With a crisp thud, the golden mask, carved with the fangs of a wild beast, fell onto the stone floor. Water splashed around it, leaving the ground wet.

Shen Yu looked up and grabbed Wen Yu by the neck. He paused when he saw the right half of Wen Yu's face under the mask.

Wen Yu's right cheek was injured by some blunt object. After the flesh rotted, it formed a bunch of raised scars. They viciously bit at the surrounding skin, forming a terrifying face that was similar to the beast totem on the golden mask.

Shen Yu's pupils trembled, and he stared blankly at Wen Yu.

Wen Yu looked like a water ghost who had just crawled out of the water, her wet hair plastered to the side of her face. The left half of her face was bewitching and bright, while the right half was particularly ugly and sinister.

The pain in Shen Yu's mind gradually subsided, and the images in front of him faded away, leaving only Wen Yu's figure in the end.

"Shen Yu, you've been poisoned, haven't you?" Wen Yu looked at Shen Yu and suddenly asked, "The cold poison from the photo studio, isn't it?"

Shen Yu lifted his eyelids, and before he could speak, Wen Yu could read the meaning from his micro-expressions.

He leaned closer to Shen Yu and said, "I know how to cure this poison."
