"For our survival, they must sacrifice their lives!" Yongye said arrogantly, as if those who died were merely insignificant ants.

"Heh, what a bunch of arrogant and conceited fellows. Do you guys even deserve the title of king?!" Li Kai sneered and questioned in a deep voice.

"You're courting death! How dare you question me! Do you know that the king's identity is ordained by destiny and cannot be desecrated!" Provoked, Yongye angrily stretched out his palm, and dark flames burned in his hand.

"Did I hit a nerve? What a pathetic bunch!" Li Kai smiled slightly, ignoring the flames coming his way.

"I'll ask you one last time: join us, and I'll forgive your rudeness!"

“I refuse! To be alive means to be permitted, to be allowed to exist here now, and no one has the right to deprive another of the right to exist here.”

"Then I'll just have to let you die!" Yongye hurled a sword made of black flames at Li Kai.

"You? You think you can do it!" A disdainful smile appeared on Li Kai's lips. He was invincible now!

"Break!" A violent whirlwind gathered wildly as Li Kai's arms moved rapidly, and in the blink of an eye, his fist was enveloped by the rolling air currents.

"Boom!" The storm, as long as a dragon, instantly tore apart the sword made of black flames, and finally roared towards the eternal night.

"A terrifying ability. I'm very curious how you did it?" Yongye calmly reached out and crushed the long dragon in front of him, asking curiously.

“This is the limitless potential of humankind,” Li Kai said, pointing to his brain. “The human brain is called the forbidden zone of God. Judging from your confused look, you probably don’t know that! Looks like you still need to learn more.”

"Ridiculous! The forbidden zone of God, what an arrogant race!" Yongye sneered contemptuously, showing utter disdain for Li Kai's words.

Li Kai tapped his head and said embarrassedly, "The human brain only uses less than one-tenth of its capacity; the rest is said to be sealed by God. "So fast!" Yongye exclaimed in surprise, the movements just now were beyond the range of his eyes.

"I haven't finished telling you yet. My current brain usage rate is 50%, and it's dozens of me overlapping together!" Li Kai gently snapped his fingers, and a severed finger fell to the ground along with the blood.

"Ahhh!! You bastard, how dare you hurt my body!" Yongye clutched his severed finger in agony, feeling the piercing pain and a deep sense of shame.

"Pfft!" The fiery red arm easily pierced through Yongye's chest, and what he held in his hand was none other than the throbbing heart.

"Shatter!" The incredibly high heat easily evaporated the heart that had left the body.

"No, it's just a heart. That alone won't kill me!"

"I already knew that, you talk too much nonsense!" Li Kai frowned and kicked him aside, but the red light on his body grew stronger and stronger, and his figure began to become unsteady.

"Cough cough!! So that's how it is. Your life force is rapidly draining away. No wonder you possess such formidable power. It's a pity you don't have much time left." "How did you know my current condition?!" Yongye asked in shock, clutching his severed arm as his life rapidly ebbed away.

"Didn't you tell me that?" Li Kai said, tilting his head. "It was you from before."

"A miscalculation! I never thought that my arrogance would ultimately ruin me. If I were in my prime, I would never have lost to someone like you. But alas, there are no 'what ifs' in reality!" Knowing his fate, Yongye straightened his body with all his might. Even if it meant death, he would protect the dignity of the king.

"I ask you, who exactly are you?!" In that final moment, the king asked the young man before him.

"Hehe, I'll grant your last wish. My name is—Humanity!!!" Li Kai straightened his body and answered loudly.

"This journey was worthwhile! Respectable human, I will be waiting for you down below!" Yongye slowly closed his eyes, and a king fell!

"Tch, I'm not going down there to join you!" Li Kai plopped down on the ground, his skin cracking so badly that the veins were clearly visible. "It's always been a case of fathers tricking their sons, but I never thought I'd be tricked by myself in just a few days! Why didn't you explain this clearly?! The cost of brain development is so exorbitant!"

"However, no one can answer Li Kai's complaints anymore."

"But the essence of life? It seems that what I have in my hand is it." Li Kai, lying on the ground, suddenly looked at the severed arm in his hand. The blood-red bead inside was still radiating terrifying energy. It looked like it was edible!

"Boom!" As Li Kai fell unconscious, a terrifying aura suddenly burst forth from his body. Dark, malevolent flames raged across his body, and countless blood-red threads surged outwards, their target the horde of zombies outside the door.

"Roar!!" Faced with the thin threads attacking it, the zombies did not struggle but instead knelt respectfully on the ground, allowing the threads to absorb the energy from their bodies. In a short while, hordes of zombies fell to the ground, becoming shriveled corpses. At the same time, new blood cocoons were slowly forming inside the room.
