I have Sharingan in another world

Chapter 2: Awakening Again

"Sigh," Zhou Shu sighed, preparing to carry the boulder around Wang Ba.

"Trash, who gave you permission to leave?" Wang Ba blocked Zhou Shu's path, staring at Zhou Shu and coldly laughing, "If you serve your brother Wang well today, I'll let you pass. See my shoes? Wipe them clean."

Even with Zhou Shu's good temper, he couldn't withstand Wang Ba's provocation. Zhou Shu was not one to be easily bullied, and now that Wang Ba had ridden so arrogantly, Zhou Shu could no longer suppress his anger.

Just as Zhou Shu was about to put down the boulder, a girl dressed in green shouted, "Such arrogance! Let's see how you're going to teach my brother a lesson today!"

The newcomer was Zhou Qing'er, the daughter of the city lord of Qingye City. When Wang Ba saw that it was Zhou Qing'er, he didn't even look in the direction of the girl. Instead, he stared straight at Zhou Shu and sneered, "So you're nothing but a piece of trash hiding under a woman's skirt!"

Upon hearing this, Zhou Qing'er was furious: "You!" She unleashed a surge of spiritual energy and was about to attack.

"Qing'er, forget it."

Zhou Shu put down the boulder, the loud sound echoing throughout the training ground. He cupped his hands in thanks towards the blue-clad youth and smiled, "Thank you for your help earlier."

Seeing this, Li Yehua smiled helplessly and said, "I wasn't much of a help either. No wonder it's a lawless place. In the end, strength is paramount, and the strong are respected."

"Brother, are you alright?" Zhou Qing'er looked at Zhou Shu with a worried expression.

Zhou Shu waved his hand and said, "It's nothing."

"That Wang Ba, we need to get Dad to teach him a lesson. He's getting more and more arrogant just because his grandfather is the captain of the law enforcement team," Zhou Qing'er said angrily.

"Forget it, don't bother your uncle. Why do you always bother your uncle with children's matters?" Zhou Shu shook his head and smiled.

"Hmph, you're only a year older than me, why are you talking like an old man? I'm ignoring you!" Zhou Qing'er said angrily, "I'm just concerned about you, and you don't even appreciate it."

"Okay, okay, Qing'er, come to my place for lunch today. I'll cook for you as an apology, okay?" Zhou Shu quickly begged for forgiveness.

“That’s pretty much it”

Zhou Shu's residence was quiet and secluded, surrounded by pine trees with old trunks and gnarled roots and leaves. In the backyard, Zhou Shu had a small plot of land specifically for growing vegetables.

Zhou Shu, a transmigrator, was a foodie in his previous life and an excellent cook. Having come to this world and seen all the so-called delicacies, his palate was already too picky to stomach anything else.

Although he was a transmigrator, he genuinely liked his adopted younger sister. Zhou Shu could sense that Zhou Qing'er's concern for him was sincere, and in this strange world, having someone who truly cared for him was something Zhou Shu cherished.

Lunch was simple: beef and potatoes, tomato and eggs, and a simple vegetable and tofu soup. The brother and sister enjoyed it very much.

"Ah, it feels so good to be full!" Zhou Qing'er patted her round little belly and laughed, "Brother, your cooking is so delicious! Can I come here every day from now on?"

"No, this isn't your free cafeteria," Zhou Shu refused without hesitation.

This girl loves to take advantage of opportunities; if you agree to her request, she'll move in with you right away.

"Brother, what's wrong with your body? Father has already examined your body and found that the injuries you suffered back then are gone. Moreover, your current physical strength is far superior to mine without the power of your bloodline. But why has your bloodline power dissipated for no reason?" Zhou Qing'er looked at Zhou Shu with a worried expression.

Upon hearing this, Zhou Shu also fell silent.

"Brother, I'm going to study at Luo Shen Academy next year. I want to be with you..." Zhou Qing'er realized she had said the wrong thing before she could finish her sentence.

“Qing’er, you’re old enough to go to Luo Shen Academy to study,” Zhou Shu said with a bitter expression. “But my bloodline power has already dissipated, and there’s nothing I can do about it unless I awaken it again?”

Zhou Qing'er was stunned for a moment, then hurriedly said, "Impossible, Brother Zhou Shu! If you had awakened a low-grade bloodline the first time, you could have tried again, but you directly awakened a high-grade one. If you forcefully awaken it, you definitely won't be able to withstand the power of the dragon blood and your meridians will be burned!"

"What if it succeeds?" Zhou Shu murmured.

"Brother Zhou Shu, this can't possibly succeed!" Zhou Qing'er pleaded, almost in tears. "If it could succeed, how could there be so many people whose bloodline power hasn't been awakened?"

“That’s right! Others who haven’t awakened their bloodline power usually don’t have a precedent of their bloodline power collapsing. Maybe it will be fine if I awaken my bloodline power again.” Zhou Shu smiled, his face flushed, as if he had been injected with chicken blood. “Sister Qing’er, please help me with this.”

"You'll have to ask Father about that," Zhou Qing'er shook her head vigorously, refusing to agree.

"Sigh! Forget it, I'm just a useless piece of trash. There's no point in living anymore, I might as well die." Zhou Shu's face was full of despair.

After saying that, he stood up shakily to prepare to clear the dishes, looking much older than before. Zhou Shu picked up the dishes and prepared to go back to his room. Whether it was her imagination or not, Zhou Qing'er felt that he was very lonely and pitiful.

Looking at Zhou Shu's back, Zhou Qing'er recalled that in the first year after his bloodline power collapsed, Zhou Shu was like a dead man, lifeless. It was only in the last year that he began to cultivate again. Perhaps people like Brother Zhou Shu are born to stand at the peak.

They would rather die than prolong their lives in misery.

"Brother Zhou Shu," Zhou Qing'er called out to Zhou Shu, stopping him.

Zhou Shu stopped in his tracks, forcing back a laugh, and asked in a hoarse voice, "What is it?"

"I'll go to Father to get the dragon blood needed for awakening. You go directly to the Awakening Tower," Zhou Qing'er said, as if she had made up her mind. "Brother Zhou Shu, you must succeed!"

Zhou Shu nodded slowly without turning around.

Zhou Qing'er turned and left Zhou Shu's residence. After Zhou Qing'er left, Zhou Shu said with a sigh, "The girls in this world are so easy to fool. If girls in my previous life were all this easy to fool, I wouldn't be still a virgin when I die!"

Unable to contain his excitement, Zhou Shu didn't know if this awakening would be successful. But there would always be a chance. In his previous life, he had died without living a fulfilling life, so in this life, even if there was only the slightest chance, Zhou Shu would try his best.

Aoba City truly lives up to its reputation as a super city that rivaled the imperial city in its heyday. Although it has fallen into disrepair and many parts have been destroyed, it still looks magnificent and grand.

There are actually eight Awakening Towers in Qingye City, but only the one in the southeast corner of the inner city is still in use; the others have been destroyed.

For a thousand years, this Awakening Tower has stood like a pillar reaching into the sky. The sculptures carved on the tower are lifelike, and the array runes engraved on it are like heavenly scripture to Zhou Shu, completely incomprehensible to him.

The girl in the blue dress had red eyes, as if she had just been crying.

The boy stepped forward, patted her head, and smiled, "Don't worry, it's alright."
