"How did you get out of her room?" Gu Jingsi stood in front of the study door, his hand raised to knock, his gaze drawn to Gu Yinshen and Xie Beiling emerging from Tian Tian's room.

He turned and waited for them to come over.

"Let's talk in the study first," Gu Yinshen said.

The four people entered the study one after another after the door was opened.

Gu Jingsi asked curiously, "What were you doing in Tiantian's room? Didn't you say you were going to the study to discuss some things?"

“We suspect that everyone’s unusual behavior the past two days is related to Tian Tian,” Gu Yinshen explained.

"What do you mean?" Gu Jingsi pressed.

He also found it strange that he had suddenly become possessed, and that he had transferred all the love he should have given to Mengmeng to Tiantian.

Looking back on it now, it really seems so unbelievable.

Xie Beiling continued, "We thought there might be some secrets hidden in her room, but we searched it all and found nothing."

"Does that mean this matter might have nothing to do with her?"

"We can't completely absolve her of responsibility, after all, she's the one who benefits the most from this whole affair."

The study suddenly became quiet.

"It's actually quite simple to find out if she has anything to do with this," Gu Shiyu said.

Xie Beiling and Gu Jingsi were both impatient and wanted to get to the bottom of what he was talking about as soon as possible.

Gu Yinshen pressed further, "Is it just the four of us acting?"

Gu Shiyu nodded, "Dad, weren't you just worried about Mengmeng's emotional state? We won't tell Aunt Yuan or Mom about our plan. That way, they'll treat Mengmeng well while we treat Tiantian well."

"That's a good idea!" Xie Beiling immediately clapped his hands and cheered.

After making some preparations in the study, the four of them came downstairs.

"Yin Shen, you've come down at just the right time. Aunt Xue and the others have already prepared dinner, so we can eat now." Ruolan, along with Mengmeng and Tiantian, had just come out of the bathroom after washing their hands.

Gu Yinshen casually grabbed a tissue from the table, and gently knelt down in front of Tian Tian. "Are you all getting impatient, Tian Tian? Are you hungry?"

As he spoke, he held Tian Tian's hands in his own and wiped away the still-damp water droplets.

Before Tian Tian could recover from her shock, Gu Jingsi stepped forward and squatted down in front of her as well. "Isn't this still you, big brother? When I went upstairs, I told you to finish your work as soon as possible. You insisted on waiting, and you were making our Tian Tian starve."

For the sake of a good performance, Gu Jingsi ignored Nan Yuan'er and followed Gu Yinshen around like a puppy.

The four of them were like sweet knights, always protecting her and not letting her suffer any grievances.

"What's wrong with them?" Nan Yuan'er asked, puzzled.

Ruolan watched as Gu Shiyu began serving soup to Tiantian before they even had a chance to sit down, just as they had previously devoted themselves entirely to her.

"How did they turn out like that again?" Ruolan murmured.

Everyone seemed to have returned to normal last night, and they all seemed fine when they came back. But why did they change after going upstairs and coming down again?

Hearing Ruolan's words, Nan Yuan'er reached out and held Mengmeng's hand beside her, "We're still here, and we'll never let you suffer again."

"Aunt Yuan, Mengmeng is fine." Mengmeng forced a smile.

"Let's go eat." Ruolan took Mengmeng's other hand.

They came to the dining table, sulking and ignoring Gu Yinshen and the others.

"Have you not been eating properly these days? You've lost weight." Ruolan held her chopsticks and kept picking up the food that Mengmeng liked.

Aunt Xue and Aunt Ping had been watching what Mengmeng had been doing at home these past few days. So when they saw them bring Mengmeng back today, they prepared dinner with all of Mengmeng's favorite dishes.

"Mommy, there's too much! Mengmeng can't finish it all." Looking at the mountain of food in front of her, Mengmeng felt both happy and worried that she wouldn't be able to finish it and would waste the food.

Nan Yuan'er picked up the bowl next to her and struggled to stand up to serve Mengmeng some soup.

Gu Jingsi saw this and wished he could immediately take the bowl from Nan Yuan'er's hands. However, considering the bigger picture and noticing the gazes of others, he kept his restless hand firmly on his lap.

After serving the soup, Nan Yuan'er looked at Gu Jingsi, who was staring at Tian Tian.

"Hmph." She snorted coldly, turned to face Mengmeng with a smile, and said, "Have a sip of soup first, then slowly finish the food."

“Okay. Mom and Aunt Yuan will eat too.” Mengmeng picked up her chopsticks and put food on their plates.
