EROS [Zerg]

Eros happily agreed. Sixty star coins per star hour was a really good wage. He could only earn a little over a hundred star coins a day when he worked in the Fourth Star System for a dozen or so star hours.

As they were leaving, Eros saw several tall female insects dressed in white-gold military uniforms walk past them. Eros immediately recognized that most of these female insects were A-level female insects, and the two female insects at the front had a mental power level of S-level.

Just standing next to them, you can feel an intense sense of oppression.

“These are female members of the Royal Guard, an army that reports only to His Majesty the Insect King.” Desel pulled Raeros aside and said, “They must be here to deliver orders from His Majesty the Insect King.”

Eros, though puzzled, nodded and followed Desail to one side of the aisle.

After the female soldiers had passed by, Eros followed Desail downstairs. Just as they were about to reach the turn in the stairs, Eros looked up and glanced at where the female soldiers had been.

They stood outside Mr. Brandt's office.

Eros stopped in his tracks without realizing it.

"Eros...?"

Desail wondered why Eros had stopped. He craned his neck to follow Eros's gaze and saw the female teacher, who liked to wear high heels and was usually fierce, being surrounded by the group of female soldiers.

Eros watched as Brandt spoke to the female soldiers, their words seemingly heated, and wondered what had happened.

"Did I commit a crime? Is this how you take me away?!"

“Lieutenant Colonel Bisso, His Majesty wants to speak with me, not to put me on trial, so are you trying to handcuff me?” Brandt disliked these tough-looking female soldiers.

They were only there to take him to Sepoliu Castle to meet His Majesty the Insect Emperor, but now they're shoving him around like prisoners.

The female sub-females were delicate and tender, and Brandt felt as if his entire body was about to stumble and fall to the ground when these burly female soldiers gave him a light push.

"Your Excellency Brandt, the Insect King is waiting for you at Sepoliu Castle. Please act quickly."

One of the S-rank female insects standing at the front of the group noticed Brandt's uncooperative attitude and stepped forward to whisper, "His Majesty the Insect King is already displeased. If you are to be late again, you may further anger him. Please hurry up."

Brandt snorted coldly, turned around and walked out, looking up to see Eros looking in his direction.

“Teacher?” Eros’s eyes flickered.

Brandt paused upon hearing this, his beautiful face tightening as he coldly said, "What are you looking at? Have you finished memorizing your book? Are you wasting your time here, waiting for me to come back and deal with you?"

“Teacher, you…”

"What could possibly happen to me? Take care of yourself first."

Brandt really didn't want Eros to stay there any longer. Not to mention what the seasoned female insects would think of Eros strolling in front of His Majesty the Insect King's guards with that face, if one of the cunning females managed to trick him into revealing the truth, he would be guilty of deceiving His Majesty the Insect King.

Eros realized Brandt was unwilling to continue the conversation and was about to leave when he looked up and met a pair of emerald eyes.

At first, Feather only noticed the female insect's soft, fluffy platinum-gold hair, which reminded him of the insect cub he had raised.

But when she met those pure violet eyes again, Feather felt a glimmer of light flash before her eyes. Those pure eyes looked at her fearlessly, their long eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings.

It was like a lost treasure reappearing before his eyes, still so dazzling, so beautiful. Feather almost blurted out the name when a sarcastic laugh from behind interrupted him.

Brandt said irritably, "Colonel Feather, you're going to delay my time to pay my respects to His Majesty the Insect King."

Desail gently tugged at Eros's arm, and Eros snapped out of his daze. He returned the greeting to Brandt and the other female soldiers in front of him, then turned and left with Desail.

Watching Eros's departing figure, Feather looked at Brandt meaningfully: "Is this child involved in this matter?"

Brandt answered crisply, "No."

Brandt glanced back at Fiser with disdain, then straightened up and strode forward.

The Imperial First Military Academy is not far from the Imperial Palace, Sepoliu Fortress. It is the best military academy in the entire Zerg race, and also the elite army that His Majesty the Zerg Emperor can dispatch in the shortest amount of time.

At the main gate square of Sepoliu Castle, an aircraft bearing the royal coat of arms slowly landed.

Brandt was no stranger to Sepoliu Castle. Every year, as a senior military mechanic, he was invited to the palace to explain the latest mechs to His Majesty the Insect King and to discuss how to modify the military's mech configurations.

He once again arrived at the Sepoli Castle, whose interior was decorated with solemnity and magnificence. He was led by a servant into His Majesty the Insect King's study and looked at the beautiful monarch standing in front of the black lacquer desk with a cold expression.

High-ranking female insects always have an advantage in appearance that is difficult for ordinary female insects to match.

Because of his early experiences, Insect King Ina disliked sub-females very much. However, in order to maintain the demeanor of an Insect King, he was outwardly very tolerant of his sub-female subjects and did not mistreat them.
