Adrian stopped abruptly. The door in front of him was tightly shut, and something slammed against it, making a tearing sound.

Upon seeing this, Morris frowned slightly. He took a step forward and turned half of his body to block Adrian's view.

Adrian remained silent, and consciously retreated behind Morris, secretly observing the situation ahead through the gap in the railing beside him.

The door to the hospital examination room was swung open from the inside. The wooden door was hard and silver-painted, and the doorknob was made of a special iron material. When it hit the white ceramic tile, it instantly left a small gray scratch.

"You're utterly shameless! Who are you threatening? You're staying here now, and you're not going back!"

The door was wide open, revealing two gray shadows intertwined on the floor. Adrian shifted his gaze, and the two gray shadows moved twice before a blond-haired, red-eyed insect strode out.

He exuded a palpable aura of malevolence, his face deathly pale. Adrian and the others were only about a meter from the door; the insect nearly collided head-on with Maurice as it emerged.

Morris recognized the insect at a glance; its blond hair and red eyes were characteristic of the current royal prince. He bowed to the male insect and said, "Greetings, Your Highness."

Aran's face was pale. His clothes were disheveled, and his collar was not properly straightened, with a small tear in it.

Seeing Maurice pause, his jaw muscles twitched for a moment before he composed himself and bowed to Maurice, saying, "Commander, there's no need for such formalities."

Adrian stood behind Maurice, and he couldn't help but be surprised to hear the conversation between the two insects. In his previous life, he had almost no contact with Arran. Arran was frail and died young, so Adrian had no chance to get to know him.

I never imagined I'd run into someone here in this lifetime.

Arran noticed Adrian, the powerful lord of Morris, in no time. Arran had also heard of Adrian.

When Adrian saw that Arran had turned his gaze to him, he also wanted to step forward and bow to him.

When Aran saw Adrian's actions, his expression suddenly changed. He looked away and walked past Adrian as if he hadn't seen him at all.

Adrian: "..."

The cold wind that Arran stirred up as he walked by hit Adrian's face.

Adrian stopped in his tracks, his pupils turning to Maurice, who subtly stepped forward and grasped his hand: "My lord, Prince Arran is aloof by nature, and he has always been like this with male insects, so you need not worry about it."

Adrian, of course, didn't care about Arran, who was short-lived. He paused for a moment, withdrew his hand, and said, "It's nothing, let's go see a doctor first."

Seeing this, Maurice took a step back and maintained his distance, following behind Adrian.

The door wasn't closed, and Adrian glanced at the sign on the door before entering. Top Zerg medics always hung their name tags on the upper left corner of the wall by the door; Fabian's name was written entirely in black on a golden triangle.

Adrian confirmed that everything was correct before going inside.

The female insect inside was leaning against the table and chairs. She was tall and slender with short, neat black hair. She was applying medical ice to her cheeks in a way that was unclear.

Adrian walked to the door and politely knocked with his finger: "Is the doctor in? We have an appointment for today's check-up."

"Ah, here." Fabian turned around when he heard the noise. His silver eyes were light in color and his eyelashes were pure white. When he saw Adrian, his eyes curved into a smile. "Is this Lord Adrian? I have been waiting for you for a long time."

Before entering, Adrian secretly sized up Fabian. Fabian was wearing a hospital white coat, and a completely black fountain pen hung on the edge of his shirt pocket, making him look somewhat like a doctor.

Fabian pulled out a chair next to the long table and said, "Your Excellency, please have a seat."

“Doctor, I…” Adrian’s first impression of him was not bad. He was about to start talking about Maurice when he saw Fabian put down the ice pack on his right cheek.

He had fair skin, and a clear red handprint on his right cheek. It was obvious the insect that slapped him had used considerable force; Fabian's right cheek was swollen considerably.

Adrian swallowed the words he was about to say. He glanced at Fabian's right cheek and hesitated, "Doctor, what happened to you?"

Fabian tossed the ice pack aside and said helplessly, "Your Excellency, Prince Arran has always had a terrible temper."

Arran, having spent much of his time in the palace due to illness, was prone to mood swings. However, his disheveled appearance when he went out was likely also related to this doctor.

“Never mind, none of that matters. Sir, are you feeling unwell?” Fabian seemed indifferent as he took the pen hanging from his chest and turned his gaze to Adrian.

“I can help you with anything,” Fabian added, a faint smile playing on his lips as he stared intently at Adrian, his silver eyes holding a somewhat ambiguous expression.

Maurice stood behind Adrian. As a female insect, he was always perceptive in certain aspects. Now, he took in the interaction between the two insects in front of him and clearly felt the discomfort that Fabian was causing him.

He put his hands behind his back and unconsciously clenched them into fists.

Adrian didn't feel much of a difference. He had originally wanted Fabian to examine Morris's eyes, but the female insect doctor's illogical words and actions made Adrian somewhat suspicious.

“I haven’t been feeling well lately. I have no appetite, my head is foggy, and I always feel sleepy. Can you take a look and tell me what’s wrong?” Adrian sat in his chair and briefly explained his condition to Fabian.

There's no such thing as being mentally unwell. Zerg males eat and sleep, sleep and eat, they're all like this.

Fabian nodded after listening and asked, "Sir, have you been under any stress lately? Anxiety and unease can also cause loss of appetite."

The creature, clinging to life, was still pressing down on Adrian's head. It seemed quite pleased with Adrian's hair, wishing it could build a nest directly on Adrian's head.

Ignoring the heaviness in his head, Adrian numbly replied, "Yes, I've been under a lot of pressure lately. Anxiety isn't a problem, though."

Fabian nodded and asked, "Is there anything else that's bothering you?"

"Let's mate. My empress isn't in good health, and her stamina isn't high enough to satisfy me," Adrian said. "I have no intention of remarrying, and my libido isn't high right now. What do you suggest?"

Fabian: "..."

Morris: "..."

Morris suddenly loosened his fist behind his back. His fingers curled up, clenched, and then loosened again, feeling somewhat lost for the first time.

He never discussed these things in front of other insects. The female soldiers would sometimes discuss the young males, but never like Adrian.
