Chapter 145 The Past of the Insect King (1)

Evanson Eastland was "given" to Ina by his female father, Kowe, when he was still an egg.

The director of the Imperial Academy of Science and Technology had only experiments in his eyes.

During an inspection, Ina saw Kowe, who had already opened the unhatched insect eggs, holding a dropper and preparing to puncture the inner membrane of the eggs to extract the egg liquid for testing.

The passing Insect King immediately twitched his eye and questioned Kowe about where he got the insect eggs. Didn't he know that the Insect Planet's Larval Protection Law was the second most important law after the Male Insect Protection Law?

Kowe hates being disturbed by insects when he's doing experiments. "I'm just taking some egg liquid, I'm not going to kill it, and unhatched offspring are not protected by the offspring protection law."

Are you still a female insect?

Therefore, the two female insects had a big fight. On the entire insect planet, there are only a handful of female insects who dare to argue with Ina, and Kowe is one of them.

The two high-level female insects had a terrible fight; they almost destroyed Kowe's entire laboratory.

Ina, who had narrowly won, returned to Sepoliu Castle with a sour face, carrying the insect egg with a crack in it.

The insect king, who had never had any offspring before, began to experience a life of "hardship" he had never imagined.

Watching the egg liquid gradually transform into a fully formed worm inside the thin inner membrane, Ina felt both apprehensive and incredibly loving.

Because of the unpleasantness with the Dales Insect Emperor, Dales was no longer willing to provide Ina with pheromones, and naturally, they never conceived their own insect offspring.

So this "poor" insect egg received care from a female insect who was not its father.

Ina always remembered the heartwarming moment when that tiny pink claw, covered in a thin layer of egg yolk, broke through the inner membrane of the insect egg and grasped its own claw as it explored.

Female insects always hatch in an inverted state.

"You little ingrate." Ina cursed under her breath as her claws were pierced by the cub's tail. Just as she was about to flick the annoying tail barb away, a small insect head with big eyes popped out from the torn eggshell membrane and met Ina's eyes.

Looking at the little female cub whose exoskeleton had not yet hardened, Ina noticed that its almost transparent little body had a pale pink hue.

“Quite a pretty little thing.” The young insect king stroked the little female’s bald head, which was so empty that Ina could almost see the tiny insect core inside.

The little female raised her head and rubbed against Ina's fingertip, then bit down and forcefully pulled her entire body out of the eggshell, first her slender arms and legs, and finally her long tail hook hidden beneath her.

The little female, with a body no bigger than a palm, lay in Ina's palm. He looked curiously at the tall female insect in front of him, and then spread his eight insect legs and crawled casually on the female insect's body.

"Alright, now behave yourself!"

It took Ina a lot of effort to catch this naughty little bug. He never expected that the bug would be so difficult to catch.

The female cubs are wild and untamed; they crawl all over the house as soon as they hatch.

"Evanson, come out!" Unable to find him, Ina could only carefully close the door and search his rather large bedroom bit by bit, afraid that she might accidentally step on the little female and send her to meet the Insect God.

Several months passed in the blink of an eye, and the middle-aged Insect King frowned as he accurately pulled out the little female cub hidden in the wardrobe: "Evanson, this is the third time today."

"Father~~" The little female insect, whose teeth hadn't even all fallen out yet, tumbled off the ground, clinging to the female insect's arm and begging for mercy.

“No way.” Ina said sternly, but still held the little female in her arms: “I am not your father. As a female insect of the Eastland family, you must address me as Your Majesty the Insect Queen.”

"Father, Father, Father!" Evanson disliked the long name "Your Majesty the Insect King" and angrily protested to Ina. His restless body was giving Ina a headache.

Kuwait is a real bastard.

After Ina brought the insect eggs back to Sepoliu Castle, Kowe, the female father of Evanson, didn't even glance at them, completely leaving the insect offspring to be cared for by the insect king.

Ina thought that probably only a bug like Kowe in this world would be so shameless.

However, raising female pups isn't all it takes; sometimes there are benefits too.

For example, it would be very rewarding if the baby insects were smart.

The love that female insects naturally project onto their offspring can alleviate their mental strain, and although it is not as effective as the male insect's pheromones, it is still quite useful.

After years of cold war with the male lord, if it weren't for the adorable female insect cub in her arms, Ina doesn't know if she would have succumbed to Darles due to a mental breakdown.

After raising the little female for a long time, Ina almost forgot that Evanson was a female insect of the Eastland family, and that her female and male fathers were still alive.

So when the Eastland family wanted to take Evanson back, Ina felt as if a piece of her heart had been ripped out.

“A trap!” Ina pinched Evanson’s cheek and accused, “You’re a big trap!”

"You and those insects from the Eastland family don't actually think I'd miss you, do they? Trying to play the sentimental card with me? Alright, little thing, pack your things and get back now! I won't give them a single penny because of you!"

On that day, Evanson Eastland, along with the eggshell from which he was born, was packed up and sent to the Eastland family to pick up the insect that was Evanson.

"The Insect King sent you back so readily; it seems you're quite disliked by the insects," said the female insect that came to pick up Evanson.

"Squeak!" The little female didn't like being insulted like that and protested anxiously.

The words of the female insect of the Eastland family happened to fall into Ina's ears, and that night the insect queen was so anxious that she couldn't sleep.

Nobles don't treat female insect offspring with the same patience they have for male insects.

Ina saw Evanson Eastland again five months after he was sent away, when the noble families came together to attend the royal ball of Emperor Dales.

The female insect cubs, wrapped in gorgeous clothes, were led around and introduced to the other noble male insects who had also joined the association.

Young Evanson Eastland was unaware that he had been placed on the scales of a power struggle, and if the other party offered a substantial reward, he would be betrothed to one of the male insects at the banquet as either a future queen or a concubine.

The young female insect didn't know, but Ina, as an adult female insect, knew very well.

Evanson Eastland was quite beautiful, with pure violet eyes and a beautiful, wild thorn-like marking on the back of her neck, which had already attracted the attention of many male insects present.

Ina looked at the baby insect with worry in her eyes.

Suddenly, Evanson, standing in the ballroom, seemed to sense something. He looked up at the Insect King sitting on the high seat and shouted loudly under Ina's astonished gaze:

"Father! So this is where you are! I've been looking for you for so long!"
