EROS [Zerg]

Kam was very angry, but the female insect behind him quickly picked him up and tucked him into her arms.

Eros looked calmly and coldly at the female insect Lan in front of him: "I remember you. I am indeed a female insect from the auction house."

“I don’t have any infectious diseases, and I don’t think I’m dirty. No female insect would want to go to that kind of place, and the female insects that come out of there are not dirty.”

Eros was silent for a moment, then slowly opened his mouth: "No."

Kam blinked in the female insect's arms.

The male insect, not hearing what it wanted to hear and rejected by the female, simply used its claws to prop itself up on the female's shoulders and struggled in her arms.

"Why!"

"I love you so much, there can't be a male insect that loves you more than me!"

“Really.” Eros wiped the blood from the little boy’s mouth with his hand. “Eros will stay with Kam until Kam has his own queen and servant.”

"You're lying to me." Kamehameha bit her lower lip, her brows furrowed.

"If Kama never finds a female ruler or servant in his entire life, Eros will not stay by Kama's side forever!"

"You female insects say you love Kama, that you like Kama, but it's all fake. You're just trying to appease Kama!"

“Commander Enl and I both love Kam.” Eros didn’t understand what the little boy was thinking, and all he could do now was comfort him.

“Father…” Kam turned around awkwardly and sat on Eros’s chest, as if he had something difficult to say.

Eros thought the little insect was missing its female father again, so it tried to comfort him. Just as its claw touched the little male's shoulder, it heard Kame mutter a few words in a low voice.

Eros embraced the little boy: "Kamo, you can tell Eros anything. Please don't keep it to yourself."

Kamo didn't want to talk, so he turned around and buried himself in the female insect's embrace.

After a long while, just when Eros thought Kam had fallen asleep, the little male in his arms let out a soft voice: "My male father is an E-level male insect."

It's a very low-level male insect, the kind that's at the bottom of the insectoid race. It has almost no pheromones and can't mark females. It can only provide inferior genes for females to conceive.

Eros was somewhat surprised because Commander Enel was an A-level female insect.

Just when it was difficult to find even a Grade A female insect for a Grade C male, Commander Ener actually found a Grade E male insect.

From Camus's words, Eros roughly understood why the little boy was so sad and sensitive.

To avoid harassment from other male insects, an A-grade female insect in En'er voluntarily married an E-grade male insect that could not be marked.

An unmarried female insect has to pay a huge fine if she refuses an invitation from a male insect. En'er might be able to pay it once or twice, but a female insect's salary is finite, and it is impossible to pay such a fine indefinitely.

Choosing to marry an E-class male is Ener's way of protecting himself.

High-ranking males with some status rarely stoop to having anything with a female military insect of the E-rank male. This way, they can not only use their married status to decline male marriage invitations, but also reduce some of the harassment from males.

En'er used his major's salary to support that useless E-rank male master, and even found several female servants for his master to take care of him. In exchange for ensuring that the E-rank male insect's living standards were not low, he demanded that the insect cub be taken to his side and raised.

Military work is busy and dangerous, so it's impossible for female soldiers to take the insect cubs with them to raise. Therefore, En'er can only leave one insect cub, Kamo, at home, and it's difficult for her to find time to accompany Kamo.

Eros didn't understand why Commander Enl was unwilling to put the bug cub with his father, but the little bug cub in his arms looked really hungry.

When Eros saw his son sitting obediently in his seat, holding a picture book, through the glass window, his unease subsided considerably.

He's probably being too sensitive.

After thanking his female mentor, Eros checked the time on his terminal and realized that it was almost time for his appointment with Commander Enel. So, Eros went outside and called a flying vehicle.

One star later, Eros stood outside the Fourth Interstellar Empire's military headquarters.
