Beijing Colors Lingering

Chapter 115 A Trip to the Port City

When the birthday party's protagonist, Chung Pak-ho, saw Chow Yen-tsung and Shen Jin-sui, he invited them to take their seats.

After Shen Jinsui sat down, she saw Zhong Baihao's cousin, Zhong Ruolin. The two studied at the same university, but Shen Jinsui's relationship with her was just so-so.

After a while, the door to the private room was opened by a waiter, and a man and a woman walked in.

Shen Jinsui casually glanced up and saw that the man was Lin Shengan, and there was a girl with him beside him. She was beautiful and had gentle, watery eyes.

Lin Shengan had brought this girl to her birthday party last time, and Shen Jinsui had some impression of her; her name was Jiang Shimian.

Not long after, Shen Jinsui saw Rong Yanxiu leading a girl into the private room. The girl had delicate and beautiful features, the kind of pure and bright white flower look, and an outstanding temperament.

Shen Jinsui withdrew her gaze, then looked at Zhou Yancong and asked curiously, "Does your cousin have a girlfriend?"

Shen Jinsui remembered that when she saw Rong Yanxiu at the birthday party, he did not have any female companions with him.

Zhou Yancong glanced at Rong Yanxiu and the girl beside him, and said slowly, "I heard from Zhong Baihao not long ago that my cousin is pursuing a graduate student from the University of Hong Kong. They should be together now."

"Yes, I think they are a good match." Shen Jinsui nodded slightly.

Zhou Yancong reached out and took her hand, calmly saying, "We are a better match."

Shen Jinsui curled her red lips into a helpless smile and teased him, "Narcissist."

Zhou Yancong smiled slightly, gently stroking her hand, and said earnestly, "I'm telling the truth."

Rong Yanxiu and the girl sat down, and then he briefly introduced the person next to him to everyone.

Shen Jinsui soon learned that the girl's name was Wen Qingyao, a first-year graduate student in the Department of Finance at Hong Kong City University, and that she looked to be about the same age as Shen Jinsui.

During the meal, Chung Pak-ho's cousin, Chung Yeuk-lam, suddenly made a sarcastic remark, deliberately targeting Wen Ching-yao, which immediately turned the originally harmonious atmosphere strange.

Shen Jinsui noticed that Rong Yanxiu's expression changed instantly, and he sternly reprimanded Zhong Ruolin, telling her to apologize to Wen Qingyao immediately.

When Shen Jinsui was studying abroad, she would occasionally run into Zhong Ruolin at school events or friend gatherings. Because she was Zhong Baihao's cousin, she always acted arrogantly towards others.

Because Shen Jinsui knew Zhong Baihao, Zhong Ruolin knew Shen Jinsui's true family background, so she was always very polite to her.

This kind of person is a typical bully who preys on the weak and fears the strong, and Shen Jinsui has never had a good impression of her.

Shen Jinsui glanced at Zhong Ruolin, her bright and beautiful face revealing a hint of disdain, and directly retorted, "Zhong Baihao, I think your sister isn't thinking straight. Why don't you have a doctor come and give her a full check-up?"

Zhong Ruolin glanced at Shen Jinsui, feeling a little angry, but she didn't dare to retort. She just pursed her lips and remained silent.

Seeing this, Zhong Baihao quickly reached out and pushed Zhong Ruolin, his brows furrowing slightly as he glanced at her impatiently, signaling her to apologize immediately.

Zhong Ruolin immediately stood up, bent down slightly, and apologized to Wen Qingyao.

This unpleasant little incident ended quickly, and everyone continued their meal.

After dinner, Zhou Yancong led Shen Jinsui to the quiet and empty deck.

The deep, dark sea reflected the constantly flashing lights of the yacht, and the rolling, surging waves shimmered.

Zhou Yancong pulled Shen Jinsui into his arms, wrapping her tightly inside his open dark gray coat.

Shen Jinsui raised her hand and hugged Zhou Yancong's waist, her cheek pressed against his firm and strong chest, the sound of his steady and powerful heartbeat ringing in her ear, while the whistling wind and the sound of the waves fell into her other ear.

Zhou Yancong lowered his head and kissed the top of her fluffy hair, asking, "Baby, it's almost the last day of the year, where do you want to go to celebrate the New Year?"

Shen Jinsui deeply felt the fleeting nature of time. When she first met Zhou Yancong, it was early summer, and now they were not only dating, but also engaged.

After a moment's thought, Shen Jinsui parted her lips slightly and asked, "Will it be just the two of us, or with our friends?"

"How about we spend time alone?" Zhou Yancong asked gently, his tone slow and clear.

He just wanted to spend their first New Year's Eve together.

"Okay." Shen Jinsui smiled.

Zhou Yancong asked her in a low voice, "Where do you want to spend New Year's Eve?"

After thinking for a while, Shen Jinsui replied, "Then let's stay at Jingsheng Manor, or wherever you want to go, as long as we stay together."

"Okay." Zhou Yanzong lowered his head and kissed her cheek, resting his chin on her shoulder.

Afterwards, they and the others spent some time in the yacht's recreation area before returning to their rooms to rest.

Chung Pak-ho arranged a spacious and luxurious suite for Chow Yen-tsung and Shen Jin-sui.

Upon entering the master bedroom of the suite, the first thing you see is a huge floor-to-ceiling window that offers a panoramic view of the sea.

Shen Jinsui stood by the window, and what she could see was the boundless sea, mysterious and profound.

A moment later, her back was pressed against a burning hot chest.

Zhou Yancong gently nibbled on her earlobe, his lips brushing against the skin of her neck.

A burst of hot breath sprayed on Shen Jinsui's ear, causing a dense, ticklish sensation to run down her neck.

She raised her hand and covered the back of his large hand, scolding him in a soft voice, "My brother and the others also live on this floor, so don't do anything reckless tonight."

Zhou Yancong's eyes softened, and his lips brushed against her fair and delicate earlobe as he coaxed in a low, gentle voice, "Don't worry, the soundproofing in each room is excellent."

Shen Jinsui blinked and muttered, "Then...you're not allowed to leave any traces."

“Okay, I promise you,” Zhou Yanzong replied in a hoarse voice, deep and alluring.

Shen Jinsui felt a tingling, itchy sensation spreading throughout her body, letting the large hand do whatever it wanted.

As her clothes slipped off, the surging waves outside the window stirred up ripples and rolled with white foam.

After a long while, Shen Jinsui's hands, which had been supporting her against the French windows, slowly fell to her sides. She slumped weakly back into the warm, thick chest, tears welling in her reddened eyes.

Zhou Yancong lowered his head and kissed Shen Jinsui's smooth, jade-like shoulder. His expression was satisfied, with lingering desire in his eyes. Then he picked up the person in his arms and carried her into the bathroom.

……

The following afternoon, Zhou Yancong took Shen Jinsui to visit his aunt Zhou Zhuyun and uncle.

Zhou Zhuyun also attended the couple's engagement party last month. She was very satisfied with her future niece-in-law and, holding her husband's hand, exclaimed, "I wish our future daughter-in-law could be as outstanding as Sui Sui."

"Aunt Zhou, you flatter me." Shen Jinsui smiled sweetly upon hearing this, feeling a little embarrassed. She quietly tugged at Zhou Yancong's hand, signaling him to speak.

Zhou Yancong glanced at his aunt and said slowly, "Aunt, my cousin's judgment is definitely good. You and Uncle don't need to worry about him."

Zhou Zhuyun sighed softly, a hint of displeasure flashing in her eyes, "I clearly arranged a marriage for him before, but he didn't agree."

Zhou Yancong calmly advised, "Aunt, my cousin has his own ideas. My parents have never interfered too much in my love life."

Zhou Zhuyun smiled faintly and said dismissively, "Parents always want the best for their children, and we won't harm him."

Zhou Yancong's uncle nodded slightly, agreeing with his wife's statement.

Zhou Yancong didn't say anything more. He knew his aunt's stubborn personality well, and she probably wouldn't agree to his cousin being with that girl in the future.

Zhou Yancong had already tried his best to persuade his aunt; the rest was up to his cousin.

After dinner, Shen Jinsui and Zhou Yancong returned to Beijing by private jet.
