Rebirth of a Girl in a Boys' School

Chapter 31 Misfortune Cannot Be Blamed on the School

"That Ding Yilin, he's so unclear about what he's saying," Lin Ruofei muttered as she found room 906 and easily opened the door with the same key...

Upon entering room 906, Lin Ruofei immediately noticed that this room was quite different:

When Lin Ruofei came to the ninth floor to find Ding Yilin, she saw that the dorm rooms on the ninth floor all had four beds and four students living there. However, this 906 dorm room only had two beds, two fewer than the other dorm rooms, but there were still four desks. She didn't know how many people lived in this dorm room.

When Lin Ruofei went to find Ding Yilin, half of her body was already inside the dormitory. She didn't smell anything strange in Ding Yilin's dormitory at the time, but there was an indescribable strange smell in the dormitory, like the smell of spoiled food... or the smell of rotting animal carcasses... in short, it was a very unpleasant smell.

"Which bed has been unoccupied?" Lin Ruofei looked at the two beds with very dirty bedding and really couldn't decide which bed had been unoccupied.

With no other option, Lin Ruofei had to put down her luggage and sit on a chair to wait for her roommate to return.

As she waited, Lin Ruofei slowly leaned back in her chair and fell asleep...

In her dream, Lin Ruofei was lying on the large bed in room 609, which she had just been kicked out of, rolling around happily. Suddenly, Zhang Yang burst into room 609, yelling that it was his room and that he wanted to kick Lin Ruofei out immediately. Lin Ruofei didn't listen to him and quickly knocked Zhang Yang out. Just as Lin Ruofei was laughing gleefully, she suddenly felt someone pushing her forcefully...

"Hey! Hey!! Classmate, wake up... wake up!" A rough voice, accompanied by a strong hand, woke Lin Ruofei from her sweet dream with shouts and shaking.

Lin Ruofei opened her eyes groggily, and a huge figure came into view.

"Wow, this young man is so strong!" Lin Ruofei couldn't help but secretly praise him. "He clearly eats well!"

The boy standing in front of Lin Ruofei was at least 1.9 meters tall. He had a dark complexion, large eyes, a straight nose, a wide mouth, and a broad back. Judging from his appearance, he definitely weighed over 200 pounds!

"If this kid were to play Li Kui or something..." Lin Ruofei couldn't help but sigh inwardly, "He could probably skip the makeup and just play himself!"

"Hey, classmate," the young man said warmly, looking at Lin Ruofei sitting in the chair, "you must be the last student to arrive in our dorm, right? Welcome, welcome, a warm welcome..."

“I’m from Class 3 of Grade 11,” the young man with the dark complexion said, extending his right hand. “My name is Tian Dazhuang.”

"Lin Ruofei from Class 2, Grade 11." Lin Ruofei quickly extended her right hand and shook hands with her.

"You can choose one of these two beds!" Tian Dazhuang said somewhat embarrassedly, "I'm really sorry, I've gotten the sheets a bit dirty..."

"It's alright," Lin Ruofei smiled and waved her hand, "I'm fine with whichever bed I want, you can choose one!"

"Well..." Tian Dazhuang casually pointed to a bed on the right and said, "I'll sleep in this one!"

"Okay!" Lin Ruofei nodded and threw her luggage onto the bed on the left.

"Lin Ruofei!" A soft voice suddenly called out from outside the door.

Lin Ruofei looked towards the door and saw that it was Ding Yilin who had come to find her.

"The cafeteria is open. Shall we go eat now?" Ding Yilin asked softly.

"Okay, let's go right now!" Lin Ruofei said, rubbing her stomach. "I threw up most of what I ate for lunch today, and I'm actually quite hungry now!"

"Are you going?" Lin Ruofei turned to ask Tian Dazhuang.

"I'll go later," Tian Dazhuang said with a smile. "You and your friend go first!"

"Okay." Lin Ruofei said, and then walked out of the dormitory with Ding Yilin.

"Is it five o'clock yet?" Lin Ruofei muttered as she took out her phone. "Are the cafeterias open already?"

“Yes!” Ding Yilin nodded, saying enviously, “You’re so lucky. Teacher Hao gave you a day off, so you don’t have to sit on the bench all afternoon like us…”

"Teacher Hao is such a talker!" Lin Ruofei exclaimed sincerely. "She can talk about those old, trivial things like school rules and mottoes for an entire afternoon?"

"Teacher Hao didn't say anything, she just selected some class officers and that was it," Ding Yilin said with lingering fear. "But the other subject teachers took turns, each with long, elaborate speeches, talking for an hour without even taking a break. It was terrifying..."

"Hey..." After getting into the elevator, Lin Ruofei saw that there was no one else in the elevator, so she hugged Ding Yilin's neck and asked in a low voice, "You still haven't answered me. Why did you become so mysterious when I mentioned in my text message that I live in room 906?"

"Sigh..." Ding Yilin sighed softly, shook his head, and said, "Your life is really unlucky; you were assigned to room 906..."

"Is it really that tragic?" Lin Ruofei said dismissively.

"You'll understand when night falls tonight!" Ding Yilin said with a sympathetic look.

"What exactly happened?" Seeing Ding Yilin's exaggerated reaction, Lin Ruofei couldn't contain herself any longer and hurriedly asked, "Tell me clearly now, so I don't have to guess!"

"Do you know why there are only two beds in room 906?" Ding Yilin asked rhetorically.

Lin Ruofei shook her head and said, "I've never been to room 906, how would I know?"
