Quick Transmigration: Finding a Successor for a Sect in JX3

Chapter 16 Finding the Valley of a Thousand Flowers

Although her senior sister said she had to find a peerless successor herself, Hong Fei didn't pay much attention. Finding a peerless successor isn't something you can just do whenever you want; you have to consider whether the successor is suitable.

Just like Lu Xiaofeng, Hong Fei racked her brains but still couldn't figure out which sect he was suited for. She even asked Lu Xiaofeng himself. He said he'd leave it to fate. Hong Fei simply gave up and let things take their course. Anyway, the world would upgrade eventually. If Lu Xiaofeng didn't want to be left behind, he would naturally find a suitable sect to learn from.

What Hongfei needs to do now is to find the teleportation points of those sects and open the teleportation arrays. This will allow those sects to appear in this world, and then the sects in JX3 will naturally choose suitable successors.

What Hongfei needs to do isn't to search for successors one by one. After all, how many can Hongfei find by herself? What Hongfei should do is open the teleportation array, allowing sects from the Jianwang 3 world to appear in the world Hongfei arrives in, thus giving them a chance to find successors. This would accelerate the merging of the rules between the two worlds.

This is Hong Fei's mission. Actually, finding a peerless successor is just a side effect of Hong Fei's mission. You have to understand that each peerless successor is a chosen one of destiny. It's obvious that the number of peerless successors that can be found in a world is limited. If you rely solely on peerless successors to complete the fusion of rules, it's unrealistic.

The task wouldn't be accomplished overnight. Hong Fei simply gave up and decided to focus on properly examining Hua Manlou's eyes first.

Hong Fei led Hua Manlou and Lu Xiaofeng to Qixiu Manor, intending to detour to Wanhua Valley from there. Upon arriving at Qixiu Manor, they learned from the coachman that Hua Manlou and Lu Xiaofeng were not natives of the Jianwang 3 world. Therefore, they needed to join a sect and form a contract with the Jianwang 3 world to learn its unique skills, such as "Divine Travel."

Hua Manlou and Lu Xiaofeng don't have the "Divine Travel" ability to go directly to Wanhua Valley. Therefore, they must take a boat from Qixiufang to Yangzhou City in the JX3 world. From there, they need to take a long-distance carriage to Wanhua Valley. The distance is extremely far and the process is very troublesome and time-consuming. Now that the JX3 world is a reality, unlike the game where you can reach it instantly after clearing a map, the journey from Qixiufang to Wanhua Valley takes more than a month.

Hong Fei, Lu Xiaofeng, and Hua Manlou exchanged bewildered glances upon hearing the news. Hong Fei was also undecided; Hua Manlou's eyes definitely needed treatment. However, the journey to Wanhua Valley would take too long. Lu Xiaofeng's case regarding the Embroidered Thief was still unresolved, and a month was simply not an option for him. The three decided to return to Baihua Tower to discuss the matter further.

Back at the Hundred Flowers Pavilion, the three discussed the matter. They decided to have Lu Xiaofeng reinvestigate the case on Embroidery Avenue, and then meet up with Hua Manlou and Hong Fei once the case was closed.

Hua Manlou accompanied Hong Fei to Qingyan in the Qinling Mountains to find the spatial coordinates of the Wanhua Valley sect. Hong Fei felt that she had found the spatial coordinates of the Qixiu Sect at the Slender West Lake in Yangzhou. Therefore, the Wanhua Valley must be in the Qinling Mountains. After all, the Wanhua Valley in the world of JX3 is located in Qingyan of the Qinling Mountains; going there would be the right way to find it.

After the three of them discussed it, Lu Xiaofeng went to investigate his own case.

Hua Manlou and Hong Fei also prepared some outdoor supplies and headed towards the Qinling Mountains.

Hongfei and Huamanlou arrived in the Qinling Mountains. However, they didn't know where Qingyan was. After all, the Qinling Mountains were vast, and without precise coordinates, it was difficult to find. They could only search slowly.

A month passed in the blink of an eye, during which time Hua Manlou and Hong Fei suffered greatly in the Qinling Mountains. Hong Fei even said, "If I had known, I would have gone to Wanhua Valley instead of Qixiufang."

Although both were skilled in martial arts, traversing the desolate Qinling Mountains without a single path made finding even a small coordinate incredibly difficult. After traversing mountains and valleys, they finally arrived at a canyon. The canyon wasn't long, ending at a cave. Hua Manlou and Hong Fei decided to spend the night in this mountain pavilion and continue their search the next day.

Hongfei and Huamanlou arrived at the cave entrance. After careful observation, they found the entrance smooth and without any signs of animals entering or exiting. This indicated that no wild animals lived in the cave, so they could make do with spending the night there.

Hua Manlou and Hong Fei lit torches and headed into the cave. They hadn't gone far when a ringing sound filled Hong Fei's mind. Hearing this, Hong Fei immediately became excited. They'd finally found it! It was the same sound they used to detect the spatial coordinates last time.

"We might have found Hua Manlou!" Hong Fei said excitedly as she hurried into the cave. Hua Manlou quickly followed.

Hong Fei and Hua Manlou walked for a while in the cave and then noticed a light ahead. They quickly walked towards the light and, upon reaching it, discovered it was a cave exit. They stepped out of the cave. Hong Fei then noticed a spatial coordinate point on the platform at the exit; they had indeed found it.

"Hua Manlou, we really found it!" Hong Fei jumped up with joy.

"Yes, it was really hard to find." Hua Manlou was also very happy.

For the past month, he had been following Hong Fei and watching her, so small, trudging through these desolate mountains and wilderness, enduring immense hardship. Dragging such a tiny body around, searching everywhere was truly difficult.

Hongfei looked around. She found that the exit was just a small platform. Beyond the platform were sheer cliffs. Below the cliffs was a large valley, shrouded in mist and not very clear. However, the terrain was very similar to the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers in the game JX3.

If it were just Hong Fei alone, she could use her lightness skill to go down and take a look. However, she's with Hua Manlou, whose lightness skill isn't enough to walk on such a high cliff. So they have to give up. Anyway, as long as the coordinates are opened, the senior brothers and sisters from Wanhua Valley will naturally come, so she doesn't need to worry about it.

Hong Fei took out another teleportation array disc from her backpack and placed it at the spatial coordinates. Practice makes perfect; Hong Fei had done it once before, so this time she didn't hesitate at all.

After activating the teleportation array, Hong Fei and Hua Manlou stepped onto it together.

Emerging from the teleportation array, Hongfei discovered that this was indeed the entrance to the Valley of a Thousand Flowers.

"Hua Manlou, we've arrived at the Valley of a Thousand Flowers! Your eyes can be healed!" Hong Fei seemed very happy. After searching for so long, they had finally arrived at the Valley of a Thousand Flowers. This result was truly hard-won.

Hua Manlou sensed Hong Fei's happiness. He was happy too, though still a little apprehensive. After all, he had had his eyes examined by many people over the years, only to be disappointed each time. He feared this time would be another disappointment, but seeing Hong Fei so happy, he didn't show it.

After taking a few steps forward, Hong Fei saw Li Dongliu, the welcoming envoy of Wan Hua Valley. Li Dongliu greeted Hong Fei and Hua Manlou, saying, "Welcome, welcome, welcome to Wan Hua Valley. You can take the Ink Sculpture directly to Sanxing Wangyue by walking a few steps forward."

"Thank you, Senior Brother Li, but Hua Manlou is new to Wanhua Valley. I'll show him around." Hong Fei bid farewell to Li Dongliu.

Hong Fei led Hua Manlou forward, deciding to take him to see Senior Brother Pei Yuan first. Hong Fei led Hua Manlou to the cloud ladder. Together they rode the cloud ladder into the valley, with Hong Fei introducing the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers to Hua Manlou as they walked. They slowly made their way towards Falling Star Lake.

On the way to Falling Star Lake, Wanhua disciples could be seen practicing their skills everywhere. There were also many agile monkeys in the nearby woods, leaping and bounding among the trees.

Further on, we came to a stone bridge over a lake with gently flowing water. The bridge connected to a small island in the middle of the lake, where our senior brother, Pei Yuan, lived.

When Hongfei and Huamanlou arrived on the island, they saw Pei Yuan, the senior disciple of the Wanhua Sect, instructing his disciples and answering their questions. Hongfei led Huamanlou over and quietly stood beside him, watching Pei Yuan teach his disciples without making a sound.

After waiting a while, Senior Brother Pei looked up after answering his disciple's question. Seeing Hong Fei and Hua Manlou standing beside him, he stood up and walked towards them.

"I heard a while ago that you opened the Seven Show Pavilion's teleportation array, and I was thinking that you might not be able to open other teleportation arrays for a while. I didn't expect you to open a second one so quickly. And it's from my Ten Thousand Flowers Valley." Pei Yuan said as he walked up to Hong Fei and the others.

"Hey, Senior Brother Pei, in order to find the teleportation point of your Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers, Hua Manlou and I lived like wild men in this desolate wilderness for a whole month," Hong Fei complained to Senior Brother Pei Yuan with a smile.
