Become a Knight Across the World
Chapter 34 Gap
"Knights, something terrible has happened! Another Kuuga has appeared right in front of the police station! Godai is no match for him! Knights, go and provide support immediately!"
Everyone was shocked to hear this news.
"What? How could this be?" Lin Mu was shocked. He did not expect Liu Hongyun to be so crazy as to dare to openly appear in front of the police station.
"What exactly is this guy trying to do?" Zhuang Changwu frowned, feeling that things were getting a bit tricky.
"Everyone, get to the city center as fast as you can!" Upon receiving the message, everyone realized the urgency of the situation and that they had to take immediate action.
The crowd was alarmed and quickly summoned their motorcycles, ready to set off. However, not all riders owned motorcycles; those without had to hitch a ride with other riders.
"Hopefully we can make it in time," Zhuang Changwu said anxiously. He deeply regretted his earlier underestimation of the enemy and only hoped that there would be no casualties before they arrived at the scene.
...
At this moment, the prison van in front of the police station was already badly damaged, kicking up clouds of dust. Sora was lying on the ground, seriously injured, while the prisoners inside the van had long been melted away by the aftershocks, leaving not even ashes!
Another Kuuga's attack was a full-force strike, far beyond what Kuuga, who had only activated his All-Powerful Ascension, could withstand. Although he arrived in time, he was still sent flying by the force!
As the dust gradually dissipated, the Otherworldly Void Self stood quietly in place. At this moment, within the Otherworldly Void Self's consciousness space, Liu Hongyun felt a strong sense of drowsiness wash over him, as if he might fall into a deep sleep at any moment.
"I'm so sleepy right now... I might never wake up again after this sleep," he murmured to himself.
Another Kuuga remained silent, seemingly lost in thought.
“I have no regrets... Actually, I know... Last night, while I was asleep, you used my body to take my daughter to the hospital again... I know everything…”
“I won’t take care of her after you die. How can you bear to leave such a young child alone in the countryside? You’re not a qualified father at all. I’m only doing this to lighten my own burden,” Another Kuuga coldly replied.
“Yes, I really… am not a good father,” Liu Hongyun said, filled with remorse. “I feel increasingly sleepy… This way of dying… without any pain… isn’t so bad…” His voice trailed off.
"Sleep peacefully... Your death is valuable to me. I am finally about to regain my full power!" the alien said, but Liu Hongyun did not respond.
"Sigh!" Another Kuuga sighed.
...
As the dust settled, the onlookers were finally able to see the full scene inside. The alien being, Kuuga, stood there, revealing his grotesque muscles and veins. A cruel smile played on his face, sending chills down their spines.
Kuuga struggled to his feet, his body swaying slightly, but he managed to stand. His face was pale, clearly indicating that the battle had taken a toll on him.
As for the police officers surrounding the prison van, they had already been thrown into the air by the blast wave and crashed heavily to the ground. Their clothes were tattered, and their faces were covered in dust and blood, but fortunately, they were not seriously injured.
However, the most surprising thing was that the prisoner who should have been in the prison van had disappeared.
"Where is the murderer?" someone couldn't help but ask.
"With such a huge blast wave, and being right at the epicenter of the explosion, there shouldn't even be any dust left, right?" another person guessed.
"Even though this ugly monster killed someone, I feel like he was actually enjoying killing that murderer, why is that?" someone muttered to themselves.
“I think so too!” another person chimed in.
Everyone was talking about it. Perhaps it was Kuuga's behavior that satisfied the crowd, and people gradually became bolder.
Just then, Another Kuuga suddenly turned around and faced the crowd. His terrifying face sent chills down everyone's spines; people didn't even have time to react. Another Kuuga opened his mouth and spat out a missile, which hurtled towards an abandoned building not far away.
The missile struck its target precisely, instantly blasting away a section of the wall. The debris fell to the ground, and a deafening explosion echoed throughout the area, billowing smoke and dust that blotted out the sun. The crowd was terrified; some collapsed to the ground in fear, while others screamed and fled in all directions.
"Help! Run!" "Don't step on me!" At this moment, everyone finally felt real fear. They realized that the destructive power of the Otherworldly Void was so great, so they scattered and fled for their lives.
Godai witnessed everything that was happening before his eyes, his heart filled with anger and helplessness. He knew he couldn't let Another Kuuga continue to wreak havoc; he had to stop him as soon as possible.
He forced himself to stand, enduring the pain, but was quickly knocked down again by Another Kuuga's missile. Kuuga struggled to his feet, his eyes resolute and determined. He knew he had to face this powerful enemy and protect the innocent.
"Hehehe, Kuuga, you're at your last gasp!" Another Kuuga let out a low laugh. Instead of chasing after the fleeing people, it slowly walked towards Godai step by step.
Kuuga struggled to his feet, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth with trembling hands. He then clenched his fists again, preparing to attack Another Kuuga. Despite his extreme exhaustion, he stood there resolutely, his eyes gleaming with unyielding spirit.
Another Kuuga saw Kuuga stand up again, a contemptuous smile on his face: "Kuuga, do you still want to struggle? I have recovered my full strength, while you—you can barely stand up now, how could you possibly defeat me? Give up, you have already lost." After saying that, Another Kuuga raised his foot and took a step towards Kuuga.
Kuuga took a deep breath, mustered all his strength, and swung his fist at Another Kuuga. However, his fist had lost its former power, becoming weak and powerless, and it did almost no damage to Another Kuuga. Another Kuuga easily dodged the attack, then reached out and grabbed Kuuga's wrist, twisting it forcefully and throwing him to the ground.
"You're so disobedient!"
Kuuga scrambled to his feet again, staggering as he charged at Another Kuuga. Another Kuuga scoffed at Kuuga's disheveled state, then stepped forward to meet Kuuga's fist. Kuuga's fist struck Another Kuuga's chest, but he felt no pain whatsoever, instead laughing and saying, "Kuuga, your fist is as soft as cotton. You're just wasting your time."
Another Kuuga punched Kuuga hard in the stomach. Kuuga felt a sharp pain, his body arched involuntarily, and he collapsed forward to the ground. Another Kuuga walked triumphantly to Kuuga's side, looking down at him, and mocked, "Kuuga, you are a loser, a pathetic wretch. Your existence only makes this world more chaotic and dark."
As Another Kuuga spoke, he raised his foot and stomped heavily on Kuuga's back. Kuuga cried out in pain as Another Kuuga mercilessly trampled on his body, as if trying to crush him completely. Another Kuuga, his voice full of provocation, continued, "You're too weak. My side of justice is so weak. What a disgrace, Kamen Rider Kuuga!"
Another Kuuga looked at the agonizing Kuuga beneath its feet, and a surge of intense pleasure welled up within it. It reveled in this moment of victory, feeling Kuuga's despair and helplessness. Another Kuuga knew that if it delivered just one more fatal blow, Kuuga's life would be over.
"Goodbye, Kamen Rider Kuuga!" Another Kuuga's voice echoed in the air, as if announcing the end of a tragedy. Purple runes appeared beneath his feet, shimmering with an evil light. He raised his foot high, preparing to deliver the final blow to Kuuga.
Kuuga lay on the ground, his body covered in wounds, utterly exhausted. He couldn't even turn over, and could only watch helplessly as Another Kuuga approached step by step. His eyes were filled with despair and helplessness, as if he had already accepted his fate.
Looking at the runes beneath Another Kuuga's feet, Kuuga slowly closed his eyes. He quietly awaited death.
however…
