"Glug glug!" The chilling sound of swallowing kept reaching Li Kai's ears. He was clearly eating himself, so why did he feel like a bystander?

"Yes, that's right, this must be a dream, and an endless nightmare!" Before dying, Li Kai screamed, "Wake up!!"

"Pfft!" The zombie opened its mouth and bit into his brain, extinguishing his last remaining consciousness.

"Haha!! Haha, what happened to me again?" The boy, drenched in sweat, opened his eyes once more. He suddenly sat up from the floor and quickly scanned his surroundings. It was the same scene, the same sound of impact.

"Damn it! This dream is really weird. I haven't woken up even after three attempts. I'm not going to believe it today!" The young man rushed to the door with a fierce expression and twisted it open.

"Roar?" The zombie that was crashing into something tilted its head and looked at the food that had suddenly appeared. Has this guy gone mad?

"Damn zombie, go ahead and eat me if you dare!!" Li Kai roared as he ran toward the zombie, grabbed its head, and slammed it into his chest.

"Roar?" The zombie's remaining intelligence found this strange behavior even more incomprehensible. Was this some kind of free lunch? No, no, there's no such thing as a free lunch. Mommy told me that you have to put in the effort to get something in return.

"No, if this drags on, who knows how long it will take? Anyway, it's just a dream, so it doesn't really matter." After a fierce struggle, Li Kai steeled his heart and looked at the zombie with deep affection. His gaze was so profound, so fiery, and so devoid of any sense of decency.

"Roar~?" Seemingly sensing his imposing aura, the zombie inexplicably took a step back. The food in front of it was too strange; it was better to stay away from him to avoid being infected. (By the way, you were already infected!)

"Pfft!" A crisp sound echoed in the empty house, and dark red blood flowed onto the ground little by little with the chewing sound. However, the scene was too beautiful and too hard to look at. It was a human eating a zombie. What a disgusting thing!

"Roar!!" Feeling the pain in his neck, the zombie roared angrily. It twisted its neck and bit down on the artery in his neck. Its sharp fangs easily pierced the artery, and sweet blood kept flowing into his mouth.

"Finally, I can wake up!" In his dying moments, Li Kai looked at the zombie that had bitten him to death with gratitude and said, "Thank you!"

"Roar!" The zombie, already devoured by flesh and blood, paid no heed to Li Kai's gratitude. The entire floor was soaked in blood, and the zombie knelt on the dying Li Kai, enjoying himself to the fullest.

"It's so dark here," Li Kai muttered under his breath as he was about to be swallowed by darkness. "They really have time to spare."

"Should he be awake now?" Li Kai rubbed his eyes vigorously until they were red and swollen before stopping.

"Hmm! It seems so now."

"Knock knock!!" Before he could finish speaking, that devilish sound entered his ears once again.

"This is never going to end!" Li Kai shouted angrily, clenching his fists. "Shut up, I'm really annoyed right now!"

After Li Kai said that, the people outside the door actually stopped.

"Huh? So obedient." Looking at the docile zombie, Li Kai suddenly felt a strong impulse. "Since it's a dream, then I can call the shots here."

"Hehe, that's how it is." The eerie laughter from outside the door echoed in the room.

"I'm going to slaughter everyone today! I don't know how long it will take before I wake up, but I might as well take this opportunity to experience the feeling of killing zombies." With that thought, Li Kai no longer harbored any resentment. He arrogantly opened the door, beckoned to the zombie in front of him, and said, "Come on, you little brat!"

"Roar!!" The zombie obediently pounced on it.

"Ugh, it really hurts! Can't this dream alleviate the pain at all? This is worse than being dead." Li Kai woke up again and looked at the door in frustration. His two recent painful experiences had made him afraid to rush over recklessly.
