EROS [Zerg]

Chapter 22 Sin

Kam looked at the little male insect Ellie sitting next to him in surprise; this male insect was simply unbelievably beautiful.

His Highness Ellie's appearance was as exquisite as a sculpture meticulously sculpted by a skilled craftsman, with skin as white as snow and delicate features. Even when he sat there motionless, his aura was as aloof and cold as frost.

Kam's gaze was drawn to the beautiful male insect, as if sitting next to this little male would make her look inferior.

Ellie felt the male insect cub beside her staring at her, and her delicate brows furrowed. She turned to meet Kam's gaze with displeasure: "Why are you staring at me like that?"

Serer tried to stop Kam's rude behavior, but it was too late; he knew that Prince Elie was already angry.

Ellie's sudden anger left Cameron somewhat at a loss.

“You are the most handsome little male I have ever seen.” Kam realized that he had angered the little male in front of him, and quickly explained, “Your eyes are also a beautiful purple, very pretty.”

"Shut up!" Ellie glared angrily at Camus. "You're incredibly rude."

Kam felt wronged and angry when she was told she was impolite: "Where was I impolite?!"

"Staring at me without permission and commenting on my appearance at will—is this the decorum you have as a male insect?!" Ellie was disgusted by this impudent young male.

Kam was speechless after being blamed, and looked helplessly at Serle, hoping that the female could help him. However, Serle said that she could not help him, but simply picked Kam up and tried to take him to sit in the back.

I suddenly miss Eros.

If Eros were here, he certainly wouldn't let him be bullied.

"Put me down!" Kamu pounded on Sailu's shoulder with his little paws.

Kam insisted, so Seror had no choice but to put Kam on the ground.

So Camus sat down next to Ellie again.

"Why are you sitting here again?!" Ellie asked angrily.

Kamo snorted through his nose: "If no bug had told me I couldn't sit here, I would have sat in the first row. If you don't want to sit with me, then sit in the back."

Looking at Cameron's smug expression, Ellie felt disdain from the bottom of her heart and went to the back row to find a seat.

The worry in Seror's eyes was almost overflowing, but Kam, sitting next to him, didn't notice the sub-female's worry at all. He turned around with a proud look and said, "Even if you are very beautiful, my female insect is more beautiful than you!"

Ellie, the young male, is not only the only S-class male insect in the entire insect race, but also comes from the Kavenor family, the most prestigious noble family in the empire. He is the only insect offspring of Grand Duke Kavenor and is deeply loved by His Majesty the Insect Emperor.

Kam has provoked Prince Eli, and who knows what kind of bullying he will suffer. There are no female insects in the Male Insect Academy, so some high-level male insects always like to tease some low-level male insects.

Many young boys walked into the auditorium one after another.

"I don't want to sit with him." Just as the boys found their seats one after another, Kam heard a shrill shout from behind him.

Kam turned his head and saw that it was a little male calf throwing a tantrum at his nurseryman.

"I don't want to sit with the insect killer's bug offspring!"

This sentence silenced the entire auditorium, followed by whispers that rose and fell among the crowd.

Kam watched as the little male dog pointed at Ellie, who was sitting in the seat, and threw a tantrum.

"Who are you calling an insecticide?!" Ellie slapped away the little male's paw that was pointing at her, glaring at it angrily.

“I’m talking about your female father. He killed male insects. He’s an insect killer. I’m not wrong!” Kaiser shouted.

“My female father is a hero who expanded the empire’s territory, not the insect killer you’re talking about. That dead male insect deserved to die for despising the lives of other female insects!”

"You're a male too! How could you agree to the insect killer's actions!" Cather shrieked, desperately tugging at the nurseryman's sleeve. "I don't want to sit next to him! Get me a different seat!"

The sub-female nursery worker was also in a dilemma. The auditorium was full, so where could he find a seat for this little male?

Cameron watched all this with a cold eye, and seeing the anger on Ellie's face, he even felt a little schadenfreude.

Sailor breathed a slight sigh of relief. He had been worried that Ellie would hold a grudge because of Kam's collision, but now that there was a little boy to share the "firepower," it was definitely a good thing.

Kamo didn't think as much as Serlo; he simply disliked the male insect cub that had just been aggressive towards him.

Just as the two insect larvae were arguing, a series of resounding footsteps came from outside the auditorium.

“That’s very rude of you, Ellie.”

A magnificent-looking adult male insect walked in from outside the door, and almost all the insects fell silent the moment he entered.

"Principal Kaveno." The nurserymen of the young males bowed to the male insects in unison.

Kam looked up at the approaching male insect. This male insect was unusually tall, unlike any adult male insect Kam had ever seen. Principal Kaven's height was almost as tall as the female insect.

Grand Duke Cavon walked up to Elie and said, "Ellie, have you forgotten all the manners of a nobleman?"

“Of course I haven’t forgotten, but Father, I’m defending my dignity as a noble male insect.” Ellie turned and stared at Cather, then looked up at Grand Duke Kaveno and said, “As a male insect, one should have the obligation and responsibility to protect the female insects who have devoted themselves to him.”

“The male insect of the Clyford family is slandering an outstanding female soldier who is risking the empire. At the same time, this falsely accused female soldier is also your female ruler. Father, don’t you have a statement on this?” Eli stared at Grand Duke Kaveno.

“Ellie, it makes sense to protect your female insect, but you have to understand that you are a male insect before you can do it.”

Grand Duke Kavenor pressed the insect claw onto Eli's shoulder: "The male insects are the treasures of the Imperial female insects."

At this point, Grand Duke Cavour's voice suddenly rose, and he took the microphone from a servant beside him, walking towards the podium as he spoke:

"This is also the first lesson I'm going to give to all the little males here today at the opening ceremony of the Male Insect Academy, and it's also the most important lesson."

"My fellow males, you must have heard the saying that every male insect is an invaluable treasure to the insectoid empire."

Kam sat in the front row, his eyes following Grand Duke Cavour, pretending to listen attentively to his teachings, and nodded along with the other young boys.

"But do you know how the male insects obtained this honor?"

“I know.” At that moment, a little male raised his hand high.

"Young Brin, please speak." Grand Duke Caveno raised his hand in a benevolent gesture, gesturing for the young boy to speak.

The young male named Brin immediately stood up: "Because we male insects have pheromones, female insects need our male insect pheromones to receive spiritual comfort."

After the little boy Brin finished speaking, many other little boys raised their hands to answer:

"Because male insects are extremely rare and precious."

"Because female insects can only lay eggs when they are with male insects."

……

……

Listening to the chatter of the little boys around him, Kame couldn't help but raise his paw high:

"Because, because the female insects love us!"

After Kam took the microphone and finished speaking, he noticed that all the male insects and their offspring around him were looking at him, with some ambiguous smiles on their faces.

The little boy seemed a bit lost and hesitated, asking, "Did I say something wrong?"

Upon hearing this, Grand Duke Cavour walked over to Camus, gently patted his shoulder, and said kindly, "Your female father and male father must get along very well, right? What a lucky little male."

Kamo didn't know why Grand Duke Kavenor would ask such a question. It had been taken away by its female father when it was very young and had hardly ever met its male father, so it naturally didn't know how the female father and male father got along.

"Idiot, female insects don't love male insects."

Suddenly, a sarcastic voice came from the group of young boys behind them.

It's that male bug larva named Kaiser from earlier.

Kamo frowned and immediately retorted, "No, my big bug loves me very much."

"The female insects say they love you because you're a male. If you were a female, do you think they would still love you?" Kaiser asked with an air of "insightful wisdom."

"They're just after your pheromones. Have you ever seen female insects love those E-grade and F-grade male insects? Female insects treat them like trash and want to avoid them at all costs."

"That's their own problem." Kam still remembered being bullied by those three D-level and E-level male insects.

Kaiser scoffed, "You've been brainwashed by the female insects! Don't you know about the mass extinction of male insects six hundred years ago?"

"The reason why there are so few male insects now is because of the sins committed by those female insects. Now, in order to obtain pheromones for comfort, they should kneel at the feet of male insects and offer up all the good things to beg for. They should be doing it!"

Kam looked at the young male Kaiser with a blank expression, he really didn't know what Kaiser meant by the death of the male insect.

Kam looked up at Grand Duke Kavenor standing beside him and asked in confusion, "Principal, why did the male insects die off in large numbers six hundred years ago?"

Similarly, those around him who hadn't heard of this matter also turned their gazes to Grand Duke Caven: "Principal, tell us about it!"

Grand Duke Kaveno looked at the group of insect offspring below, nodded, and walked back to the podium. His voice was solemn as he said, "Every male insect in the Empire should know, and must never forget, the painful lesson left by our ancestors six hundred years ago."

Six hundred years ago is not a long time for the insectoid race, whose average lifespan is two to three hundred years; it was just a matter of the generation of these young males' grandfathers.

That was an extremely painful lesson in the history of the Zerg. It not only caused the number of male Zerg, which was originally almost equal to that of female Zerg, to plummet, leading to the current situation of a huge imbalance between male and female Zerg, but also caused the two sexes of Zerg to harbor resentment towards each other, and the contradictions were invisibly aggravated.
