Little Swallow looked around curiously and said to Hongli, "Your Highness, the flute music is so ethereal, could there be a master here?"

Hongli frowned slightly and cautiously replied, "My dear consort, do not approach lightly. Everything is unknown in this desolate valley. Be careful of traps."

Hongzhou waved his hand dismissively: "Fourth Brother, what are you afraid of? Maybe they're someone who can help us. We've had the worst luck on this trip, it's about time for some good fortune to come our way!"

The primary consort of the Fucha clan said softly, "Your Highness, Prince He, it would be best to be careful. We can't afford any more trouble now."

The group slowly made their way in the direction of the flute music, and soon came to a bamboo grove from which the music was emanating. Entering the grove, they saw a young man in white robes leisurely playing the flute; his features were refined, and his demeanor was otherworldly.

The young man in white stopped playing, looked at the crowd, and smiled, saying, "It is fate that you have come all here despite the hardships."

Little Swallow asked, "Young master, who are you? Why are you playing the flute here?"

The young man in white smiled and said, "I am merely a passerby in this valley. I come here often because I love this tranquil place. You all seem to be in a hurry, as if you have lost your way?"

Hongli clasped his hands in a respectful greeting: "Young Master, we wish to return to the palace, but we have unfortunately lost our way here. We hope that you can give us some guidance."

The young man in white gently shook his head: "The terrain of this valley is complicated, and it won't be easy to get out. However, I do know a small path, but..."

Hongzhou pressed on eagerly, "But what? Young master, please speak freely!"

The young man in white glanced at Hongzhou and said slowly, "There is a dangerous shoal along that path, with a rapid current."

Little Swallow's eyes were determined: "No matter how dangerous it is, we have to try. It's better than being trapped in this valley."

Consort Fucha, the primary consort, said with some worry: "Your Highness, this is too risky. What if something goes wrong..."

Hongli pondered for a moment and said, "Young master, please tell us where the path is. We would be extremely grateful."

The young man in white nodded and led everyone to the entrance of the path: "Go in from here and keep going straight, and you will see the dangerous shoal. Please be careful."

The group followed the path and indeed came upon a treacherous shoal. The river was surging and the roar of the waves was deafening.

Hongzhou looked at the river and gasped, "How are we going to get across?"

Little Swallow looked around and spotted some vines by the river: "Your Highness, we can use those vines to try and swing across."

Hongli pondered for a moment: "This plan is risky, but it is worth a try. I will go over first and see if it is feasible."

Hongli grabbed the vine, swung with all his might, and successfully reached the other side. Then, he secured the vine and called out, "My beloved concubines, come over here, I'll help you from here."

Little Swallow took a deep breath and swam across like Hongli, but she almost fell into the river because she didn't have enough strength. Fortunately, Hongli pulled her back in time.

With Hongzhou's help, Consort Fucha successfully navigated the treacherous waters.

As we continued onward, the sky gradually darkened.

Hongzhou complained, "When will we ever get out of this godforsaken place!"

Little Swallow comforted him, "Prince He, don't be discouraged. We've come this far, it'll be over soon."

Suddenly, a cave appeared ahead.

Little Swallow's eyes lit up: "Your Highness, we can rest in the cave for the night and continue our journey tomorrow."

The group entered the cave and discovered some strange murals inside.

Little Swallow leaned closer to examine them: "These murals seem to be telling some story. Could they be related to the murals in the Shadow Pavilion?"

Hongli examined it carefully: "It looks quite old; it might actually hold some clues."

Hongzhou said impatiently, "Oh, whatever the murals are, I just want to get some sleep."

Fucha's primary consort said, "Prince He, don't rush to sleep. This mural might be useful to us."

Just then, a sinister laugh came from outside the cave: "Do you think you can leave so easily?"

Everyone was startled and quickly became alert.

Little Swallow asked loudly, "Who? Who's playing tricks outside?"

A dark figure slowly entered the cave; it was none other than the former Minister of Rites.

The Minister of Rites sneered, "Prince Bao, your death is nigh!"

Hongli roared, "You treacherous villain, how dare you come here! Today is your end!"

Tensions instantly rose, and battle seemed imminent. Could Xiao Yanzi and Hongli once again defeat the enemy and return to the palace safely? And what secrets did the murals in the cave hold? The political landscape of the palace remained turbulent and unpredictable; what fate awaited them in this mysterious valley?
