When Brandt heard this unfamiliar word, he realized that it was something that was really too far removed from him.

So far away that he couldn't even muster the necessary reaction.

But Lian Zhen noticed Brandt's "coldness," and his hands trembled slightly as he tried his best to hide his disappointment.

After coming out of the bathroom, Brandt dressed and sat on the balcony, looking out at the layout of Feng Qiya's mansion.

How long can you stay here?

"We'll be leaving in a bit." Brandt grabbed Lian Zhen's collar and pressed his lips to the female insect's mouth: "Come with me."

Lian Zhen obediently savored the kisses of the love bug until she was satisfied, then lazily lifted her eyelashes:

"Follow you?"

"Perhaps you can take my corpse from under the feet of Patriarch Feng Qiya."

“I want you alive, to be mine.” Brandt knocked on the window: “Your lord returned last night.”

"We made quite a commotion last night, so guess why your master hasn't come to catch us in the act yet?"

Brandt tilted his head and bit Lian Zhen's neck: "Dare to come with me?"

"Where are you taking me?" Lian Zhen touched the bite mark on her neck with her paw, leaning against Brandt's legs in a wanton manner.

“Let’s go to your favorite place.” Brandt touched the calluses on Lian Zhen’s claws. Despite the years that had passed, the calluses on the female insect’s claws, left by excessive practice, were still rough.

Brandt loved Lian Zhen's claws the most. From his childhood admiration to his current nostalgia, he cherished Lian Zhen's calluses.

"Will there be the latest star-hole space jump engine and quantum nuclear fusion energy storage core there?"

Brandt was speechless: "Do you think the academy would keep dangerous technology that's still in the experimental stage and hasn't been put into use?"

"Moreover, this technology is only being researched by the Imperial Royal Science and Technology Institute..." Brandt was somewhat embarrassed, as he had never been able to show off his expertise in front of Lian Zhen.

Lian Zhen liked Brandt's expression. He slowly crawled from beside Brandt's legs to in front of him, bringing the whole insect close to the love insect's face: "Then how about I give it to you?"

"Give it to me?" Brandt waited quietly for Lian Zhen to continue.

“I know you hate Kowe, which is why you resigned from the Imperial Academy of Science and Technology.” Lian Zhen stroked Brandt’s cheek and lay on the female’s chest, her voice languid and slow as she said, “I have a laboratory under my name, I’ll give it to you.”

"Give it away for free?" Brandt played with Lian Zhen's hair.

"Of course not." Lian Zhen leaned closer, pressing her forehead against Brandt's, and teased in a malicious voice, "You haven't seen my insect form yet, have you, since we've combined our insect forms once?"

“No.” Brandt tried to kiss the female insect in front of him, but she dodged him.

"These bugs are really scary."

“Tracing my ancestry, I belong to a branch of the Aphrodite lineage, and our ancestors had the custom of eating their partners.”

Lian Zhen deliberately spoke in a terrifying tone.

Brandt remained unfazed by the threats and scoffed, "Do you have twelve eyes too?"

“No, but I’m just as greedy as my ancestors.” Lian Zhen touched the female’s face, her eyes blatantly seductive: “What I like, I must devour completely, and I won’t allow any insects to touch it.”

"So beautiful." Brandt Lianzhen struck a pose in front of him.

Lian Zhen shook the water droplets from her hair and hugged the clothes that the female had thrown at her. "Didn't you just say that Patriarch Feng Qiya had already returned? You slept with his female lord, aren't you afraid he'll report you to the Male Insect Protection Association?"

"Do you want to die with me?"

“If that’s the case, I have a great idea.” Lian Zhen’s eyes crinkled into a smile: “I’ll set a fire and burn this place down. I can even turn into insects in the fire for you to see. In the end, we’ll all be burned to ashes and mixed together, inseparable.”

“That sounds really weird.” Brandt shrugged, picked up the terminal that had been thrown on the ground, and saw that the female insect had just made the call.

“If you don’t come with me, I’ll have the bug come and pick me up.” Brandt dialed back, and soon Eros’s eager voice came from the other end. Brandt gave Eros the address.

The female insect in the communication had a clear, melodious voice and a docile demeanor.

The male insect is certainly not so docile, the female insect...

In Lian Zhen's memory, apart from the offspring having an innate dependence on the adults, there are almost no female insects that are so docile towards other adult female insects.

As soon as Brandt made the call, Lian Zhen pressed him with an unfriendly expression:

Lian Zhen, with a sour face and raised eyebrows, asked, "Am I good-looking?"

"With that face, he could choose any male insect from the main planet, if he wanted."

"What?" Lian Zhen suddenly seemed to choke, a huge sense of crisis surging into her heart.

“He’ll come pick me up in his aircraft in a little while.” Brandt walked to the door, turned around, and asked, “Are you coming with me?”

Lian Zhen quickly put on her clothes. Hearing Brandt's words, she stepped forward and stood in front of the door frame, looking down at Brandt. His sinister voice was filled with ruthlessness: "Go, I dare to go with you, but I don't know if you have the guts to take me away."

Brandt stretched out his claws and grabbed the female insect's collar. "You're quite bold, unlike the rumors that you're so cowardly."

"Since you've said that, I'm going to take you away. You won't have a chance to regret it." With that, his sharp claws ripped open the buttons on Lian Zhen's chest.

Brandt pulled the female insect, who was half a shoulder taller than him, into his arms, picked her up horizontally, casually kicked open the door, and strode into the line of sight of the insects crouching outside the door.

Brandt ignored the strange looks around him and carried Lian Zhen down the steps. Brandt had been carrying heavy parts for many years and was much stronger than the average sub-female, so carrying the tall female insect in his arms was not difficult for him.

As he walked up the last step, he saw the male insect, Sabin von Chia, sitting on the sofa with a gloomy expression that seemed to drip water.

"Lord Brandt, where do you intend to take my queen with you?"
