When observing mountains and water, one should first find a place with high elevation to get a comprehensive view of the feng shui and make it easier to identify problems.

It just so happens that I brought a Bagua compass with me in the car when I came out this time.

Chen Yibai went back to the car to get the compass, and then followed a small path to the summit.

Although no one has been here for a long time, the summit is bare, forming a stark contrast with the lush green vegetation opposite.

Chen Yibai even noticed that the opposite mountain peaks were teeming with seabirds and full of life, while here, it was desolate and not a single bird could be seen.

This is a typical barren and ominous place where nothing grows and nothing dwells.

As for how this ominous place was formed, there are two possibilities.

First, as mentioned before, this place has been tampered with by a feng shui master.

Secondly, land development has disrupted the feng shui of this area.

However, after Chen Yibai surveyed the entire scene and studied it carefully for a long time, he could not see anything unusual with the naked eye.

Not only did I not notice anything unusual, but the location of the villa area was also very well chosen, sitting right at the feng shui point of "Azure Dragon Entering the Sea". Whether it was the size, orientation, or the layout of the villas, there were no problems at all. It was obvious that a feng shui master had been consulted at the beginning of the design.

In fact, many large enterprises will specifically consult a feng shui master to "take the lead" before starting construction.

Therefore, the second possibility is ruled out: the feng shui of the area was not disrupted by the developer's construction.

That leaves only one possibility: the place has indeed been tampered with by a feng shui master.

As for why they did that.

Many people might immediately think of 'severing the dragon vein'!

At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, in order to ensure the eternal stability of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang sent Liu Bowen to sever the dragon veins in various places to prevent other true dragon emperors from appearing and threatening his rule.

According to popular legend, Liu Bowen led a dragon-fighting team and used various methods to sever countless dragon veins, large and small, throughout the country.

However, the current situation does not fall under the category of severing the dragon vein.

Because cutting off the dragon vein requires disturbing the earth, anyone with a basic understanding of feng shui can easily tell from the ground.

Therefore, the feng shui layout here was not manipulated from above, but from below.

This is why the feng shui master who came to assess the situation didn't see the problem.

Let alone ordinary feng shui masters, even Chen Yibai, if he didn't know the true nature of this abandoned project, wouldn't have been able to tell that something had been tampered with underneath.

In Feng Shui, this is also called "cutting the earth dragon"!

The so-called "slaying the earth dragon" means that there is also energy underground, which is called "earth energy" or "energy vein".

Special earth energy is called 'earth dragon energy' or 'earth dragon vein'.

However, if a Feng Shui master accurately grasps the key points of the earth's energy and secretly buries something, it will block the earth's energy and have a great impact, thus turning a Feng Shui treasure land into an inauspicious place!

In folk tradition, some malicious feng shui masters will secretly bury peach tree roots, stone rollers, or other evil objects under the foundation of a house that someone is preparing to build, in order to bring misfortune to that family.

The meanings here are actually quite similar.

Therefore, if we want to turn this auspicious place around, we need to find the energy flow nodes that have been manipulated.

But while it sounds simple, truly finding this manipulated energy flow node requires a profound understanding and mastery of Feng Shui.

Otherwise, even if you dug up the entire Azure Dragon Peak three feet deep, you still wouldn't be able to find it.

This is why such a great housing development has been left unfinished for so many years.

However, for Chen Yibai, the problem shouldn't be too big.

Finding the problem with a feng shui arrangement is like seeking medical advice; the first step is to "take the pulse"!

Chen Yibai took out a feng shui compass and studied it carefully for a while.

By comparing the feng shui layout here, we can first locate the location of the earth's energy veins.

The essential energy of the earth's veins is concentrated on the dragon's spine. It's midday now, and the sun is blazing, but a chilling wind is blowing along the ridge.

After circling around the ridge.

Chen Yibai stopped beside a tree root.

The tree roots are very thick, indicating it was cut down some years ago. Several dark green shoots have sprouted from the side of the roots. Judging from the tree rings, it must be at least several hundred years old.

Naturally growing locust trees are rarely seen on these mountain ridges.

Chen Yibai seemed to have thought of something, and then pinched some soil from next to the tree root. He first rubbed it in his palm, then smelled it under his nose, and finally put it in his mouth to taste it.

This is the fastest and most advanced soil identification technique.

There are rumors that expert tomb raiders only need to use a Luoyang shovel to take a cup of soil, look at it, rub it, and smell it to determine whether it is raw or cooked soil, whether there is a tomb or not, and can even pinpoint the age of the ancient tomb below.

However, this method requires carrying a Luoyang shovel with you, which is too conspicuous.

Chen Yibai's method doesn't require using a Luoyang shovel to probe the soil; he simply grabs a handful of soil from the ground and, importantly, puts it in his mouth to taste it.

The soil had a salty, fishy smell!

There's a tomb under the roots of this locust tree!

"Pooh……"

Chen Yibai looked at the locust tree roots in front of him and spat out a mouthful of saliva.

It seems I was right after all.

This location is a crucial node for the earth's energy, and it has been tampered with. However, instead of burying something underneath, someone buried a tomb there.

"Ruthless! This person is truly ruthless!"

Chen Yibai squinted and looked at the surrounding mountains and terrain. This place was not actually an excellent feng shui location, but it was located at a node of the earth's vein energy, which could block the earth's vein energy.

If others are unaware, building a tomb or house on a nearby auspicious feng shui site can secretly steal their luck!

For example, the unfinished buildings in that villa area became offerings to the owner of the tomb below, and their luck was stolen, resulting in frequent disasters and calamities.

If we were to build and live there against our will, who knows how many people would have their luck stolen and die in disaster.

So building the tomb here isn't about creating a favorable atmosphere; it's about stealing someone else's luck. What a ruthless person!

As for why it wasn't built on auspicious feng shui sites, it must be because the site would be too conspicuous, and tomb raiders would be worried that it would be targeted for looting.

But if it were built here, it would be completely different; it would be virtually impossible for tomb raiders to come here to search for tombs.

Even Chen Yibai only found this place by chance while searching for the 'root cause' of the feng shui problem.

So the tomb owner here is not only ruthless, but also a silver-coin tycoon!
