After seeing the group off, Zhou Yang closed the door and returned home.

Gu Yaoyao didn't know when she woke up, but breakfast had to be made now. He and Wandou were both hungry, so he just needed to make a little extra to give Yaoyao room.

However, before making breakfast, he made peas' breakfast first. He didn't make it too complicated; he just made a pot of chicken and vegetable rice.

After solving the breakfast problem for the peas, Zhou Yang started making breakfast for herself and Gu Yaoyao. However, considering that Gu Yaoyao was still a child, she made a few more different dishes today.

He planned to check on Gu Yaoyao first. If she was awake, he would eat with her; if she wasn't, he would give her a small portion to put away.

As soon as I entered, I saw Gu Yaoyao sitting on the bed, looking around cautiously with a puzzled expression. She had obviously just woken up and was frightened to find herself in an unfamiliar environment. After breakfast, Zhou Yang took Gu Yaoyao to the living room.

"Yaoyao, your brother forgot to bring the tablet with him. I don't have any other cartoons here, but I have a lot of movies. Do you want to watch them?"

Gu Yaoyao shook her head, clearly not very interested.

Considering that Gu Yaoyao might not like green peppers, I made an extra cola chicken wing.

Of course, peas' dog food wasn't neglected either.

When Zhou Yang returned to the living room after finishing everything, he saw Gu Yaoyao lying on Wandou's body, her little hands wrapped around the dog's neck, talking about something and smiling brightly.

"Yaoyao, let's wash our hands and eat! Pea, come and eat with us too."

Gu Yaoyao obediently stood up, followed Zhou Yang to the restroom to wash her hands, and then obediently sat down in the restaurant.

Gu Yaoyao glanced at Zhou Yang, then at the stuffed green peppers on her chopsticks, and hesitated. She didn't actually like stir-fried green peppers; she thought the taste was strange, and most of them were spicy, which she didn't like.

But this green pepper looks a little different. It's a big circle with wrinkled skin, and Little Zhou said it's not spicy, but sweet, which makes her a bit conflicted.

Seeing Gu Yaoyao's hesitation, Zhou Yang said directly, "How about we try a bite first? If it's good, we'll eat it; if it's not, we won't."

After hearing Zhou Yang's words, Gu Yaoyao nodded and opened her mouth to let Zhou Yang feed her a bite of stuffed green peppers.

The soft green pepper skin sandwiches a tender meat filling, and it's not spicy at all; in fact, it has a slightly sweet aftertaste.

Zhou Yang smiled and put the stuffed green pepper, which he had only taken a bite of, into Gu Yaoyao's rice bowl, then picked up two more pieces and placed them on a small plate to the side.

Worried that Gu Yaoyao might get thirsty during the meal, he also ladled out a bowl of meatball soup for her.

Gu Yaoyao immediately picked up a small spoon and started eating. She took a bite of stuffed green pepper, a bite of rice, and occasionally drank a sip of meatball soup. In a few moments, she finished off half a bowl of rice.

Seeing that Gu Yaoyao had finished eating, Zhou Yang picked up a few more pieces of cola chicken wings and put them over.

This was clearly more popular than stuffed green peppers; the little girl started eating it on her own without Zhou Yang even having to coax her. Later, perhaps feeling like she couldn't get any meat out of her mouth, she simply started eating with her hands, quickly turning her face into a mess of bits of food.

In the end, Gu Yaoyao not only finished the remaining rice, but also almost cleaned out the cola chicken wings.

It was Zhou Yang who noticed that Gu Yaoyao's tummy was already bulging and was afraid that she would overeat, so he stopped her, wiped her face and hands clean, washed a plate of fruit, and asked Wandou to accompany her to the living room to digest her food before he finished the rest.

After he finished cleaning up the restaurant and kitchen, he went outside and saw Gu Yaoyao already riding on Pea's back, while Pea was leisurely strolling around the living room with the human cub.

This scene amused Zhou Yang.

Indeed, cats and dogs are the best for taking care of children.
