Sheng Shixian's palms were rough, but his fingers were long and slender. Pei Du was being pinched and tilted back, his eyes narrowing slightly as waves of pain climbed up his jaw.

“Sheng Shixian, aren’t you no longer pretending now?” Pei Du’s black hair was messy, obscuring his intermittent vision. Pei Du smiled and said, “You remembered long ago, didn’t you?”

Sheng Shixian didn't lessen his grip, and he chuckled in a hoarse voice, "Yes, Pei Du, I remembered a long time ago. Does it feel good to call you master?"

Sheng Shixian wouldn't change his form of address without a reason; his memories returned during a time when Pei Du was unaware of it.

However, he quickly went into hiding after that, acting as if nothing had happened.

“Pei Du, I know everything about every day we spent together, every single thing you did to take advantage of me.” Sheng Shixian’s breath was all over Pei Du’s face. He finally let go of Pei Du’s hand and gently stroked the scar on the side of Pei Du’s ear with his fingertips. “I know everything.”

Pei Du's gaze froze for a moment. He leaned against the wall and asked, "Really? Then why did you come here?"

The message he deliberately sent via his phone was a trap that Sheng Shixian saw through at a glance. It was laid out so clearly, yet Sheng Shixian, with a clear head, jumped right into it.

"Why did I come here..." Sheng Shixian repeated, as if he found it laughable. He retaliated by pressing and rubbing the skin on Pei Du's ear with his fingertips, making that part of the flesh burn and sting.

“Pei Du, don’t you know why I went?” Sheng Shixian said with inexplicable hatred, his tone turning gloomy. “You wanted me to go, so I went. I know what you’re thinking.”

A person with an almost abnormally high level of vigilance, constantly on guard against certain things. The unease and repressed gloom that always shrouded Pei Du also subtly affected Sheng Shixian's emotions.

Sheng Shixian knew what awaited him there. The military and the alien race were at odds and incompatible, and Sheng Shixian might not be able to escape once he went there.

But what could he do?

Pei Du was uneasy and afraid.

He needed Sheng Shixian to stand in front of him, to provide him with protection and assurance.

Although Pei Du never truly incorporated Sheng Shixian into his territory throughout the entire process, he merely regarded Sheng Shixian as a somewhat useful tool.

Sheng Shixian suddenly chuckled, as if he were laughing at Pei Du, or perhaps at himself.

Pei Du's Adam's apple bobbed as he looked at Sheng Shixian's blurry, indistinct facial features in the darkness. His heart was being washed over by waves of aching, swollen emotions, which seemed to corrode, rot, and then regrow.

“Sheng Shixian, I didn’t abandon you and run away, and I will never do that again.” Pei Du’s arm moved unnaturally. He was being pressed down by Sheng Shixian and half-lying on the table. He seemed to feel the spasms and tremors in Sheng Shixian’s muscles.

"Is that so?" Sheng Shixian sneered, seemingly unconcerned. "Why?"

Pei Du put his arm around Sheng Shixian's neck. The things he had hesitated over for a long time and couldn't figure out, the things he had always watched with a cold eye, still broke through the encirclement and pierced into Pei Du's eyes.

Pei Du sighed, his nose brushing against Sheng Shixian's for a few seconds before he kissed the scratches and wounds on Sheng Shixian's cheek, "Because I can't bear to part with you."

Life is the most important thing, and so is prosperity.

Pei Du was hardly moved by emotions. He didn't believe in marriage contracts, let alone sweet words and promises. He wouldn't even waste time listening to anything so ethereal and unreal.

The kind of relationship he desires requires Sheng Shixian to open his chest and fully reveal the heart within that beats for Pei Du. Only after Pei Du has verified this will he feel at ease and satisfied.

Sheng Shixian stood frozen in place. Pei Du's lips were warm and wet, and when he kissed the wound on Sheng Shixian's face, he felt a slight pain.

“Pei Du…” Sheng Shixian was stunned for a moment before his thoughts returned. He smiled slightly and slipped his hand under the hem of Pei Du’s shirt.

"Pei Du, you can't bear to part with me?" Sheng Shixian aimlessly stroked Pei Du's upper body. Pei Du had clearly not suffered much hardship; his skin felt smooth and delicate to the touch. "Why can't you bear to part with me?"

Sheng Shixian's breathing became heavy, and his emotions suddenly reversed in an instant, as if he had finally won the battle.

Pei Du tilted his head back without speaking. He ran his fingers through Sheng Shixian's thick black hair and then looked down.

Sheng Shixian gently bit Pei Du's lip, his amber pupils fixed ahead, catching the eye of the person he was looking into in the darkness. He smiled, "Pei Du, you like me."

"You know that's good." Pei Du narrowed his eyes. He was initially slowly responding to Sheng Shixian's kiss, but soon he took the initiative to stick out a small, slightly red tip of his tongue and probe into the gap between Sheng Shixian's lips.

Sheng Shixian chuckled softly as his soft tongue intertwined with Pei Du's, intimately conveying the unfamiliar touch and temperature within the other's body.

Sheng Shixian's hand, which was touching Pei Du's back, moved down with great purpose, and with a few quick flicks of his fingertips, he untied Pei Du's belt.

With a crisp metallic thud, a useless men's leather belt was tossed aside.

Pei Du's shirt was half off, revealing most of his pale chest. He didn't dwell on his upper body and instead unzipped Sheng Shixian's pants.

"Envy of the prosperous times..."

After a series of soft, discreet clicks, Pei Du's voice abruptly ceased. The restraints on his wrists were evident; the handcuffs were cold, pressed tightly against his skin, and carried a threatening chill.

"Pei Du, your game is over." Sheng Shixian, still feeling hot, kneaded the back of Pei Du's neck soothingly and said, "Now it's my turn to be the master of the game."

Pei Du: "..."

He strained, but couldn't break free even an inch. It was made of a similar material to what he had at home, making it difficult to forcibly tear apart by hand. It was clear that Sheng Shixian had planned this all along, deliberately choosing this moment to strike.

"Sheng Shixian, what do you mean?" Pei Du's hands were not able to move easily. When he saw that Sheng Shixian still wanted to press down on him, he directly bent his leg and stepped on his thigh.

"It's nothing. Didn't I tell you? Now it's my turn." Sheng Shixian grabbed Pei Du's ankle with one hand, and using the momentum, he pulled Pei Du's trousers off completely.

He covered Pei Du's back with a thin layer of underwear and deftly took out several condoms from the drawer next to him.

Pei Du's gaze lingered on the scattered, unidentified objects for a few seconds before slowly shifting to Sheng Shixian. "You prepared so much for me?"

Sheng Shixian smiled faintly and said, "Not much, just a normal amount."

Pei Du raised an eyebrow, then leaned against the wall as if he had given up in despair, his eyes fixed on the direction where Sheng Shixian was.

"Turn on the light, I want to watch over you."
