"Rhinecente?!"

The Dales Insect Emperor stared in horror at the female insect that had suddenly appeared in his room.

"How did you get into my room?! How did you get in?!"

Dalles recognized the female insect; her name was Rheincent, one of the four great generals of the empire.

Dalles didn't know many female insects, but he did have some impression of this one named Rheincent.

Ina used to dislike him but respected him. Dalles didn't know why, but his impression of Rhinecent was that she was a very old-fashioned female soldier.

But... if he were truly rigid in his personality, why would he break into the male insect's room in the middle of the night?

Darles sensed danger. The male insect's sense of smell was more acute during the day, even in the darkness. He seemed to smell a faint scent of blood in the air.

Darles was terrified. He suddenly jumped off the bed onto the floor and reached for the light switch with his claws.

The light illuminated the room, allowing the male insect to clearly see the female.

The female insect's face didn't look very clean. When Darles took a closer look, the whole insect shuddered.

"Did you kill the insect, or are you injured?" The male insect's voice grew softer and softer, almost like a mosquito's hum.

Upon hearing this, Rheincent laughed heartily: "My dear Insect Emperor, you are still as naive and foolish as ever."

As he spoke, Rheincent pulled a bloody "thing" from beside the bed.

After Dallas saw what it was, his two insect legs almost went limp. The "thing" he recognized was the guard who brought him food every day.

"What are you going to do? No... don't hurt me, I haven't done anything wrong." Darles retreated in panic, begging for mercy.

“No, Your Majesty the Insect Emperor, please don’t be afraid.” Rheincent walked to Dales’ side, bent down and knelt down to whisper in his ear, “I am not like Ina, a female insect who would bully and imprison male insects.”

"Doesn't Your Majesty want freedom?"

Rheincent lifted Dalles's insect leg from the ground and gently kissed the male insect's noble instep: "You only need to do me one favor: lure the little golden-haired female next to the insect king to see me tomorrow."

The female insect's behavior has seriously crossed the line of normal interaction between male and female insects.

This behavior is considered a serious violation of male insect rights by male insect protection associations.

This is blatant sexual harassment of the Empire's precious male insects.

"What are you going to do?" Dalles was somewhat angry, but more than that, he was afraid and confused.

“Actually, whether Your Majesty helps me or not won’t have much impact on my plans.” Rheincent showed no anger on his face, but his words sent chills down the spines of the male insects.

"Given that the male insect's nucleus is only the size of a nut kernel, I'll give you a minute to think about whether you want to accept my suggestion."

“I won’t agree.” Dallas shook his head like a rattle-drum.

"Then you will die."

Rheincent's words made Dalles turn pale with fright. "I am a male insect...you can't kill me, killing me would be a loss to the Empire..."

"Then what do you want to do?"

Rheincent spread his arms wide, quite pleased with himself: "I want to be the President of the New United States!"

Darles shook his head: "You're lying! You're not talking about equality, you're talking about autocracy! And what you want isn't equality, you want to seize power and become the Insect King!"

I won't help you!

Rheincent raised an eyebrow, bent down and lifted Darles' chin, pressing the laser gun in his claw against the male insect's head: "Male sir, your pheromones smell very good, which is enough for me to say a few more words, but only a few words. I am very patient, but I am always stingy with unnecessary objects."

“All you need to do is bring that insect larva to me, and you will share the final results. Darles, you only have a minute to think.”

The laser gun was pressed hard against Dallas's head, and the male insect felt his whole body tremble. His eyes became filled with fear and confusion.

The next day, the golden-haired, purple-eyed chick gently hooked its tiny paws onto the male's soft, chubby paws: "Dales, where are you taking me?"

When Evanson woke up early in the morning, he heard a guard come to him and say that the Dales Insect Emperor wanted to see him and had something very important to tell him.

"Dales... your paws are so cold, are you sick?"

The male insect paused, staring at the room at the end of the corridor, utterly terrified. If Rhinecent could harm a male insect, what would he do to this female offspring?

Could it be that he killed Evanson to provoke Ina?

He had heard before that female insects were extremely cruel when the males couldn't see them... Darles looked down at the cub beside him, which placed its claws on his claws with great trust.

“Evanson.” Darles’ eyes suddenly reddened as he crouched down to look at the cub. “I’m really scared, but I’m really not a bad bug. My female father has always taught me very well.”

Rheincent was amused by the male insect's bluntness. He leaned down and whispered in the male insect's ear, "Your Majesty, didn't your female father tell you that being a good insect comes at a price?"

"What...what are you going to do?!" Dallas stared in horror at Rheincent's outstretched claws.

“You should pay the price for breaking your promise.” Rheincent grabbed Dalles by the collar and dragged the male insect into the room at the end of the corridor.

"No, no... let me go!!"

The male insect's struggling cries went unanswered; he should have known long ago that the guards in this jeweled palace had probably been secretly replaced by Rheincent.

"Your Majesty, we will have enough power to punish you."

Rhinecent tossed the male insect onto the luxurious sofa in the room and chuckled to the female insects around him, "As punishment for breaking your promise, relieve our mental energy."

There were more than a dozen female insects in the room, their eyes fixed on the male insects, their expressions varied, some mocking, some greedy, and even some hateful.

But now, the eyes of these female insects are all gleaming green like those of hungry wolves.

“No…” Dallas’s body trembled violently as he desperately protested, “You are committing a crime!”
