Erkang and his spies sped along and finally arrived at Youyue Ridge. Youyue Ridge was a steep and treacherous place, with dense forests and a mysterious and eerie atmosphere.

"Everyone be careful, there's something eerie about this place," Er Kang whispered, his eyes scanning the surroundings warily.

The spies nodded slightly and cautiously followed Er Kang along the winding mountain path. Suddenly, a faint sound came from ahead, as if people were talking in hushed tones.

Er Kang gestured for everyone to stop, then silently approached the source of the sound. Through the dense foliage, they saw a group of men in black gathered together, seemingly discussing something important.

"The leader has been captured. Will our plans be affected?" a man in black asked worriedly.

"Hmph! Don't worry, the leader has a backup plan. The 'Youyue Ridge' operation will proceed as planned. As long as we can accomplish this, we can still control the overall situation," another man in black said viciously.

“But what if the imperial court finds out?” another man in black said.

"What's there to be afraid of! The terrain here is complicated, they won't be able to find us. Even if they do come, we have enough manpower to deal with them." The leader of the men in black sneered.

Er Kang and the others listened with a chill in their hearts; it seemed that the actions of Youyue Ridge were indeed not simple.

"What do we do now?" one of the undercover agents asked in a low voice.

Erkang pondered for a moment and said, "Continue to follow them and see what they're up to. We mustn't alert them."

The group cautiously followed the man in black, passing through a dense forest and arriving at a secluded valley. In the valley, an ancient building came into view, surrounded by various strange symbols and markings.

"Where is this place? It looks very eerie," one of the undercover agents said softly.

"I don't know, but it's definitely related to the Shadow Pavilion's conspiracy," Er Kang said.

Just then, the man in black entered the ancient building. Er Kang and the others quietly approached, and as soon as they reached the door, they heard a commotion coming from inside.

"Quickly, prepare the items and arrange them according to the formation's positions."

"Yes, leader!"

Erkang and the others exchanged glances and decided to risk going in to find out what was going on. They cautiously entered the building and found it filled with all sorts of strange and unusual objects. In the center was a huge circular stone platform, which was covered with Bagua (Eight Trigrams) patterns.

"Could this be the formation related to the Shadow Pavilion's conspiracy?" Er Kang wondered to himself.

Just as they were preparing to investigate further, they suddenly heard a loud shout: "Who goes there? How dare you trespass!"

It turned out that the men in black had discovered them. Instantly, a group of men in black, armed with weapons, surrounded Er Kang and the others.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" the leader of the men in black asked angrily.

Er Kang remained calm and said, "We were just passing through this place and accidentally got lost."

"Hmph! There are no passersby in Youyue Ridge! You are clearly spies sent by the imperial court!" the man in black sneered.

"Now that you've discovered us, there's no point in hiding anything." Erkang simply drew his sword. "I was sent by the imperial court. Your Shadow Pavilion has committed countless evils; today is your end!"

"Just you few? You're simply overestimating yourselves!" The man in black waved his hand, and the rest of the men in black immediately surrounded him.

Undeterred, Erkang and his companions engaged in a fierce battle with the men in black. Erkang's martial arts were superb, his swordplay sharp and deadly, making it difficult for the men in black to get close for a time. However, the men in black outnumbered them and gradually forced Erkang and his group into a predicament.

"Everyone be careful, we can't fall here!" Er Kang shouted as he struggled to hold off the enemy.

Just as the battle reached a stalemate, one of the spies was unfortunately wounded and fell to the ground. Er Kang, in his haste, lost focus and was also slashed on the arm by the man in black.

"Erkang!" The other spies were extremely anxious upon seeing this.

"Never mind me, keep fighting!" Er Kang gritted his teeth and continued to fight the man in black.

At this moment, in the palace, Hongli and Xiaoyanzi were anxiously waiting for news from Erkang.

"Your Majesty, Erkang has been gone for so long, why haven't we heard any news yet? Could something have happened to him?" Xiao Yanzi said anxiously.

"Little Swallow, don't worry. Erkang is very skilled and will definitely be able to complete the mission smoothly." Although Hongli comforted Little Swallow, he was also a little worried in his heart.

"I hope so. I won't have a moment's peace until the Shadow Pavilion issue is resolved," Little Swallow said.

Just then, Su Peisheng hurriedly walked in, bowed, and said, "Your Majesty, Your Majesty the Empress, the people in charge of investigating the source of Shadow Pavilion's finances have sent word that Shadow Pavilion's funds seem to be related to a business called 'Ruifeng Money Shop'."

“Ruifeng Money Shop? I’ve never heard of it.” Hongli said, frowning.

"Your Majesty, I think we can send someone to investigate this money exchange. Perhaps we can find more clues about the Shadow Pavilion there," Xiao Yanzi said.

“Yes, you’re right. Su Peisheng, immediately arrange for reliable people to go to Ruifeng Bank and secretly investigate their accounts and the forces behind them,” Hongli said.

"Yes, Your Majesty!" Su Peisheng accepted the order and left.

However, Er Kang's battle at Youyue Ridge is becoming increasingly difficult. Will they be able to break through the encirclement? What secrets does Ruifeng Money Shop hold? How will Hongli, Xiaoyanzi, and the others deal with this series of new challenges? Everything remains unknown...
