neglect him in the slightest. Yet here he was, treated like this by a mere vampire.

However, after gaining his freedom, he didn't immediately go to find Qiu Pi. Instead, he lingered beside the mass of demonic energy. He stood still, muttering incantations, absorbing the demonic energy that seemed to come from nowhere.

Huangfu Aohan immediately became furious, thinking that if he hadn't not fully recovered, he wouldn't necessarily have lost to Luan Hao, let alone Luan Hao in his current state, even if Luan Hao had recovered to his peak state.

After another ten minutes or so, the demonic energy gradually shrank. Only when it was completely gone did Luan Hao stretch his body with satisfaction.

"What is that?" Xu Ruwen looked at the small object that appeared in the air after the demonic energy disappeared. "It looks... a lot like those stones in Wan'er's hands..."

Xu Ruwen said he had nothing left to complain about regarding how they always managed to obtain these pebbles in various ways during missions.

Luan Hao stretched out his long arm, and his slender fingers grasped the small stone, holding it up to his eyes for a closer look. It was indeed identical to the stones Geng Miaowan had obtained previously.

He clearly remembered the power drawn out by the stone inside Lu Shuaishuai's body in the last mission space. This stone had attracted so much demonic energy again. Even though he used to look down on this insignificant little stone, he now realized it was no ordinary stone.

Thinking this, he tossed the stone to Xu Ruwen, saying, "Keep it safe!"

Without a word, Xu Ruwen reached out and caught the stone, stuffing it into his pocket. He knew, of course, what Luan Hao meant—he was going to give it to Geng Miaowan. "What do we do now?"

"I'm going to find Miao Wan. You guys clean this place up." Luan Hao said, his shimmering purple eyes sweeping lightly over Peng Yuxian, who had been standing there like a wooden statue, before turning away without lingering for a moment. "You'd better keep your little schemes to yourself."

It was just a simple, unassuming sentence. Yet, it made Peng Yuxian feel as if he were in an ice cellar, a chill penetrating to his very core. A slight coldness ran down his spine, and he was filled with doubt and unease. Had the man just seen through his intentions? But he hadn't done anything yet…

After Luan Hao finished speaking, he left on his own, leaving behind a bewildered Xu Ruwen, a scheming Peng Yuxian, and a somewhat confused Huangfu Aohan.

"What does he mean by that?" Xu Ruwen asked Peng Yuxian, or perhaps he was talking to himself. Peng Yuxian shook his head, indicating that he was innocent.

Xu Ruwen thought for a while but still couldn't figure out what Luan Hao meant. Although it sounded like it was directed at Peng Yuxian, he hadn't noticed anything wrong with Peng Yuxian in his interactions with him.

Since he couldn't figure it out, he gave up. However, he knew that Luan Hao wasn't the type to speak without reason, so he reminded himself to be careful and not fall into his trap.

"So... what do we do now?" Peng Yuxian glanced cautiously at Xu Ruwen, and seeing that he didn't seem suspicious, he couldn't help but feel relieved.

"Destroy everything that needs to be destroyed," Xu Ruwen said calmly, his eyes scanning back and forth in the laboratory. "You know these things better, so go find and destroy all the relevant research materials. I'll handle the rest."

It was Peng Yuxian who initially approached them because he didn't want to see any humans harmed by the things Qiu Pi was researching. He wanted them to help him find Qiu Pi's secret laboratory, and now it couldn't be better to have Peng Yuxian do it.

Peng Yuxian nodded and turned to search in the laboratory.

Xu Ruwen left the laboratory and walked outside. Huangfu Aohan, realizing he couldn't do anything for them in his current state, found a spot to lie down and pretend to sleep, while also keeping an eye on Peng Yuxian. He thought his idea was quite good.

Xu Ruwen was startled by what he saw as soon as he stepped out of Laboratory 1. The entire laboratory looked as if it had been swept away by a super typhoon.

Various utensils lay on the ground in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and the researchers in white coats also fainted on the ground in all sorts of bizarre positions, with documents and papers flying everywhere.

It seemed that Luan Hao, having absorbed enough demonic energy, was like a machine equipped with the most powerful engine, so powerful that no one could stop him, at least not these people. He felt that there was nothing more for him to do here, so he focused on his path to find Geng Miaowan.

Using his connection with Geng Miaowan, he quickly found her. She was lying next to a large flower, and not far from her, Luan Hao was exchanging hands with Qiu Pi in an open space.
