EROS [Zerg]

Chapter 62 Goodbye

"Eros!"

Eros opened his eyes in surprise, his violet eyes reflecting a small figure running towards him.

Almost reflexively, Eros bent down and stretched out his arms, only to be embraced by the little boy who ran up to him: "Cut?!"

"Kamo, what brings you here?"

Almost instantly, Eros's previously cold and aloof attitude underwent a 180-degree transformation.

The transformation was so natural that Ellie, the little boy standing behind him, gaped in astonishment, wondering if the insect in front of him had just been possessed.

Kam broke free from the grasp of its male insect nurseryman, Seror, and leaped into Eros's arms:

"Why won't Eros answer my calls?" He skillfully wrapped his arms around Eros's neck, burying his face in the crook of Eros's neck and gently nuzzling him. "I miss Eros so much. I call him so many times every day, but he doesn't answer a single one. I worry about him every day."

"I'm sorry, is it a card?"

Eros didn't explain, but simply gently rubbed his forehead against Kam's cheek.

Kama puffed out her round cheeks and turned her head slightly away so that Eros could see that she was angry: "Ellie told me that Eros is going to find another male insect. Eros, is what he said true?"

“In Eros’s heart, no little boy is cuter than Kam.” Eros didn’t answer him, but gently rubbed Kam’s face with his soft hair, making an affectionate and obedient gesture.

In the past, Camus loved it when Eros did this.

Ellie, who had been listening to Eros and Camus's conversation, couldn't help but stick out her tongue: "Tch, sweet talk, Eros's just a lying female insect."

“Kam, don’t believe him. He told the Kenyan male that he wanted to sleep with him, but when I found out, he was embarrassed and stood the Kenyan male up. He’s been avoiding the Kenyan male these past few days.” Eli raised his head and said disdainfully, “He even had the delusion that he wanted to be my volunteer. I don’t want that kind of female insect.”

Eros silently watched the female insect standing behind the young male, Eli. Although they weren't wearing military uniforms, Eros could still sense the serious aura and the fact that they were at least A-rank from a distance.

Hearing Ellie's words, the female insects behind him did not make any mocking noises. This serious discipline made Eros almost able to deduce that these female insects were all high-level military females whose strength should not be underestimated.

Eros picked Kamo up from the ground: "Kamo, are you hungry? How about Eros takes you to eat?"

Kam, the little bug cub, lay on Eros's shoulder, shook its head, and pouted, asking, "Is everything Ellie said true?"

"Of course it's not true, he's lying to you. Eros will always love Kama." Eros gently cupped the back of Kama's head with his paw, his gaze falling on the little boy, Eli, with a hint of provocation in his eyes.

He knew that he was holding a male insect cub in his arms, and that the female insects behind Ellie would not rush up to attack him because they were mindful of the child in his arms.

Ellie, the young male, never expected that this female insect named Eros could lie through her teeth and speak ill of him to his face.

The little boy stomped his feet angrily and gritted his teeth, saying, "Who lied to him? I'm telling the truth!"

This was the first time that Ellie, the little male, had encountered a female insect like Eros who dared to play tricks on him. She was cunning, scheming, vain, two-faced, and a master at deceiving insects!

Unfortunately, this insect has the exact same face as his father, who is a Zerg hero.

How annoying!

Eros, still holding Kam, was thinking about how to get out of there: "Kam, let Eros take you to get something to eat. There are a lot of foods here that the Male Insect Academy doesn't have."

Kam's little face scrunched up, and he didn't say a word. Eros squeezed his little paws and softened his voice: "If Kam isn't hungry, could Eros go and eat something first? I haven't eaten anything since this morning."

Kam knew that Eros was clearly hiding something, but he didn't want Eros to go hungry. Kam felt wronged and sad, but he still nodded: "I'll give you a little while to eat."

Eros nodded, picked up Kam and walked out. The little male in his arms was like a pass. When Eros walked out, no female insects stopped him. Only the little male Ellie angrily told him not to go.

This made Eros even more convinced that the group of female insects behind the little male insect were not completely following the little insect's orders; perhaps they were just following orders to protect the little male insect.

As the group passed by, Eros keenly noticed an extremely exquisite badge on the shoulder of one of the female insects.

Eros glanced at the golden badge: the badge was shaped like a shield, with red roses inlaid with garnets blooming at the top, and two ferocious scythes on the sides, which looked like insect wings or sharp forelegs with serrated edges.

It resembles a long sword and armor used to protect precious and valuable treasures.

The red rose does not symbolize male insects. Eros remembered learning in his textbook that the red rose is the crest of the Oviquitine family, and Oviquitine is the surname of the current insectoid royal family.

Insect King Inai's real name is Inai Ovequentin.

Eros deduced that these female soldiers were female insects found by the royal family, not by other nobles, for the young male Ellie.

At this thought, Eros's heart skipped a beat. He remembered what Alai had told him: never get involved in the political conflict between Grand Duke Kavenor and His Majesty the Insect King.

Thinking of this, Eros tightened his grip on Cam's arm and led Cam quickly toward the cafeteria. Only when they were in the sunlight did Eros let out a long sigh. He lowered his eyes, thinking to himself:

I'm just an ordinary female insect... Am I being too sensitive?

While Eros was still in a daze, Kamehameha gently hugged Eros's neck, cradled his soft hair, kissed him on the cheek, and asked with concern:

"Eros...why are you shaking?"

Only after being told by Kamo did Eros realize that his body was indeed trembling uncontrollably.

"Ka, I'm a little scared."

Eros did not choose to continue towards the dining hall where the female insects gathered, but instead led Kam to sit down by a tall shrub with shade.

Eros curled the little male up and tucked him into his arms, nuzzling him affectionately. He looked at the little insect in his arms with an apologetic expression: "I'm sorry, Kamo."

"I think there are some things I absolutely must tell you."
