"Let go!" Gu Shiyu turned to the side and shook off the shopkeeper Chang's hand.

Before the shop owner could react, a slap landed on his hand, forcing him to release the hand that was holding Mengmeng.

The back of his hand instantly turned bright red. Looking at Gu Shiyu, Shopkeeper Chang spat on the ground with a whoosh. He rubbed his hands together menacingly, almost ready to punch Gu Shiyu in the face.

"If it weren't for the fact that you're just a kid, I would have already swung my fist down!" Shopkeeper Chang swore, his expression greasy and arrogant.

Even though the shop owner, Mr. Sun, was standing nearby, he couldn't stop him.

Seeing his aggressive demeanor, Gu Shiyu found it amusing.

"Still laughing?" Shopkeeper Chang felt instantly provoked. He grabbed Shopkeeper Sun's hand, "Old Sun, don't pull me. I'll teach these two arrogant bastards a lesson for you!"

"Old Chang, you've misunderstood!" Shopkeeper Sun hurriedly explained, "These two are from the Gu family!"
