EROS [Zerg]

Chapter 85 Date?

"Isn't this kind of aircraft already considered outdated military aircraft?"

Eros gently tapped the aircraft's outer shell. Hearing the sound from the metal casing, he knew it was definitely not a metal material suitable for civilian aircraft.

"May I ask why you wanted to purchase this aircraft? Do you have a government-issued certificate of legal ownership of military equipment?"

Fran nodded and took out the certificate he had brought with him to show Eros and Feras: "This is a discarded military aircraft that I bought at a low price. I plan to convert it into a civilian aircraft that can travel, and begin my space travel."

Firas was completely bewildered after reading it. When Ferran reported it to him, he only said it was an aircraft, but he didn't say it was a military aircraft that had been phased out.

Thinking of this, although he admired Eros, a novice, for being able to recognize the origin of the aircraft at a glance, Feras was still unsure whether Eros could repair it.

Eros was unaware of Feras's feelings; he was simply relieved that he had read about this type of military aircraft in a book and had studied the workings of the parts of this old-fashioned aircraft.

He connected the testing equipment he was carrying to the controller: "Why not just buy a civilian aircraft? The price of a civilian aircraft isn't much higher than buying this big guy."

"At least six lines have aged to the point of being unusable. Only two lines are still intact, and the rest need to be replaced."

"The cost of such a complete overhaul and renovation far exceeds that of simply buying a new civilian aircraft."

Eros had already advised Fran to stop wasting his time and money on this.

Fran said somewhat embarrassedly, "Actually, I know that if I only want to own an aircraft, I might as well just buy a new civilian aircraft. But this military aircraft can perform space jumps. Currently, apart from military spaceships, civilian aircraft do not have this feature."

"I've also heard that installing the core components of space jump technology on a civilian spaceship would cost tens of millions of star coins just for one set of components. I think I only need such advanced configurations for interstellar tourism."

“Okay, fine.” Eros nodded. “Then today we can only find out the problems with your aircraft first, and then slowly replace parts and repair the wiring later.”

Upon hearing that the aircraft could not be repaired today, Fran's face showed a worried expression, but then he thought that such a large aircraft could not possibly be repaired in one day, so he could only nod in agreement helplessly.

Eros climbed into the cockpit and began inspecting every component of the old aircraft, one by one. It wasn't until nightfall that he had sorted out all the problems with the aircraft.

“There are many parts that need repair, and I’ve listed them for you. I’ve marked many of the problems here. You can also find a repair shop outside to fix them, and it will cost less.”

"For the parts marked in red, you can come to me next time, or you can find other military mechanics to repair them for you." Although Eros believed that he could also repair this aircraft, he thought that most insects would not want him, a young insect who had just graduated, to do such a big project.

After settling the commission with Fran, Eros and Feras came out of the factory.

Seeing the 1600 star coins deposited into his account, Eros felt a sense of unreality for a moment.

It was getting late, so Feralas reimbursed Eros for his travel expenses, and then the two insects parted ways.

Instead of going straight back to the academy, Eros calculated the closing time of the dormitory doors and went to the supermarket to buy an outfit that would make him look a little more presentable.

After all, we're taking Kam out to play tomorrow. The female insect can't dress too shabbily when she's taking the little male out with her.

Eros bought some snacks and gifts for Kam before paying and returning to the academy, stepping into the dormitory just as it was closing time.

"Why are you back so late today?" Alai asked, looking at the bag in Eros's hand.

Eros told Alai that he was going to take Kam out to play tomorrow.

Allais's expression turned sarcastic as he looked at Eros: "Is this what you call a date?"

“You really have an idea to date a minor male boy.” Eros glanced at Alai and packed his things.

"So what if he's young? Don't forget that only male insect offspring that go through their first differentiation with a female can be considered adult males."

"Moreover, the male insects that have undergone their first differentiation have the strongest desire to mate. It might be the time when a male insect's desire to be with a female insect is at its most intense throughout its life. You should really try that experience, so that other female insects don't get there first..."

“Alai…” Eros scolded Alai for continuing, “That male named Bami has really changed you a lot.”

Alai's upturned lips gradually faded, and finally she turned her head away: "It's alright, who knows."

Eros shook his head, said nothing more, and continued packing.

The next day, Eros got up just before dawn. Seeing Alai still snuggled in bed with his eyes closed, he tiptoed out of the dormitory.

Meanwhile, Kama was so excited the night before that she accidentally stayed up all night and couldn't wake up even after setting three alarms in the morning.

Sailor couldn't bear to watch any longer, so he picked Kam up from his crib and woke him up.

"Serre... I want to sleep a little longer..."

“But your Eros is already waiting outside the academy.” Selene lifted the little boy from the bed.

"...Eros...?" Camus slightly opened one eye to look at the sunlit room, then suddenly realized something and his eyes widened!

"Huh? Huh? Huh? I'm late???"

While Kam was still in a daze, Serlo had already started helping him put on his clothes.

With Sailu's help, Kame, having finished washing up, was about to run outside when he was stopped again.

"Kam, little male, you haven't had your breakfast yet." Sai Le placed a small dish of nutritious male insect soup on the small table where Kam usually ate.

Kam quickly shook his head: "I'm not eating anymore. Eros is waiting for me outside. If I don't go now, I'll be late!"

"No."

Selene helped Cam to a chair. "Eros wouldn't want you to go out with him on an empty stomach either."

Kamo thought about it and realized it made sense, so he obediently picked up the soup bowl in front of him and ate the food inside in big mouthfuls.

Eros waited outside the gate of the Male Insect Academy, but instead of seeing Kam, he attracted several young males who were gathered around the fence watching him.
