But he had never attended such a grand banquet of nobles before. The only banquets he had attended before were small ones at school where noble male insects would come to visit once or twice.

Eros didn't even have a dress to wear to the banquet.

"Letting an ignorant female insect attend this kind of banquet... that's really inhuman." The Eastlan family only gave Eros an address and a time, without giving him any other hints.

Thinking of this, Eros opened his account and counted the star coins in his account, only to find that he had only 50,000 star coins left.

The female insect, who had been standing by the flowerbed in the square looking at something, put down the small metal rod in her claws after hearing Eros's voice, turned her head and smiled: "Oh, it's Eros. Are you here because of the banquet?"

Eros was surprised that Kowi had already guessed his purpose before he even explained his visit.

“Yes,” Eros nodded sheepishly. “I would like to ask Major Cardian for some advice.”

“He will be a good teacher.” Kowe nodded, then changed the subject: “Luo Lanxiong will arrive on the main star tomorrow. The Imperial Royal Academy of Science and Technology will conduct further medical examinations for him. Since you and Luo Lanxiong have a high genetic match, you will come along as well.”

Eros nodded, though reluctantly, he knew he had no other choice.

After agreeing to Kowe's request, Eros left to find Cardian.

When Eros met Kadian, he was holding Ai and using toys to lure the little female cubs to beckon to Eros.

The female cub is much heavier than when I saw her a few days ago.

“The female cub grows faster than the male cub. When he can eat star beast meat, he will grow even faster, changing his appearance every two or three days.” Kadian put Xiao Ai on the ground and walked towards his room with Eros, watching his insect cub crawl on the carpeted floor.

It was thin and small, like a stunted little insect.

Looking at Eros's obviously oversized clothes, Cardian guessed that the female insects outside rarely had clothing that fit Eros in his size.

“If you don’t mind, I can give you one of my old outfits.” Cardian opened the wardrobe and pulled out a dark green dress from the bottom corner: “This is what I wore before I completed my second differentiation. You can try it on.”

Female insects undergo two differentiations in their lifetime. During the period between the first and second differentiations, the female insect's body grows extremely rapidly, usually reaching adult size within five or six years. Therefore, new clothes typically need to be replaced after only a few months.

Eros looked at the neatly folded clothes that Cardian handed him and happily accepted them.

"Why did you get your name tattooed on your body?" Cardian asked curiously, stepping forward and tapping the tattoo with his paw. "What kind of fetish is this?"
