EROS [Zerg]

Chapter 24 Softer than Nebula Candy

“I never liked those disgusting female insects. Whoever comes after them deserves to be abused!” Cather sneered, pointing her claw at Ellie.

"Ellie, you actually spoke up for the female insects! This is a betrayal of us male insects!"

Ellie, her face cold, corrected Kather, word by word: "This history is about hatred! It wasn't the females or males that caused that catastrophe for the Zerg, it was hatred!"

"The lesson we should learn is to resolve the animosity between female and male insects, instead of letting it fester and continue as it is now, otherwise history will surely repeat itself!"

"Are you saying that we male insects shouldn't know about this history from 600 years ago? Should we hide that bloody history like the female insects?" Kaiser crossed his arms and raised his head, saying sarcastically, "You're a male insect, yet you're speaking up for the female insects. You're such a good son of your insect-killing female father."

When Ellie heard Cather insulting her father-in-law, her face flushed with anger, and she retorted, "My father-in-law is a hero, you're not allowed to call him a bug killer!"

"He killed the male insect from the Blanca family because that male insect married the female insect his female father liked! This is something all the insects know, how can you deny it?!" Cather pointed at Kam, who was wailing loudly.

"That's because the male insect from Blanca's family tore the female apart! My female father went to save the insect..."

"Enough! Ellie, shut up!"

Grand Duke Caven, who had been letting the young boys speak freely, stopped Ellie from continuing: "Don't talk about family matters here."

Ellie stopped talking, his face gradually turning pale. He looked up at his male father, his voice trembling, "You're always like this. You don't care about my female father's death at all. You just want to spread this hatred that should have disappeared long ago!"

Grand Duke Kaven ignored Eli's emotions and instead looked at him with a rather pitying expression. His distant demeanor made the outsider completely unaware that Eli was the only insect offspring born to his only female ruler.

"Evanson has still brainwashed you."

"Mary, from now on, you must take Ellie to her first lesson every day," Grand Duke Cavenor ordered gently to Ellie's caregiver.

“I understand, Your Excellency.” The sub-female nurseryman named Miley bowed respectfully.

Most of the young boys present were from noble families and knew each other well. In fact, because nobles had a custom of intermarriage, most of the young boys present, except for Kam, were related by blood to some extent.

It was common knowledge among all the young boys present that Ellie and Cather, these two cousins, had never gotten along since childhood.

Kam didn't know anything, he just buried his head in Sai Le's arms and cried. He kept crying and crying, and when Sai Le carried him back to the dormitory, he was still crying.

Kam couldn't understand why that little male named Kaiser would say that the female father hated male insects, and he said it so seriously.

But thinking about it carefully, it seems that the female really doesn't like the male. Kamehameha had heard from the female that his male was very rude and a very bad male insect, so he didn't want Kamehameha to play with those low-level male insects.

Kam was frightened by the story just told, and Sai Le did everything he could to stop Kam from crying, but the little boy was still scared.

He was terrified that one day his female parent would lock him in a cage and give him to other big insects.

Kam pushed Sailer out of the room, tiptoed to close the bedroom door, and with tears still clinging to his eyelashes, ran to the window. After thinking it over and over, he finally took out his terminal and dialed the number on the big bug.

Eros had just finished the last practical combat analysis class of the morning. Looking at the other female insects lying scattered on the desks next to him, he gently shook his head.

Eros felt that even if he was disabled, he shouldn't give up on himself like this.

"Why isn't Galilee here for class?" Eros hadn't seen Galilee all morning.

“He was originally a female insect in the Shining Star class. He finished all the courses we are learning now a long time ago. I guess he is still in the training field.” Alai had already started tidying up the textbooks on the table.

"Let's go to the cafeteria together."

Eros put away his textbook and got up to go to the cafeteria with Alai.

As soon as the two insects entered the cafeteria, the terminal on Eros's wrist rang.

As Eros walked to the food window to queue, he opened his terminal.

Is it stuck?

Eros's lips curved into a smile as he thought to himself, "How can this little male be so clingy? He just contacted me this morning."

"Is that little bug clinging to you again?" Alai couldn't help but lean out and urge, "Hurry up and answer it, how can you keep the little boy waiting?"

Eros smiled and opened the terminal.

The little boy on the terminal screen, with tears in his eyes, cried out in a childish voice, "Eros, I'm so scared."

When Eros saw Kam's red and swollen eyes, the smile on his lips gradually disappeared.

"Kamo, why are you crying?"

Eros stared blankly at the little boy who was constantly crying, and lost his appetite. After saying goodbye to Alai, he left the group and went to a quiet place.

"Eros... I'm scared, hiccup, I want to see you." The little boy kept wiping away his tears, large teardrops falling down his face, his voice trembling as he sobbed.

Kamehameha cried incessantly on the other end of the terminal, saying she wanted to see Eros: "They said... the female insects would lock up the males... Kamehameha is so scared, I don't want to believe them, I want Eros to hug me..."

Eros took a deep breath, slowly exhaled, and checked the time. He realized that if he asked for leave now, there were still three weeks before his afternoon class, and he should be able to make it back by taxi.

Eros had promised Commander Enl that he would protect Cam, and he kept his word.

After calming Camus down, Eros immediately found Alai, who was still in line, and told him that he needed to take leave.

After listening, Alai nodded and retrieved a leave approval form from his terminal, sending it to Eros.

"Fill this out first, then send it to me and I'll get it stamped for you."

Eros saw that there was another long line behind him. Alai had finally gotten his food, but now he had to help with the stamping because of his own business. He felt a little guilty: "This time you can't eat on time. I'll bring you food when I get back."

“Okay.” Alai tapped a few times on the terminal, received the leave application form filled out by Eros, and headed to the office building. Soon, Eros received a stamped leave application form from Alai.

After Eros showed his leave request, the guard at the door let him out.

Eros didn't have much time off, so he called a taxi to get back as soon as possible.

The flying machine was many times faster than walking, and Eros soon arrived at the entrance of the Male Insect Academy.

As soon as Eros stepped off the aircraft, he heard insects shooing him away from behind: "You dead insect, get away from here, this is the Male Insect Academy."

Eros stood out conspicuously outside the Male Insect Academy, dressed in his military academy uniform.

Perhaps to protect the young males inside, the sub-female guards of the male insect academy are very annoyed by the appearance of female insects, especially female insects wearing clothes related to military females.

Eros, not wanting to cause trouble, consciously stepped aside and dialed the terminal.

Soon, they heard Kam's joyful shouts, tinged with tears.

"Serre, take me to the school gate." Kam didn't expect Eros to arrive so quickly. He immediately ran out of the room to find Serre.

"Eros has come to see me!"

Sailor was heating up Kam's lunch when he heard Xiao Xiongzi's voice and paused, his eyes widening in disbelief.

After their first day of school, most male insects will be terrified and cry incessantly. At this time, there is no need to pay attention to them. After about a month, they will accept reality and hate the female insects that approach them with ulterior motives.

Hatred of female insects is an unspoken, hidden course in the male insect academy, something every male insect breeder is fully aware of and will not interfere with.

The purpose of this is to let each male larva experience loneliness and betrayal.

The male father of the larvae is fully aware of this, but their female father is completely unaware.

"Kam, little male, do you mean your house bug is waiting for you outside right now?" Sailer was very surprised. Female bugs are always very busy. Even if their bug offspring are so scared that they call them, they would never be able to spare the time to come and comfort them immediately.

“Eros is here, he’s right outside the door!” Kam urged Serlo to lead him to the door.

Eros stood at the entrance of the Male Insect Academy for 10 stars, just as he felt that the guarding sub-females were about to stare several holes through him.

A crisp, clear shout came from afar, ending his "torture".

Kam jumped off the aircraft and ran out of the male insect academy gate, throwing himself into Eros's arms: "Eros, you really came! Kam missed you so much..."

Eros crouched down and hugged Kam. He could clearly feel the little male's trembling body. He was puzzled and worried. The Male Insect Academy should be the place in the entire empire that protected male insects the most strictly. What could make the little male so afraid?

"What happened?"

The little male buried his whole body in the female insect's embrace and rubbed against her. Only after smelling the faint scent on the female insect did his mood gradually calm down.

Kam opened his eyes and looked into his favorite violet eyes, murmuring, "Eros, will you lock Kam in a cage?"

Eros opened his eyes wide, listening to the little boy's seemingly random question, his face showing confusion: "Of course not, why do you think Eros would lock you in a cage?"

After hearing Eros say no, Kamehameha's tense body gradually relaxed, and she buried her small body in the big bug's arms again, whispering in Eros's ear about what had happened that day.

Eros's expression gradually turned serious. He wanted to find the principal and ask him why he was telling these things to the young boys.

Is the goal to teach male insects to hate female insects from a young age?

But Eros knew very well that now was not the time to act impulsively, and he didn't know much about this history, so blindly going to the principal wouldn't get him an explanation.

He gently kissed Kam's forehead, trying his best to soothe Kam's frightened mind:

"Kamo, Commander Enl will always love you."

"I hope that no matter what anyone says to you, Kama will always be able to trust us."

Kamehameha blinked her tear-stained eyelashes and nodded in Eros's arms.

“Eros swore to the Insect God that even at the cost of my life, I will never let what the male insects suffered in that history happen to our Kam.”

The female insect's sincere vow made Kamo's ears itch and his heart itch.

Eros's beautiful face was right in front of him. Kamehameha cupped it with his little paws, lifted it onto his foot, and kissed the female insect's mouth.

Eros's mouth was even softer than the Nebula Candy specially provided for male insects. Kam took a gentle bite and couldn't bear to let go.

A light kiss contained the young boy's truest feelings, and Eros even tasted a hint of sweetness in it.

The female insect obediently squatted on the ground, letting the young male cup her face and kiss her.

Little did they know, this scene was so glaringly obvious to the other two insects.
