After discussing the space, Zhou Yang felt much more relaxed. He would no longer have to sneak around to take things from the space.

Next, the group began to act according to Zhou Yang's plan. Zhou Yang also took out four cans of gasoline from his spatial storage and handed them to Chai Jin and Yan Fei.

The group first tied a rope to the iron bolt on the gate, then used a row of wooden supports to create a buffer zone, securing it with ropes and iron plates. After completing the preparations, they pulled the rope forcefully, opening the iron bolt on the gate.

Without the iron bolts, the gate immediately opened under the pressure of the zombies outside, and countless zombies rushed in.

In just a short while, the buffer zone was already packed with zombies.

Seeing that another surge of zombies could potentially breach the buffer zone, Zhou Yang quickly aimed at the zombies and began firing. Xu Zhiyi, Chai Jin, Yan Fei, and Wandou also hurriedly began dealing with the zombies.

Taking advantage of the zombies being temporarily restrained, Lu Xingye climbed to a high place and began to unleash his water-based superpowers with all his might. Large amounts of water gushed out from his hands, drenching a large group of zombies in front of him.

Once Lu Xingye had been thoroughly watered, Shen Zechuan released a huge electric net and threw it towards the pile of zombies.

In an instant, large swarms of zombies convulsed and collapsed amidst crackling electric shocks, spreading all the way to the gate.

"Now, hurry up!"

Seeing that the area at the doorway had been cleared by the zombies that had been electrocuted and fallen, Zhou Yang hurriedly shouted to Chai Jin and Yan Fei.

"Ok!"

Chai Jin and Yan Fei didn't hesitate. They grabbed a bucket of oil in each hand and rushed out, running directly towards the outer staircases of the factory buildings on both sides.

"Provide them with cover, don't let the zombies follow."

The others bypassed the pile of zombies that were temporarily paralyzed by lightning and rushed outside, splitting into two groups to guard the stairwell.

Zhou Yang, along with Wandou and Xu Zhiyi, guarded one side, while Shen Zechuan and Lu Xingye guarded the other side.

Having successfully reached the rooftop, Chai Jin and Yan Fei didn't dare delay. They immediately grabbed gasoline and poured it down on the zombies below, trying to make sure everyone got some. They threw their empty buckets into the zombie horde and then rushed off to find the others.

Seeing the two of them come down, Zhou Yang immediately gestured with his chin to Wandou and Xu Zhiyi: "Next, it's up to you and Wandou to set fire to these zombies and burn them to death!"

Xu Zhiyi nodded and tossed a large fireball into the midst of the zombies. Pea followed suit, spitting several fireballs into the horde of zombies in front of her.

The weather was already hot and dry, and with the added fuel of gasoline, the entire zombie army was ignited in just a few seconds.

While most of the zombies were too engulfed by the flames to care about them, the group quickly retreated back to the warehouse. After dealing with the remaining zombies inside, they grabbed a tray of solar panels and began their retreat.

While retreating, they killed the zombies that escaped from the fire.

Fortunately, most of the zombies were burned to skeletons, and only about a hundred escaped. The six men and one dog retreated and fought their way back to the wall, by which time there were very few zombies left.

After shooting the last zombie, Zhou Yang put away the crossbow with trembling hands. He wasn't afraid; rather, his nerves had been on edge the whole time, and he had unconsciously used too much force when firing the crossbow. When he suddenly relaxed, his arm started to protest uncontrollably.

Since all the zombies had been dealt with, it felt like a waste to only take a few boxes of goods, so the group ended up looting the warehouse completely, filling almost both trucks to capacity, leaving only two or three square meters of space.

But it's enough to carry some odds and ends back home.

Thinking that someone must have invested in opening a small supermarket in such a large development zone, the group wandered around the zone again and, sure enough, found a small supermarket at each end.

After collecting food for a while, none of them needed rice or noodles, so they didn't take any of those. They only took the various tissues and toilet paper.

Oh, Zhou Yang also took all the popsicles and ice cream from the freezer, along with a huge pile of room-temperature crushed ice. Anyway, the power's going to go out soon, so leaving these popsicles and stuff around would be a waste. Crushed ice is a good thing; it won't be replaced at room temperature, and it can be frozen to replace popsicles. He craved this little thing terribly when he had internal heat in his previous life.

After leaving the development zone, at Lu Xingye's insistence, Yan Fei used navigation to find a shop selling improved seeds.

Fortunately, it wasn't far away, just a few kilometers away near an agricultural station base.

Within minutes, we arrived at our destination following the navigation.

This is an agricultural research base, and many business owners who have switched to agriculture have bought land here to grow crops. Therefore, this seed shop not only has high-quality seeds, but also a complete range of seeds for various vegetables, fruits and flowers.

This saved the group a lot of effort, as they selected some high-quality seeds and vegetable and fruit seeds to pack and take away.

With the seeds in hand, it's finally time to head home.

The six people and one dog returned to the villa, weary from their journey.

With amusement, Zhou Yang shook his head and went back to the kitchen, bringing out the bowls and chopsticks that the group would need. As soon as he had set them out, the group came down one after another.

The meal was devoured in no time by the group.

After dinner, the group discussed how to allocate the generators.

Shen Zechuan suggested keeping one unit in the villa and letting Zhou Yang take the other, but Zhou Yang refused.

“I have a solar power generator set installed at home, which generates enough electricity for me alone. Adding a diesel generator would not be very useful. Besides, diesel generators are too noisy, which is not suitable for me. If there is a power outage, the whole building will know that I have a generator, and I will easily become a target.”
