EROS [Zerg]

Chapter 110 The Male Insect's Awakening

Abaisong, sitting in a wheelchair, was pushed in front of Eros by Long, who said to him in his still kind voice, "You may not be used to it yet, but the Sixth Star System is indeed the territory within the Empire that respects female insects the most."

Eros nodded in agreement, saying, "Commander Enel once said that female insects should unite more closely and protect each other in order to fight for the benefits and respect that female insects deserve."

"The sixth star system is indeed different from what I have seen in other star systems. The female insects can live in a more relaxed environment."

"But how long can this kind of life last?" Eros was filled with anxiety about the future of the Sixth Star System.

"There has been more than one discussion about the rights of the abandoned sixth star system females exceeding those of females in other star systems. Under these circumstances, how long can the current sixth star system continue to exist?"

“Eros.” Abaisong interrupted Eros’s uneasy questions, emphasizing, “Females are the most numerous insects in the Zerg. Just like Enel told you, as long as we are united enough, we will fight for even more dignity.”

Eros was somewhat surprised: "You want to get even more?"

“Yes, the status of the female insects is far from enough right now; we need to fight for more.” Abaisong nodded.

Eros was not convinced: "But the male insects living in other star systems will not agree, especially the Male Insect Protection Association. They can't just stand by and do nothing."

Sephis, listening to Eros's concerns, disagreed: "How can other star systems interfere in the affairs of the Sixth Star System?"

Eros blinked, looking surprised.

The female insects, seeing Eros's bewildered expression, assumed he hadn't yet adapted to the characteristics of the Sixth Star System.

"Besides pursuing glory, the most important thing for us female insects is to take control of our own destiny. If those male insect protection associations want to destroy our current sixth star system, we will defend our home with our lives."

Eros nodded in agreement, but in reality, he couldn't empathize with these female insects.

He couldn't feel that fervent heart.

Eros's gaze fell on the male insect Long pushing Abai Song's wheelchair behind him.

When the female insects were chattering around him, Eros didn't see a single happy expression on Long's face.

It was a silent, quiet protest.

Eros's gaze fell on the male insect, who picked up an unopened bottle of beverage from the table and poured it into a wine glass as if drinking wine. With a feigned sullen expression, he enjoyed his most peaceful morning as a male insect.

Young insects are always full of energy. Even though they played late last night, the daytime is still precious and shouldn't be wasted on sleeping.

The revelry continued into the night.

Long had just picked up her drink when she noticed Eros staring at her.

That look in her eyes initially made him subconsciously mistakenly believe that the female insect had also taken a liking to him.

After all, in the Sixth Star System, a B-grade male insect was already considered a high-level male insect.

Since Eros is really good-looking, he wouldn't mind having a drink with this female insect.

"Your name is Eros?" Long pushed the glass of her drink toward the seat next to her.

Eros naturally understood that the male insect was inviting him.

Coincidentally, he also had some questions he wanted to ask the male insect.

Eros sat down next to Long and took the drink that the male insect offered him.

Long raised an eyebrow: "You've been staring at me the whole time. Is there something you want to tell me?"

Eros held the cup in his paws, looking somewhat embarrassed and ashamed: "Longxiongzi is very different from the male insects I've seen before, so I'm very curious."

"Curious?" Long tilted her head, revealing a set of white teeth, and cupped her face in front of Eros. "So what do you think is different about me?"

“If it had been any other male insect here just now, it would have been very angry to hear what you just said, but you weren’t.”

Long's face froze for a moment, but she quickly recovered: "So, what do you want to say to me?"

Eros downed the drink in one gulp, then placed the glass on the bar:

"I was wondering if your attitude might be related to the unique political and cultural environment of the Sixth Galaxy. When I was in other galaxies, I was always curious about what the male insects in the Sixth Galaxy thought of the 'Sixth Galaxy Empire Insect Star Citizen Code of Conduct'."

When Long heard Eros's question, she didn't answer directly, but shrugged: "I don't know."

"I'm just a male insect. As long as I'm well taken care of by the female insects, why should I think so much?"

Long found Eros's question utterly boring, so she turned halfway around and hummed to Eros, "I'm a B-grade male insect. I can live quite well in any star system. It's all the same to me wherever I go."

"I'm not like those lowly male insects. I wasn't born to earn my living through hard work. I'd rather starve than work, so why should I think about those other things?"

“But I sense you are not happy…” Eros looked quietly at the male prince: “You are not telling the truth.”

Long seemed to have heard something ridiculous, "Since when can telling the truth be related to feelings?"

"Besides, why should I be unhappy just because you think I'm in a bad mood?"

Eros was unable to answer Longxiongzi's question for a moment, and could only stare at him stubbornly: "So you really don't care at all about what the female insects said just now?"

Long thought that although Eros was a very beautiful female insect, she was really bad at sensing the emotions of male insects: "You female insect are really strange. Are you worried that I will report you to the male insect protection association because you keep asking me these questions?"

Long thought it was rare to see a female insect like Eros who was new to the area and still had a silly look on her face. After all, there were very few male insects in the sixth star system, and they were all low-level guys. Female insects from other star systems were unwilling to come.

As a clever male insect, Long knew very well that to live safely and comfortably here, he needed to learn to reach some unspoken agreement with the female insects, an agreement that both sides understood.

Eros's question made him seem like a clueless fool. Longzhen wanted to remind him not to bring his impressions of the Male Insect Protection Association from other star systems here. After all, the high-ranking females in the Male Insect Protection Association here didn't favor low-ranking males.

"The Male Insect Protection Association of the Sixth Star System isn't that diligent. After all, the insects there are all females. Why would they let the females there threaten other females to protect the males?"

Long stirred the juice with ice and sugar in front of her with a straw, looking at the female insect sitting thoughtfully in her seat: "The fructose from the Sixth Star System is quite good. If your insect nymph likes sweets, you can send some back to him."
