Chapter 42 Blood Snake

The dean's transformation was bizarre; he bled in a way that resembled a body covered in burst wounds, and the strong stench of blood filled the office as it gushed out.

Yu Shijiu wrinkled his nose in disgust, but his spirits beat even faster under the stimulation of the bloody smell.

He felt a strong urge to kill someone.

Oh no, it's killing ghosts.

But it seems the dean didn't reveal any fatal flaws?

Yu Shijiu remained seated on the sofa, watching as the blood flowing from the dean's wound transformed into blood snakes that rushed towards him. He slowly curled up his legs and huddled on the sofa.

"Don't come any closer."

The fruit knife in Yu Shijiu's hand gleamed coldly under the light. He held the tattered teddy bear, the blade of the knife resting against the bear's neck, and grinned as he said:

"If I slip, its head will fall off."

Players watching this scene on screen: "..."

"What is he doing?"

"Why are you threatening the dean with a teddy bear? Seriously, are you scared out of your wits?"

"...Who would be so terrified that they'd smile like a flower at a monster?! Please, speak normally!"

"How can I understand Yu Shijiu's actions right now?! I really don't get it!"

"..."

Inside the small villa, An Jie and Chen Yi each stared at a live stream, and were somewhat surprised when they caught a glimpse of Yu Shijiu and the dean confronting each other.

Chen Yi wiped the sweat from his brow. He had roughly figured out the situation, but he was still taken aback by Yu Shijiu's audacious threat:

"No, he's just incredibly bold..."

Anjie didn't quite see it, but she vaguely felt that something was wrong:

"What do you mean?"

Although Chen Yi appears somewhat rough and shrewd, he is actually quite perceptive and knows many subtle clues much earlier than An Jie.

"The dean might genuinely like Xue Yan," Chen Yi said, his eyes filled with a complex emotion.

"But Xue Yan might not appreciate it."

Anjie was taken aback.

She looked at the boy on the screen who was choking the teddy bear, and a chill ran through her.

"The margin for error is too low."

Chen Yi nodded and sighed, "That's right, that's why I said Yu Shijiu is too bold."

"It's just liking, it doesn't necessarily mean it can threaten success. Besides, even people find it hard to love everything about someone they like."

Who knows if the dean had disliked Xue Xue for a long time?

-

Inside the office, the moment Yu Shijiu held the teddy bear in front of him, the blood snakes that attacked from all directions truly froze in place.

"Huh?" Yu Shijiu looked at the blood snakes that were stuck in place, his crimson eyes narrowed slightly, and then he smiled and tapped the bear doll's head.

"You seem quite useful."

Yu Shijiu was very satisfied.

Getting physical is also very tiring, okay? He had just finished eating something delicious, and even though his mind was full of crazy thoughts of wanting to kill, he was too lazy to move.

Wait until it's digested before moving around.

Unlike the nurses and cafeteria ladies, even though the dean had become a monster, he still seemed to retain some human characteristics. He stared at the bear doll that Yu Shijiu was blocking in front of him, and his entire monster was trembling with anger.

Give me the doll!

The dean's glasses fell to the ground, his eyes radiating a chilling aura. After he finished speaking, the blood snakes that had been frozen in place began to writhe again.

Yu Shijiu moved quickly. Every time a blood snake got close to him, he would move the fruit knife a little closer, and the approaching blood snakes would shudder backward, making the scene look somewhat comical.

The director, fearing he might actually break the teddy bear, found himself in a difficult position and turned pale with anger.

Give me the doll!

Perhaps he was so angry that he didn't realize he had said the same thing twice.

Yu Shijiu didn't seem to have any objections, but many viewers of the live stream laughed out loud.

This scene looked rather strange, like...

One player uttered a shocking statement: "To hold the emperor hostage and command the feudal lords?"

"..."

Yes, that makes some sense.

Didn't you see that the "Dean of the Feudal Lords" is almost driven mad with anger?

"What's wrong? Come and get it yourself!"

The person who "held the emperor hostage" declared righteously, "It's not that I'm not giving it to you; if you snatch it, it's yours!"

Dean: "..."

He was so angry he was about to go crazy. Just as his anger was rising and he felt like he was being played like a dog, the dean finally couldn't hold back anymore.

He calmed down, his expression turning sinister as he stared at the human threatening him with a broken doll, and let out a cold snort:

"Forget it, it's just a doll. I have plenty of time to buy Xuexue a better doll!"

Having said that, the blood snakes no longer hesitated and quickly twisted their bodies to rush towards Yu Shijiu on the sofa, opening their bloody mouths to try to bite off his flesh.

Yu Shijiu had had enough fun. He raised his scarlet eyes, revealing undisguised madness and insanity, making him look even more like a monster than the dean.

"Perfect timing, I've had enough rest too."

Yu Shijiu smiled as he stuffed the teddy bear into his pocket. The fruit knife twirled nimbly at his fingertips as he slowly stabbed at the vital spot of the attacking blood snakes. The blood snakes hissed sharply and turned into a pool of blood that fell to the ground.

The boy's fingers were long and pale. He ignored the blood snakes that were trying to bite him in insignificant places, and instead killed the ones that were aimed at his fatal parts with precision and speed.

As she moved, Yu Shijiu got off the sofa, blood seeping from the bite wounds on her body, and she still had to keep killing the endless stream of blood snakes.

The dean's face, which had turned pale with anger, gradually calmed down. He looked at Yu Shijiu, who had already been bitten more than a dozen times, and the pent-up anger in his heart finally dissipated.

Humans are nothing but flesh and blood; even if they put up a stubborn resistance now, they are only temporarily delaying their own death.

The dean, having regained his composure, laughed. He casually adjusted his glasses and said with a smile:

"Although Xuexue might be sad for a while after I kill you, humans will go to sanatoriums every now and then,"

The dean's smile became exaggerated, and the blood vessels on his face and body transformed into tiny blood snakes, defiantly resembling their master.

"You are just things we use to spice up our lives or even our food."

The dean said.

really.

Still immersed in the carnage of the blood snakes, Yu Shijiu's lips slowly curled up. When he severed another blood snake as thick as a finger, a bright smile, stained with blood, appeared on his face.

The monsters are aware of the game's existence.

"is it?"

Yu Shijiu's voice remained sweet and gentle. He smiled, seemingly oblivious to the pain of being bitten by the blood snake, and tilted his head as he said:

"Let's make a bet."

The boy's smile was as bright as spring flowers, as if he were saying something completely unrelated to himself:

"I'll bet on whether I'll die here today."

"If you lose, tell me the truth about what happened, okay?"
