EROS [Zerg]

Eros had heard some of the details of Commander Enl's past experiences in his messages.

For example, during his student days, he had a female insect lover with whom he had a deep affection, but just before graduation, he learned that the lover had been tortured and killed by a male insect.

Eros thought that Commander Ener must harbor resentment.

This hatred is likely not just directed at the male insects.

"Are we all born sinful?"

"..."

En'er paused, his grip on the steering wheel tightening unconsciously: "Perhaps."

Eros didn't say anything more and followed Enl back to the house where he had lived more than a year ago.

“You can stay here for the next few days. I’ll keep an eye on things at school for you. Cam is on holiday too, so please take care of him for a few more days.” Ener opened the door and handed the key to Eros. “I have some business to attend to at the military headquarters, so I have to go back in a bit.”

"Father-in-law?" A crisp, tender voice came from inside the house, and soon a small head peeked out from behind the door.

“Kamo…” Eros hadn’t seen Kam for a while. When he saw the little boy again, he noticed that Kam had grown a little taller and there was something else that he couldn’t quite put his finger on.

“Father, he is… Eros?!” Kam stared at the female insect outside the door for a while before recognizing that the person standing outside was Eros.

What surprised Kame the most, more than Eros's sudden appearance at his doorstep, was that the female insect had actually cut off her long, beautiful hair, which was as radiant as sunlight.

Kam opened his eyes wide and looked at Eros standing at the door. He heard his father-in-law bend down and say to him, "Eros will take care of you for the next few days. Your father-in-law will give you some pocket money. If you want to go anywhere, you can ask him to take you."

"Hmm." Kam nodded, hugged Enel's neck and kissed him on the cheek: "When can Father take a vacation and spend time with me?"

"The female father is getting a promotion, so he'll be very busy these few days. Once he's done with that, he should be able to take Kam to the amusement park and send Kam to the male insect academy before school starts."

“Alright.” Kam nodded. He didn’t ask Enel to agree on the terms, nor did he look at Eros standing next to Enel again.

Kam pouted and ran barefoot back to the sofa to watch TV.

"It's probably because he's been exposed to too many noble males at the Male Insect Academy that his personality isn't as clingy as it used to be," Enel said to Eros in a low voice, looking helplessly at Camus, who was engrossed in watching cartoons.

"Kam, little Xiongzi has grown up."

After Enel left, Eros did not disturb Carme.

After standing in the living room for five minutes and seeing that Xiao Xiongzi didn't seem to care about him, he went to his old room and started tidying it up.

Pushing open the door, Eros saw that the room he used to live in was not much different from before, except that some of the furniture was covered with a layer of dust.

Commander Ener doesn't often stay in this house, so it's been vacant for a long time.

Suddenly, Eros looked up at the digital clock on the wall. It was already noon; it was time to prepare lunch.

He walked out of the room, peeked out, and saw Xiao Xiongzi sitting on the sofa, holding a bag of snacks and watching cartoons.

The crunching sound of the puffed snacks made Eros unsure whether he was hungry or in a bad mood.

"Kamo, what do you want to eat for lunch?"

"Hmph!" Kam turned his head away, ignoring Eros, and crunched the snack he had stuffed into his mouth.

Eros now knows that the male insect offspring is angry.

Eros didn't say anything, but silently went into the kitchen. After rummaging through the kitchen, he used the ingredients he found to make a light-flavored baby porridge and a heavily flavored star beast meat rice for the insect cubs.

"Kamo, let's eat." Eros placed both dishes in front of Kamo on the table.

Kam looked at the food in front of her, then at Eros standing behind it. Her little eyebrows furrowed, and she turned to the side, hugging her snacks angrily, saying, "I don't want to eat what you made!"

Although Eros didn't know what Cam was angry about, his understanding of the nature of male insects meant that Eros wasn't greatly affected by Cam's change in attitude.

Eros told Camus to order food from the terminal, then looked down at the food on the table. Since Camus wasn't going to eat it, he couldn't let it go to waste.

He poured the two portions of food together, grabbed a spoon, and prepared to eat. The two portions of food were just right for him, a female insect who had just returned from the hospital.

"You're not allowed to eat!" Kam looked at Eros angrily.

Eros put down the spoon in his left paw and calmly looked at the angry male insect cub in front of him. He had no intention of coaxing Kama. It wasn't that he didn't know how to coax the insect cub, but that he really didn't have the mind to do so right now.

Having experienced so much in just a few days, Eros now only wants to focus on himself and doesn't want to spare a single thought for the sensitive and impulsive insect cub.

"Why didn't you come to see me? You were already in the first star system, but you didn't tell me or come to see me!" Kama pouted, seeing that Eros showed no intention of caring for him as before. He couldn't hold back any longer and started asking questions, completely forgetting the method that Ellie had told him to ignore female insects to make them anxious!

"Too busy."

Eros answered casually.

This greatly displeased Kamo Xiaoxiongzi: "No matter how busy you are, you don't even have time to call me?!"

"You haven't contacted me either, have you?" Eros replied calmly.

Indeed, he didn't communicate with Eros afterward because Eli Kaven said that he always eagerly tried to communicate with Eros, but the other party's attitude was overly perfunctory. If he wanted to prove that the female insect cared about him, of course he had to get the female insect to communicate with him on its own initiative.

"I called all of these for you!"

"..." Eros didn't think he had any status or obligation to communicate with a male insect offspring frequently, and of course, he didn't have that much energy.

After saying that, Eros prepared to take the plate to the kitchen.

"Eros!" Kam stood up on the sofa, and seeing Eros's perfunctory attitude, he jumped barefoot from the sofa to the floor to grab the female insect.

He used to be able to jump up and grab Eros's forearm, but this time he missed.

Eros' loose sleeves were empty underneath.

Camus, clutching his empty right sleeve, looked helplessly at Eros:
