"What are they doing?" Luo Lan asked the guards outside the door, pointing to the humans queuing to enter.

“Little Luo Lan, they are volunteers.” Lü Liang stroked Luo Lan’s clean hair. Luo Lan rubbed affectionately against Lü Liang’s hand; he liked the feeling of being touched.

"Can I go in and have a look?"

"Of course you can, but you have to wait until they're all inside. Also, Luo Lan, your training time is almost up. If you want to come next time, you can have General Luo Lin bring you." The guard, Lü Liang, was a very handsome human, and his smile was truly beautiful.

The overwhelming sense of danger nearly made Lü Liang fall off the stool. He tried to run away, but in his panic, his leg got caught on the stool leg, and he fell face-first to the ground.

A sharp pain in the tip of his nose jolted Lü Liang awake—some Zerg had escaped!

Realizing this fact, he panicked, but his body instinctively rushed to the cabinet next to the table and grabbed the laser gun from inside.

The blue-eyed insect, seeing the human sitting inside the glass window, was filled with rage. It used its sharp claws to smash the alloyed glass window, the huge impact creating five claw holes in the glass.

"That's the power of the Zerg, the overlords of the universe!" Lü Liang gasped and quickly aimed his laser gun at the Zerg in front of him, then pressed the alarm in the registration room!

Suddenly, alarms blared in the empty base corridors.

The blue-eyed female insect tensed up, glared fiercely at the human hiding in the registration room, and then, disregarding everything else, turned and ran away down the corridor.

Having survived the ordeal, Lü Liang wiped the sweat from his brow and rushed through the alloy iron door. Sure enough, inside cell number 18 lay a corpse stained with blood.

Looking at the key inserted in the lock of the restraint lock, Lü Liang cursed inwardly, "Another one who's asking for trouble."

Luo Lan's training went on until very late. On his way back to his room, he encountered a "person" he had never seen before.

The "person" had a pair of large wings on its back, was not wearing any clothes, and had beautiful patterns on its body. The lines on its body were even more attractive than those of the superheroes in the movies he watched.

After confirming that the female insect was unable to move, the humans used a great deal of strength to move it away and carry Luo Lan out.

Terrified, Luo Lan cried uncontrollably, "Mom..."

The man whom Luo Lan called Uncle Lin Ying carried Luo Lan to the laboratory, checked his body and found no harm, and then carried Luo Lan back to his room.
