A roar erupted from Fei Peng's throat, like the growl of a beast. His heart seemed to stop for a moment, the world around him blurred, and only the SUVs rapidly approaching before him remained. Inside the car windows, the enemy's faces were clearly visible in the headlights, their smiles a mixture of sneer and mockery, seemingly waiting for him to walk right into their trap. A surge of anger welled up in Fei Peng's heart, a burning urge to tear these former brothers to shreds. He thought of the days they drank together, talked about their ideals, when they were carefree, their friendship seemingly unbreakable. Yet now, everything seemed as fragile as a bubble, chilling to the bone.

"Feipeng, do you really think you can escape?" The man in the driver's seat grinned, a hint of amusement and contempt in his eyes. His tone was like a knife, piercing Feipeng's heart. Feipeng's anger was reignited, an uncontrollable rage surging within him. He almost wanted to shout, but the words were suppressed. Anger churned within him, suffocating him.

Fei Peng clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white, and thought to himself, "I must not be easily defeated by them, I must not let these traitors see my weakness!" The determination in his eyes was like a flickering flame, dispelling the fear in his heart. He knew he had to stay calm at this moment, and no matter how desperate he felt, he could not give up.

"Stop with your useless nonsense! I just want to know, who gave you the audacity to hunt me down!" Fei Peng's voice was filled with anger, but even more so with a cold resolve. He knew he had to get the answers from his enemies to uncover the truth hidden in the darkness. Fei Peng was no longer the spirited young man in the martial arts world, but a martial artist struggling in dire straits, constantly seeking the truth.

"You want to know the truth?" The enemy's lips curled into a disdainful smile. "You don't deserve to know! You're nothing but a discarded pawn; who cares whether you live or die?"

Fei Peng felt a jolt in his heart, as if struck a heavy blow. He gritted his teeth, barely able to suppress the anger and humiliation within him. Just as that man had said, he was indeed a discarded pawn, but he would not submit to this. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, "I am not a pawn, I am Huang Fei Peng, and no one can decide my fate!"

Just then, car headlights flashed again in the distance, and several vehicles sped towards them with a roar of engines, creating a sense of urgency. Fei Peng no longer hesitated; a bold idea flashed through his mind. He had to find an opportunity to retaliate and could not let these traitors succeed. He knew that if he allowed them to continue their pursuit, only death awaited him.

"We can't stay here any longer!" Fei Peng said in a deep voice, his mind racing as he calculated an escape route. He needed to be rational and decisive; he couldn't let emotions cloud his judgment. The cars behind him were hurtling towards him like a whirlwind. Fei Peng quickly rehearsed possible battle scenarios in his mind. Although he faced numerous opponents, he possessed unparalleled martial arts skills. If he could seize the opportunity to counterattack, he might have a chance to escape.

"Trying to escape?" the enemy sneered. "No way!"

Fei Peng ignored the provocation, his mind already made up. He dashed towards the alleyway, using his agility to swiftly dodge the enemy's attacks. A powerful conviction flickered within him—he had to survive, find the truth, and expose the conspiracies hidden in the darkness.

As Fei Peng fled into the alley, his figure vanished like a ghost, yet a vague unease lingered in his heart. In an instant, the darkness and silence of the alley enveloped him, the damp air almost suffocating him. Fei Peng tried to calm himself, but the mocking voices of his enemies still echoed in his ears, each word a reminder that past trust and betrayal tore at his heart like sharp blades.

"I must find out who's pulling the strings behind all this!" Fei Peng vowed silently, determined not to continue his reckless pursuit. He thought of the faces of his former brothers, and his heart ached again. They had fought together, shared their dreams, but now they were enemies chasing each other.

Feipeng moved quickly through the alley, trying to find a safe place. Vague clues began to flash through his mind, and he kept trying to figure out how it all had started. A few months ago, that familiar face suddenly disappeared, and he had unknowingly been drawn into this enormous vortex.

Just as he continued to ponder, he heard hurried footsteps. He immediately became alert, hiding in a dark corner and listening intently. Several enemies quickly entered the alley, their faces grim, talking in hushed tones. Fei Peng held his breath, trying not to make a sound, silently praying that they wouldn't discover him.

"We can't let him escape! We must capture him this time!" A voice, filled with anxiety, clearly belonged to the enemy leader. His deep, imposing voice made Fei Peng's heart pound. He knew time was of the essence; he had to act quickly.

“Don’t you think we’re taking too much risk? If Feipeng really manages to retaliate, wouldn’t we be in even bigger trouble?” Another voice hesitated, tinged with unease. Feipeng silently agreed; indeed, the situation was no longer safe for them.

"No matter what, the mission must be completed today! Feipeng cannot leave alive!" The leader's voice rang out again, filled with determination and ruthlessness. Feipeng was startled, realizing that the danger he faced was even closer. He had to find a chance to leave this alley as soon as possible.

He observed silently from the shadows, quickly calculating his next move. The enemy seemed unaware of his presence. Fei Peng slowly adjusted his breathing, waiting for the right moment. Just as he was about to leap out, a small sound suddenly broke the silence of the alley, making his heart tighten.

"Feipeng!" The call was like a thunderclap, instantly exploding in his ears. Feipeng froze, utterly astonished, and quickly looked in the direction of the sound, only to see a figure slowly walking towards him in the darkness. It was Xiaoxue, the woman who had shared joys and sorrows with him. Although they hadn't seen each other for a long time, her familiar face made Feipeng feel an overwhelming sense of warmth.

"Xiaoxue, what are you doing here?" A warm feeling instantly welled up in Feipeng's heart, as if he had found long-lost light in the darkness. However, this was followed by a deeper worry. He feared that Xiaoxue's appearance would put her in danger.
