Honeymoon Anecdotes (Part Two)

It was just the first stop of their honeymoon trip, and Ji Han and his wife stayed in Y country for more than three months. When they arrived, the summer was in full swing, but when they left, the autumn wind was already getting cool.

Since they were going to travel the world anyway, the two decided to choose their next destination by throwing darts while blindfolded. Luckily, the dart hit Xia Country, and they could go home. The only slight problem was that Xia Country was vast and had so many places to visit. If they were to travel around the entire country, it would definitely take at least a year and a half to finish.

Since there was still plenty of time before the Chinese New Year, Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu discussed it and decided to buy a modified luxury RV in Y country at a high price, thus beginning their cross-border road trip home.

Having gained extensive experience in RV living during their post-apocalyptic life, Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu adapted to this daily life on the road very quickly, and even became somewhat reluctant to leave.

The advantage of driving is that you can stop whenever you want. Along the way, Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu will stop to explore any scenery or city that interests them, eat, drink, take photos, and finally buy and mail a batch of local specialties.

To be honest, when they were struggling in City B, their families didn't even need to call them. They could roughly figure out Ji Han and his team's route and progress just by looking at the addresses where they received packages every day.

Thanks to their exceptionally high intelligence and prior experience in the virtual world, Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu encountered almost no language barriers along the way. In fact, many people gave them a thumbs up because of their authentic foreign language accents.

Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu's original plan was to start from Country Y, pass through more than 20 countries including Country F, BLS, Country D, ADL, XL, and the five Central Asian countries, and finally arrive at City B in Xia Country.

The reason the two did not choose the northward route was mainly because the border with Country E was not very stable recently. They were afraid that they might accidentally wander into a war zone, since they had no space now and even the best skills could not withstand the bombardment of artillery.

However, to Ji Han's surprise, the two of them dodged the guns and cannons of the new era but not the old-fashioned staged accidents.

It was nearing the New Year, and Ji Han and his friends' road trip was coming to an end. They had originally planned to enter the country from the Tibetan side and drive all the way back to City B. However, before they even reached the border, they were intercepted by a group of people in a neighboring small country.

Those people were filthy and dressed in tattered clothes, looking malnourished. They hid on both sides of the road, and when they saw Ji Han and his companion's car coming, they rushed up and lay down on the road without caring whether they would be injured.

Of course, Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu later learned that the reason why they were so fearless in rushing forward was simply because someone behind the crowd was watching them with a gun. If they found any of them who were slow to run, the other party would shoot them.

This wasn't a virtual world after all. When Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu saw the crowd lying on the ground, their first instinct was to slam on the brakes. By the time they realized what was happening and tried to accelerate again, it was too late.

Following the "refugees" lying on the ground, another group of people dragged various roadblocks and blocked the middle of the road. Ji Han and his companions had bought their car in a bit of a rush. Although the original owner had probably made some modifications, the car body couldn't be invincible or leap over mountains and rivers. As a result, Ji Han and Shi Shaoyu were spectacularly blocked halfway through the road.
