Lin Yue couldn't help but laugh out loud: "Wow! That's great! Where are you guys now?"

"We've entered Z City! We'll be almost at your apartment complex entrance soon."

Lin Yue hung up the phone and excitedly ran around the room. She quickly tidied herself up and then eagerly went downstairs to wait.

A short while later, Lin Mu's car arrived downstairs. Yun Xiling, sitting in the passenger seat, immediately spotted Lin Yue standing at the door and excitedly waved to her.

Lin Yue nimbly climbed into the car, plopped down in the back seat, and leaned forward to chat excitedly with Yun Xiling.

"Sister, I don't even know where you live. What kind of people are Uncle and Aunt? I'm a little nervous, what should I do?" Lin Yue fired off a series of questions like a machine gun.

Yun Xiling smiled and replied, "My parents live in the neighboring city of Y, not far away. They are very nice people, so you don't need to worry at all. Besides, the one who should really be nervous is your brother!"

Upon hearing Yun Xiling's words, Lin Mu, who was focused on driving, suddenly trembled. Lin Yue, sitting in the back seat, keenly noticed this and teased with a mischievous smile, "Brother, are you very nervous meeting the parents?"

Lin Mu pretended to be nonchalant and continued driving, stubbornly saying, "I'm not nervous at all! What haven't I been through? This little thing is nothing!"

However, Lin Yue was somewhat surprised because Lin Mu's reaction didn't match what he had said. At this moment, Yun Xiling mercilessly exposed him: "Don't listen to your brother's nonsense, he's just faking it. You can't see it from the back, but his palms are actually sweating!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Yue chuckled to herself. She took out her phone, secretly snapped a picture of Lin Mu's hands gripping the steering wheel, and then handed the photo to him.

"Haha, bro, look at your hands! And you say you're not nervous!"

Lin Mu smiled awkwardly, "Okay, okay, I won't pretend anymore. But little sister, don't say anything out of line when we get there."

Laughter filled the air as they drove. Amidst the chatter, the car pulled into a residential area. Finally, it stopped in front of a small villa.

Yun Xiling smiled and took Lin Yue's hand. "Let's go in." Lin Mu followed behind, carrying the gifts, his heart growing increasingly uneasy.

The three arrived at the door, and Yun Xiling rang the doorbell. The door opened quickly, and a middle-aged man appeared. He was tall, with a refined air, and a gentle smile on his face.

"Dad, we're back!" Yun Xiling shouted happily.

"Oh, Xiling's back!" Yun's father said warmly. Then he saw the two people behind her: "These two must be Xiaolin and Xiaoyue, welcome, welcome!"

"Hello, Uncle!" Lin Mu and Lin Yue greeted politely.

"Alright, alright, come in quickly!" Father Yun beckoned everyone into the house.

As they entered the living room, a woman wearing an apron came out of the kitchen with a friendly smile. Lin Mu and Lin Yue quickly greeted her, "Hello, Auntie!" The woman smiled and replied, "Hello, please come and sit down. The food will be ready soon." Then she turned and went back into the kitchen.

Yun Xiling pulled Lin Yue to sit on the sofa and chatted, while Lin Mu placed the gifts he had brought aside and stood somewhat awkwardly to the side. At this moment, Yun's father came over and patted Lin Mu on the shoulder, "Don't stand there, come and sit down." Lin Mu then sat down. Yun's father was very curious about his daughter's boyfriend. His daughter often praised him and had told him that Lin Mu only had one younger sister and no parents. He didn't have any requirements regarding family background, but he still wanted to see what kind of person he was.

Lin Mu sat nervously on the sofa, his hands clenching unconsciously. Yun's father smiled at him and asked, "Xiao Mu, I heard from Xi Ling that you two have been dating for a while?" Lin Mu nodded quickly, "Yes, Uncle." Yun's father continued, "So how is your relationship now?" Lin Mu glanced at Yun Xi Ling and replied with a smile, "We're doing very well, Uncle." Yun's father nodded in satisfaction. He then asked about Lin Mu's work and family situation, which Lin Mu answered sincerely and politely. A hint of appreciation flashed in Yun's father's eyes.

After chatting for a while, Yun's father noticed Lin Mu's trembling hands. Understanding the situation, he stood up and said, "Alright, you young people can chat amongst yourselves. I'll go help in the kitchen." With that, he went into the kitchen. Lin Mu breathed a sigh of relief, turned to look at Yun Xiling, and the two smiled at each other.

Lin Yue looked around the room curiously, occasionally exchanging a few words with Yun Xiling in hushed tones, and the atmosphere gradually became more harmonious.

Suddenly, a door opened, and a boy wearing glasses walked out. He was clearly taken aback when he saw his sister and two strangers in the living room. "Sis, who are these two?" the boy asked, looking at Lin Mu and Lin Yue with a puzzled expression.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you. This is my younger brother, Yun Yi." Yun Xiling stood up and introduced, "This is my boyfriend, Lin Mu, and this is his sister, Lin Yue."

"Hello. I was doing my homework in my room and didn't come out right away, sorry." Yun Yi greeted them apologetically.

Lin Mu smiled and extended his hand to Yun Yi. "Hello, Yun Yi, it's a pleasure to meet you." Yun Yi looked at his hand with some caution.

Seeing this, Lin Mu turned around, took out a limited edition figurine from his bag, and handed it to Yun Yi: "A little gift."

Yun Yi immediately smiled happily. He grasped Lin Mu's hand and smiled, "I'm also very happy to meet you, brother-in-law. I've heard my sister talk about you every day before, and now I've finally met you in person!" Hearing the title "brother-in-law," Lin Mu scratched his head a little embarrassedly, while Lin Yue covered her mouth and chuckled.

"Don't call me that, we're not married yet." Yun Xiling gently tapped Yun Yi's head.

Yun Yi noticed a girl beside his brother-in-law and looked over curiously. He was surprised to find the girl very pretty and couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for her. He couldn't help but ask Lin Mu, "And who is this?"

Lin Mu smiled slightly, a hint of doting in his eyes, and replied, "This is my younger sister, Lin Yue."

Upon hearing her brother's introduction, Lin Yue smiled politely and extended her hand to greet Yun Yi: "Hello, little brother Yun."

Yun Yi was a little shy, and a wave of embarrassment welled up in his heart when he faced such a beautiful girl. He carefully reached out and gently grasped the tip of Lin Yue's hand, then quickly lowered it.

Lin Yue looked at Yun Yi with curiosity and asked, "Little brother, what grade are you in this year?" Yun Yi scratched his head a little shyly and replied bashfully, "I'll be in my third year of junior high when school starts in September. What about you, sister?" Lin Yue smiled and replied, "I'll be in my second year of high school when school starts, so I'm a little older than you."

"I see." Yun Yi nodded in sudden understanding, a slight smile appearing on his lips. Then, he turned his gaze to Lin Mu beside him and asked curiously, "Brother-in-law, do you usually like playing games?" Compared to the restraint and tension when talking to women, communication with men felt much more relaxed and comfortable.
