The two of them had an air of mortal conflict. It was just a legional contest, but these two female soldiers, Morris and Colin, showed no regard for friendship. Their fists were flying, and their desire to kill each other was written all over their faces.

In the end, Morris came out on top. He fought like a madman and had no regard for his image, holding onto Colin tightly the entire time.

Colin also began to tire later on. He gritted his teeth and glared at Morris, but ultimately decided to admit defeat first.

Morris was much better physique than Colin. He had a larger frame and the strength of his limbs was comparable to that of a large beast. This natural superior physique could overwhelm many of his female counterparts.

Morris had anticipated this outcome. He took the military coat handed to him by the female soldier, turned around and walked out of the megalithic site under the gaze of the insects.

"Wow." Adrian clapped twice for Maurice in line with the applause in the video. After he finished, he leaned back in his chair and continued watching, but there was no more content related to Maurice.

Morris's image as an insect was so poor, coupled with his bad habit of smoking and misleading young female insects, that he was almost never included in subsequent special interviews.

The documentary ends with the section about Maurice.

Adrian was still somewhat unsatisfied after watching it, so he watched it several more times from the beginning and saved a screenshot of Maurice leaning against the wall smoking in his album.

Even though it was just trying to survive, it thought the smoking posture was pretty good. An image of an electronic cigarette appeared on its screen, and it then pretended to tilt the device back and blow two non-existent smoke rings: "Whoosh—"

Adrian: "..."

“You’re just trying to survive. A one-year-old little bug shouldn’t smoke. Don’t pick up any bad habits you might have.” Adrian paused for a moment before finally speaking to the one who was trying to survive.

He scoffed, "I'll be two years old soon."

“You can’t learn this even when you’re ten.” Adrian stood up, glanced at Gouqiechoing, and said, “But even if you were a ball, you probably still wouldn’t be able to smoke this stuff.”

To live a life of ignominy: "..."

Adrian ate dinner for more than an hour. After Adrian put away his personal computer, the little robot waiting nearby quickly stepped forward and cleaned up the leftovers on the table.

Adrian glanced at the time; it was just before eight o'clock, more than an hour before Morris would get off work.

He used this time to go into the bathroom to wash up, and changed into a clean set of pajamas afterward. The dog, still trying to keep him occupied, kept urging Adrian to read, but Adrian's head ached from its noise, and he finally gave up on playing another game.

Several messages arrived on the personal terminal. Adrian, who was lying in bed, picked up the terminal again when he heard the notification sound.

The top doctor he had contacted online replied to him, saying that he was available on the weekend and that Adrian could book an appointment with him as a specialist on the weekend.

Adrian, being a male, has the right to priority treatment. However, Maurice is a female, so even if Adrian uses his status, Maurice still has to wait in line.

This top-notch doctor is rarely on duty at the hospital, so it was already quite difficult for Adrian to get an appointment with him as a specialist. Considering that the weekend wasn't far off, Adrian thought about it and accepted the arrangement.

The top doctor then sent Adrian the location, and the time was chosen by Adrian, set for 9:00 AM on Saturday.

Neither of them had any objections, and the exchange ended quickly.

Adrian had previously searched for basic information about this doctor on the StarNet. He was a prodigy, and although it was unclear where he came from, his medical skills were superb, and he had already brought patients back to life in several surgeries.

Morris's eye wound showed no signs of improvement, so Adrian had no choice but to find a doctor unrelated to the royal family to examine him.

After resolving the issues at the hospital, Adrian shut down his personal terminal again. With Gouqi Tiaosheng watching him from the side, Adrian was forced to open the white paper again.

Morris returned to the villa around 9 p.m.

All the lights in the villa were on. Adrian never knew how to conserve electricity; he always kept all the lights on at home for his own convenience.

Morris looked up and saw that the curtains in the second-floor bedroom were drawn, blocking out the light and the scene inside.

Morris straightened his military uniform at the doorway. His shirt buttons were all fastened to the top, his cuffs were neatly folded, and his facial expression remained unchanged.

He unlocked the mechanical lock on the front door and went straight to his bedroom on the second floor after returning.

“My lord, may I come in?” Morris knocked on the door twice.

Soon, Adrian's voice came from inside.

"come in."

Morris then opened the door and looked into the room. He saw Adrian wrapped in a blanket, sitting half-upright on the bed, his fingers occasionally swiping through videos on his personal terminal.

The soft lighting outlined a subtle golden edge on his face.

Morris strode forward, knelt on one knee beside Adrian's bed, and took out the game console he had hidden behind his back: "My lord, this is for you."

This latest game console comes in exquisite packaging, with the seller using a high-end, shockproof gift box. As if intentionally designed to attract male insects, the console also includes many small gems as decorations.

Adrian looked slightly surprised. The game console was quite large. Holding the gift box, he asked, "Didn't you say it was sold out?"

"The store restocked tonight, and I bought it after get off work." Morris made no attempt to hide his accomplishment. He grasped the corner of Adrian's bedding and whispered, "My lord, do you like it?"

Adrian glanced at the small gems inside the game console gift box. These gems were all quite valuable and required pre-ordering and customization. Of course, getting these extra gifts would likely require quite a bit of effort.

“I see…” Adrian held the gift box with one hand, turned his eyes slightly, pinched Maurice’s chin and kissed his lips, “I like it very much.”

Morris looked up and licked his lips after Adrian left, secretly thinking that buying the game console was a good deal.

"Have you had dinner?" Adrian put his arm around Morris's waist, tightening his grip slightly.

Maurice sensed Adrian's intention and obediently got up and sat on the edge of the bed: "My lord, I've already had dinner at the military headquarters. What about you?"

“I’ve eaten at home too, and the food the robot makes isn’t as good as yours,” Adrian said.

As he spoke, he rested his head against Maurice's chest, then tilted his chin up to gently inhale the scent of Maurice's neck.

Morris lowered his eyelashes. Adrian's breathing was soft, each touch feeling like a feather brushing against his skin. He unconsciously gripped the blankets tighter, feeling Adrian's sniffing expanding, from his neck to his chest, and then down to his lower abdomen.

"...My lord, do I smell bad?"
