"Take a look at this." A-Qiang pointed to a pair of sneakers, simple in design yet exuding a sense of power. "These are perfect for you, lightweight yet sturdy, just what you need right now."

Huang Feipeng picked up the shoes and examined them carefully. The new shoes felt great, light and comfortable, but he was still thinking about Shadow Serpent's movements, thinking to himself, "These shoes are not just for convenience, but also to prepare me for the challenges I will face in the future."

"How about giving it a try?" Ah Qiang urged.

"Okay." Huang Feipeng nodded, gradually relaxing as he stepped onto the shoe-trying counter. He took off his old shoes, looked down at them, and felt a strange, indescribable feeling. His old shoes had been with him for so long, seemingly witnessing countless struggles and setbacks. And now, a new beginning was quietly unfolding before him.

He put on the new shoes, which felt incredibly comfortable, as if they had infused him with new energy. "This feels great," Huang Feipeng smiled, a sense of relief washing over him. Looking at his new self in the mirror, he silently encouraged himself: "This is a new beginning. The shadow of the Shadow Serpent won't linger on me for long."

"So it's decided then?" A-Qiang asked with a smile from the side.

"Okay, this is it," Huang Feipeng replied, no longer dwelling on those negative emotions, but instead feeling a sense of relief. After paying, he walked out of the store, his steps becoming increasingly firm.

"What do you plan to do about Shadow Serpent?" Ah Qiang suddenly asked, seemingly noticing a hint of determination flashing across his face.

“I need to find out Shadow Serpent’s next move. We can’t let them dominate the situation anymore.” Huang Feipeng answered decisively, thinking to himself, “Now that they’ve noticed me, I’m no longer the prey that’s hiding, but the hunter who has to take the initiative.”

"That sounds a bit dangerous." Ah Qiang said with some worry, his eyes showing concern.

“I know, but I don’t want to be passive anymore. I need to take action, I need to fight back.” Huang Feipeng’s voice was firm, and his eyes revealed a determination.

"If you need any help, just call me anytime." A-Qiang patted his shoulder, his tone earnest. "I will fully support you."

"Thank you, Qiang." Huang Feipeng smiled slightly, a warm feeling welling up inside him. Feeling his friend's support gave him more confidence. Even when facing the threat of the Shadow Serpent, he was no longer fighting alone.

"Now, where do you plan to go?" A-Qiang asked.

"Let's go find some clues and see if we can find the Shadow Serpent's whereabouts," Huang Feipeng said, taking a step forward, a firm force welling up in his heart.

Walking down the street, he could feel the lightness and confidence that his new shoes brought. Every step felt exceptionally steady, the sound of his footsteps crisp and powerful, as if telling him that all challenges could be overcome. Although the night remained dark, the gloom in his heart gradually dissipated, and the road ahead seemed to become clearer.

His mind raced back to his past encounters with Shadow Serpent, recalling the battles and confrontations they had fought. Those painful moments had now become his driving force. He understood that only by facing them, only by fighting back, could he truly find liberation.

This time, his target was a mysterious organization codenamed "Shadow." Operating in the shadows, this organization was like a wandering ghost, secretly controlling countless black market transactions, underground intelligence gathering, and illegal research activities. Shadow was like a shadow, lurking behind everyone; no one knew their ultimate purpose. Huang Feipeng had tried countless times to get close to the organization's core, but each time it was like hitting a solid wall, impossible to break through. However, tonight, he finally obtained a crucial clue—a member of Shadow was about to appear at a secret base in the city.

"Huff—" He took a deep breath, his fingers tightening around the pistol at his waist, his eyes growing sharper. The lights on the other side of the street flickered, and it seemed as if shadows were moving. Huang Feipeng silently concealed himself in the darkness, observing the place—an old warehouse, with discarded wooden crates and sheet metal piled in front of the door. Such a place was utterly ordinary, but tonight, it held the secret he had long awaited.

Just then, he heard a series of deep footsteps. Huang Feipeng quickly crouched down, blending into the shadows, and silently observed his surroundings. A tall man in a black trench coat appeared at the warehouse door. He looked around to make sure no one was following him before gently pushing open the worn iron door and slipping inside.

"Here he comes." Huang Feipeng's lips curled slightly upward as he murmured to himself. He quickly followed, maintaining a safe distance, and cautiously trailed the man into the warehouse. Each step he took was light and silent, like a cheetah moving in the night. The warehouse was dimly lit, and a faint musty smell filled the air. The man strode swiftly through rows of stacked wooden crates, heading towards the far end of the warehouse, seemingly extremely familiar with the place.

Huang Feipeng approached stealthily, his sharp gaze sweeping over everything around him. The warehouse's layout was complex, with boxes and miscellaneous items piled haphazardly, forming natural cover and barriers. He moved very quietly, trying not to make a sound. He guessed that the man before him might just be an outer member of Shadow, but perhaps he could obtain some crucial information from him.

"Don't follow." Suddenly, a cold voice came from ahead, breaking the deathly silence in the warehouse. Huang Feipeng was startled, and his eyes immediately became wary.

The man in black stopped and said coldly without turning his head, "Huang Feipeng, what do you think you can find?"

Huang Feipeng's eyes narrowed; he hadn't expected to be exposed so early. He sneered, stepped out of the shadows, and stared directly at the man's back: "It seems the Shadow's intelligence network is quite impressive. You always seem to know everything about me."

The man in black slowly turned around, a mocking smile on his lips: "We knew you were investigating us all along. This little trick is nothing to you, is it? You should know that we never leave clues easily."

Huang Feipeng's expression was calm, but his tone was icy: "No matter how well you hide, you will eventually slip up. How many people has Youying harmed, how many innocent lives have been taken away? Today, I am here to end you."

The man scoffed, his eyes filled with disdain: "End us? You're too naive. You'll never understand our plans."

The moment the words left his mouth, the warehouse lights suddenly dimmed, and a chilling atmosphere filled the air. Huang Feipeng realized something was wrong and quickly took cover behind a nearby bunker, almost instinctively drawing his pistol and cautiously scanning his surroundings. Besides the stacks of wooden crates, there seemed to be some hidden passageways in the warehouse; he vaguely sensed that he had fallen into a carefully laid trap.
