(Come on, everyone, let's all gather for a stroll around the park!! Today, we're treating you all to a walk in the garden, hehehe~~)

Jie Qi felt that ever since the main courtyard of the family head had this protective shield, he had been demoted from the secretary and assistant who followed the family head in and out to a porter.

Although my previous job as a secretary involved things like tomb raiding and firing guns, I mostly did the work of a cultured person...

For example, answering and making phone calls, arranging schedules, chairing meetings, extracting confessions through torture, and dealing with traitors...

Wait... something strange seems to have gotten mixed in...

But that's not important...

But ever since a young master came to live with the family, and some extraordinary things appeared in the patriarch's courtyard, Jie Qi felt that his status in the family was getting lower and lower...

He used to be a secretary, but now he's a foreman of porters.

Accompanied by a few helpers, two people pushed a small cart piled with several sealed styrofoam boxes. Jie Qi laboriously cleared a path with his feet and squeezed open the main gate of the courtyard.

The main courtyard was quiet, except for a few fallen petals from the crabapple trees that were blown down by the breeze. The courtyard looked no different from when the head of the family was not at home.

Of course, this is ignoring the large gate that stands boldly against the courtyard wall, looking even more imposing and culturally rich than the Xie family's old house.

Jie Qi was already used to this strange gate standing in the main courtyard; it had been there for over a month, and he had long since gotten used to it.

As for the porters who came along to work as movers, they were no ordinary porters either.

They were all members of the Genting tour group, and each of them, when faced with their own family head and young master, turned on the filter to an eight-hundred-meter-thick layer.

Even if the head of the family built a heavenly palace in his own courtyard, they would only stand by and cheer for him with starry eyes of worship.

Jie Qi led his men through the courtyard gate with practiced ease and stepped inside.

After passing the screen wall, what comes into view is a very ordinary courtyard, which looks quite homey.

Along the courtyard wall, there is a row of artificial rocks and strange stones, making it seem like anyone could easily step on these stones and climb over the wall.

The group did not linger in the courtyard, but instead went through the small door at the back of the main house with a clear objective.

As soon as they stepped out of that small door, the feeling immediately changed. The guys felt as if the air itself had changed, carrying a different kind of atmosphere.

Taking a deep breath gives me the illusion that my mind has become much clearer.

Stepping on the path that seemed to be paved with jade, the scene before my eyes was like a landscape painting, with all sorts of exotic flowers and plants that I had never seen before blooming freely on both sides of the path.

Even though they'd been here several times, each time the guys would mentally scream, "Oh my god! I think I've arrived in heaven!!!"

The scenery along the way was truly beautiful, and the place was really big. They walked all the way in and were a little out of breath by now.

They walked through the small garden, around the rockery, across the small bridge and stream, and passed the second courtyard (the blind one) without stopping.

Follow the path to a sizable lotus pond. The stone path, made of bluestone, crosses the pond and disappears into the depths of the lush green lotus leaves.

At the end of the cobblestone path is a stage built over a pond.

The stage blends seamlessly with the surrounding lotus flowers and leaves, as if time has stood still, waiting for a single vocal performance to awaken this ancient story.

The small courtyard, which faces the stage across the water, is exquisite and gorgeous. The crabapple trees in the courtyard are growing well, and the branches full of flower buds hang down from the courtyard wall.

Jie Qi looked up towards the stage. Good, there was no one there today. The gentlemen had changed locations again.

With a weary sigh, Jie Qi silently mourned his ever-increasing amount of exercise.

The pond was quite large. After passing the stage and the crabapple courtyard, the large pond disappeared, leaving only a clear stream to accompany them.

Until the strange trees shrouded in mist obscured the view, a pavilion that looked like something out of a fantasy drama came into view.

Despite being enclosed within a sizable garden, this pavilion still manages to assert its presence in its own unique way.

Xie Qi carefully walked past the huge rock covered with sword marks at the entrance of the courtyard, his heart pounding nervously, as if he were about to be squeezed and exploded by the invisible pressure.

He didn't even need to look; he knew none of the other masters were here, and the young master himself didn't want to stay and play here.

Su Li: Ah... I'm getting sleepy looking at that little library in the back...

Hurry up, hurry up, the pressure here is too much, my heart can't take it...

I hurriedly turned into a pebbled path, the fresh scent of herbs filling the air, and the distinct yet harmonious scenery on either side.

Both sides of the pebble path are equally vibrant with life, but one side has a clearly distinguished medicinal herb garden, while the other side has a well-organized vegetable garden.

The vegetable garden doesn't seem to have been extensively damaged today, and looking at the yard not far away, there's no smoke coming out of the chimney.

Only two courtyards left! Come on, Jie Qi, you can do it! Go for it!!!

The slender willow branches drooped low, gently landing on the water's surface, casting a shadow beneath them. The long, thin willow leaves fell onto the row of deck chairs along the riverbank.

Several fishing rods were propped up on the artificial rockery nearby, indicating that the area was still on holiday.

On a recliner with a palm-leaf fan casually placed on it, fallen leaves rustled gently in the breeze.

Jie Qi only needed to glance at the shelf next to him; no fruit platter, snacks, or milk tea meant no one was there.

Looking at the courtyard not far away, backed by a small hill, I thought, "These guys really know how to have fun. I wonder if they'll start fighting in the back?"

Before Jie Qi could get close, a sharp-eyed waiter spotted the smoke rising from the small hill behind them.

"Brother Qi, the patriarch and the other gentlemen seem to be over there."

Strange fruits of all colors and shapes hang from the branches. As soon as you get close to this hill, you will be surrounded and enveloped by the sweet fragrance of flowers and fruits.

But today, the sweet and refreshing floral and fruity scent is mixed with some other aromas.

For example... cumin...

For example... salt and pepper...

For example... chili powder...

The smoke and fire added a smoky flavor to the juicy fruits...

"Wow!!!!"

"As long as you don't open your mouth, I'll support you becoming the new pillar of the Peking Opera world!!!"

"Tianzhen, stop messing around. How can you be a mainstay if you don't open your mouth? Are you going to play a mute?"

"Huh? Dumb guy, that fat kid dissed you, beat him up!!!"

"I didn't! I didn't! Even if you're blind, you can't just make things up!!!"

"Do I look good like this, Huahua?!"

"It's very beautiful! It looks like a miniature Peking Opera figurine."

"Hehehe~~ Little figurines~~ The blind man gets to grab one first, hehehe~~"

"Aaaaaah!!! Flower, help! Brother Zhang, help!!!"

Jie Qi wiped the sweat from his forehead. What on earth were these gentlemen up to today?
