Hong Fei led Wei Wuxian to Yiling Town below the Burial Mound and booked two rooms at an inn.

Hongfei first helped Wei Wuxian into the room, and then asked the waiter to find a doctor.

The doctor came to Wei Wuxian's room, took his pulse, prescribed some medicine, and said that his injury would heal in a few days.

Hong Fei was dumbfounded when she held the medicine; she didn't know how to decoct it. Hong Fei had no choice but to take out a silver ingot and call over the waiter. She handed the silver and the medicine to the waiter, asking him to help decoct it, and the waiter happily agreed.

Wei Wuxian watched Hong Fei bustling around, and finally managed to sit down. He then said to Hong Fei, "Thank you for saving me."

Hongfei, ever the nonchalant one, waved her hand and said, "No need to thank me. I didn't save you for nothing. I'm a complete stranger in this place, so once you're better, you'll have to be my guide."

Wei Wuxian smiled and said, "No problem! It's just that my current situation might implicate you."

Hong Fei said to Wei Wuxian nonchalantly, "Don't worry, you're not going to get me into trouble. You should rest first, and we can talk about it when you're rested."

After saying that, Hong Fei left Wei Wuxian's room, making sure to close the door behind her.

Hongfei went to the next room, pushed open the door, went inside, and closed it. She went to the bed, spread her legs out, and lay down on the bed.

Hong Fei thought about what she knew about the world of *The Untamed*. Right now, Wei Wuxian had just been thrown into the Burial Mounds. Wen Ning and Wen Qing were still alive and well. Jin Guangyao and Xue Yang hadn't had a chance to do evil yet, Jin Zixuan was still alive, and her sister Jiang Yanli was still safe and sound. And Jiang Cheng, Jiang Wanyin, Lan Zhan, Lan Wangji, Lan Huan, Lan Xichen, and Nie Huaisang were all still safe and sound. Hong Fei's eyes gleamed with excitement; it seemed this was a huge success.

Hong Fei fell asleep while thinking, and when she woke up it was already dinnertime. Hong Fei left her room and went to Wei Wuxian's room next door, knocking on the door. She called out, "Wei Wuxian, are you awake?"

From inside the room, Wei Wuxian said, "Hongfei, I'm awake. Come in."

When Hong Fei entered the room, she saw Wei Wuxian leaning weakly against the bedpost, looking extremely fragile.

When Wei Wuxian saw Hong Fei enter, he smiled at her and said, "You're awake. Did you get some rest?"

Hongfei nodded and said as she walked towards the chair, "You're awake. You rested well. I'm just hungry. I came over to ask what you'd like to eat so we can have a meal together."

Wei Wuxian smiled and said, "I'm fine with anything, but the dishes should be a little spicy, and it would be even better if there was a pot of wine too."

Hongfei looked at Wei Wuxian as if he were an idiot and said, "What are you thinking? You want to eat spicy food? You want to drink alcohol? Are you out of your mind?"

Wei Wuxian pouted and muttered, "Didn't you ask me what I wanted to eat? I just told you."

Hong Fei chuckled twice at Wei Wuxian and said disdainfully, "You should at least have some self-awareness. Don't you see what you look like now? You keep ordering things that can't be eaten."

Wei Wuxian awkwardly touched his nose and said softly, "I was just thinking about it."

Hong Fei rolled her eyes at Wei Wuxian and said with a hint of disdain, "You can't even think about it."

Hongfei walked to the door and called over a waiter, saying, "Go and prepare a meal that the patient can eat, and also bring me a regular meal and take it to the room."

After giving the instructions, Hongfei took out a tael of silver from her backpack and tossed it to the waiter. The waiter happily said to Hongfei, "Sir, please wait a moment. I'll bring it to you right away."

After saying that, the waiter ran off in a flash, leaving a trail of crisp footsteps echoing in the corridor. Hong Fei turned around and saw Wei Wuxian looking at her with an expression that said, "I'm wronged, but I won't say it." She couldn't help but find it a little funny, and the corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up.

"Alright, I know you're craving it, but your health is the most important thing," Hong Fei said gently, her eyes full of smiles and concern. "Once you're better, I'll treat you to a good meal. You can eat whatever you want, including all your favorite spicy dishes and wine."

Upon hearing this, Wei Wuxian's aggrieved expression vanished almost entirely, and a satisfied smile crept onto his lips. "It's a deal then, no backing out," he quickly confirmed, as if afraid Hong Fei might change her mind.

Hongfei smiled and nodded, and the atmosphere between the two became warm and harmonious. Soon, the waiter brought in two steaming dishes. One was a carefully prepared meal for the patient, light yet nutritious; the other was Hongfei's ordinary food, which looked, smelled, and tasted delicious.

"Sir, your meal is here. Please enjoy." The waiter gently placed the food on the table, gave a polite bow, and then left the room.

Hong Fei and Wei Wuxian exchanged a smile, then each picked up their chopsticks and began to enjoy their special lunch. Although Wei Wuxian's meal seemed simple, he ate with great relish, occasionally stealing a glance at Hong Fei's portion, a hint of envy flashing in his eyes. Hong Fei, on the other hand, kept a close eye on Wei Wuxian, making sure he ate properly, and frequently adding easily digestible dishes to his plate.

Inside the room, only the soft sounds of their conversation and the clinking of bowls and chopsticks created an atmosphere of exceptional tranquility and harmony. In this small space, time seemed to slow down, allowing one to forget the hustle and bustle of the outside world.

After the meal, Hongfei called the waiter to clear away the dishes and chopsticks. Then, Hongfei poured herself a cup of tea, held it in her hands without drinking it, and looked at Wei Wuxian, asking, "What do you want to do after your injuries heal?"

Wei Wuxian looked at Hong Fei and said, "I'm going to find my junior brother Jiang Cheng."

Hong Fei looked at Wei Wuxian and paused for a moment before saying, "Actually, I don't recommend that you go find Jiang Cheng now."

Wei Wuxian looked at Hong Fei in surprise and asked, "You know Jiang Cheng!"

Hong Fei shook her head and said, "I don't know Jiang Cheng, but I know him, just like I know you, but I don't know you personally."

Upon hearing Hong Fei's words, Wei Wuxian imagined himself being arrogant and said, "Does that mean Jiang Cheng and I are so famous?"

Hong Fei looked at the narcissistic Wei Wuxian with a black line on her forehead and said speechlessly, "You're overthinking it. It's not what you think at all."

Wei Wuxian looked at Hong Fei with a puzzled expression and asked, "Then how did you know about us?"

“唉~~”红翡掰着手指头数了一下。“1、2、3、4、5、都第五个了。”

Hong Fei said to Wei Wuxian with a helpless tone, "You might not believe me, but what I'm saying is true. Actually, I'm not from your world. This is my fifth time traveling to another world."

"Ah!" Wei Wuxian exclaimed in surprise. He looked at Hong Fei suspiciously, his eyes clearly saying: What kind of nonsense are you making up?

Hong Fei sighed and rubbed her forehead, pouting as she said, "You people! You even have the same initial reaction."
