Chapter 875 Flowers and Wine

Su Yan and Chesius reminisced in the garden outside the palace, especially about what had happened since she left.

I was quite surprised to learn that a monument had been erected in my honor, but I doubt anyone would care. It's just another statue in the square, something to talk about over tea.

"You say you don't remember what happened before you woke up?" Chesius asked.

Su Yan nodded, "Yes. My last memory is of holding my son... and when I woke up I was here."

“Hmm.” Chesius looked at her. “You’re lucky to have your man.”

"A mixed bag," Su Yan replied with a mischievous smile. "Having a partner like me means we're destined to spend more time apart than together."

"Being together all the time can get boring. It's good to be apart from time to time to keep things fresh." Chesius picked a red rose and removed the thorns from the stem. "It's not a rose, but it's for you."

“It doesn’t matter if it’s a rose. It’s a flower, an elegant and beautiful blessing. Other meanings are just extras.” Su Yan took the rose, smelled its fragrance, and showed heartfelt joy on her face.

“Miss Mirut, His Majesty requests your presence.” Will approached and respectfully invited Su Yan.

Su Yan was taken aback and looked at Chesius, "Your Majesty?"

“It’s His Majesty the Regent,” Chesius said to Will. “May I go with her? She’s my girlfriend.”

"Oh?" Will asked in surprise, looking at the flowers in Su Yan's hand and then at Chesius. "This requires permission."

After Will left, Chesius's face darkened. "You need to be careful. This Azee Bruchney is not simple, and he has a lot of bad romantic entanglements."

"..." Su Yan shrugged and said, "Whether it's simple or complicated, or even if all sorts of bad romances bloom throughout the galaxy, it has nothing to do with me."

Chesius breathed a sigh of relief, but was still somewhat uneasy.

Will soon arrived again and apologized to Chesius, saying, "Your Majesty will only be meeting with Miss Milut this time."

“Alright,” Chesius said to Su Yan, “I’m here.”

"It's nothing," Su Yan said with a smile, then asked Will, "Who brought me here?"

"Your Majesty."

Su Yan said to Chesius, "I'll go see him and ask about the pass while I'm at it."

"Hmm." Chesius's eyes showed concern.

Su Yan followed Will.

"It leads underground!" Su Yan asked curiously. "Why does it go underground?"

“His Majesty is in the wine cellar.” Will pushed open the wooden door. “Miss Milut, please.”

As Su Yan entered, a rich aroma of wine wafted towards her.

“Miss Mirut? Over here.” A magnetic, refined voice rang out.

Su Yan followed the sound and saw a refined-looking man with black hair and silver-rimmed glasses digging a hole with a shovel.

"Your Majesty?"

"Just call me Ya Se, no need to be so formal."

"Then you can just call me Su Yan."

“Alright.” Ya Se put down the shovel, his eyes filled with shame. “I’m sorry, my servant didn’t understand what I meant.”

"It's okay." Su Yan knew he was referring to the small, locked room where she had woken up.

"I have memory problems, and I don't know how you brought me here."

"Really?" Ya Se continued shoveling soil, then suddenly seemed to have dug up something, and his movements became much lighter.

A moment later, a wooden bucket lid appeared. "You were in my car at the time. I had people check, and no one brought you here."

"Could it be a spatial journey to a random location?" Su Yan pondered, perhaps she would know once 003 returned to normal.

“If you want to continue the investigation, I can help you,” Ya Se replied.

Su Yan shook her head, "No need. I'm leaving Abel with my boyfriend Chesius Aslanda. We might need to trouble His Majesty the Regent to make an exception."

“No problem,” Ya Se replied with a smile.

Su Yan watched as he gripped the lid of the barrel with both hands and easily lifted it up, raising a large wooden barrel that could hold at least two hundred catties of wine from the ground.

The date written on it is 11123 in the astrological calendar.

"It feels like it's from a very long time ago," Su Yan said.

"Hmm, it's made from wild grapes. Su Yan, would you like to try some with me?" Ya Se smiled gently.

Su Yan replied, "Thank you, but I'd rather not."

"If you like it, please bring some back to Chesius for me. I'll also sign the pass," Ya Se said with a smile.

Su Yan understood; it seemed she had no choice but to drink the wine.

"Then I shall gladly accept your offer. However, I am not an expert on wine, and I hope I will not spoil the enjoyment."

……

Push aside one wall, and you'll find a very elegant and tasteful wine tasting room.

Ya Se opened the wine barrel, which still smelled of earth, and filled a decanter halfway with the amber-red liquid.

Smelling the rich aroma of the wine, Su Yan asked, "What year is it in the Star Calendar?"

"In the year 14976 of the Abel calendar, this wine has been aged for 3853 years."

"Wine that's nearly four thousand years old! A masterpiece!" Su Yan exclaimed, suddenly realizing that it was indeed worth tasting.

and many more!

3853 years here, that would be hundreds of millions of years in the Beast World!

Su Yan was suddenly stunned, staring at the wine... After a while, she looked at Ya Se and asked, "Did you hide this wine?"

Ya Se nodded. "Yes. I brewed this myself. I only remembered it today when I was going through some old journals."

"..." Su Yan's lips twitched slightly.

Ya Se carefully wiped the dirt off the barrel with a rag. Then she took some empty bottles and began to repackage them.

“I’ll still call you Your Majesty,” Su Yan said, looking at him.

Ya Se put the sealed stopper on the bottle after filling it. "Why?"

"I suddenly feel like you've aged a lot," Su Yan said honestly.

While the beast world has just been born and its civilization is still in its infancy, they are already brewing wine here!

Ya Se chuckled, "Really? How old is Su Yan this year?"

"I won't tell you, age is a woman's secret," Su Yan said with a smile, truly unsure of what to say.

"I'm sorry, I was being presumptuous." Ya Se stuck an instruction manual on the bottle and handed it to Su Yan. "Please give this to Chesius for me."

"Mm." Su Yan put it into her spatial ring.

Ya Se's gaze fell on the spatial rings she wore on her middle and ring fingers. "You're married?"

"No," Su Yan replied. She dared not get married; marrying anyone would only bring her trouble.

Judging from her reaction, it didn't seem like she was lying. Considering that she and Chesius were in a romantic relationship, I asked, "So, are you going to marry Chesius?"

“Chesius?” Su Yan was taken aback, then remembered that she and Chesius had pretended to be a couple and left, and replied, “Possibly.”

"The Aslandar family places great importance on bloodlines. Are you an Outcast?"

“Yes, that’s right,” Su Yan replied.

"how to prove?"

Su Yan transformed into a beast form, a cute little white mouse, and then back into human form. "I am a beastman."

Ya Se adjusted her glasses on the bridge of her nose, the lenses reflecting a faint, ethereal light. "Then there shouldn't be any problems."

"This barrel of wine is a wedding gift for you two." Ya Se sealed the barrel and pushed it toward Su Yan.

Su Yan smiled. "A gentleman does not take what others cherish, but I am a woman, so I should be able to."

He obediently put away the wine barrel.

"Hehe, you're almost sober now." Ya Se poured Su Yan a glass. "Please."

Su Yan took it and took a small sip...

Instantly, her eyes turned into vertical pupils as she stared at Ya Se in shock!

That small sip of wine transformed into an irresistible surge of energy upon entering her mouth. Before she could react, it flowed down her throat, through her bloodstream, and spread throughout her body!
