Chapter 47

The crowd erupted in uproar!

The private room was in a mess. Prince Cheng was disheveled, and Shen Lingjun was kneeling next to him. She had just taken the hairpin out of her hair, so half of her hair was loose.

Looking at the scene before me, it really does seem to be just as Qin Shuangya described!

This is a case where the sister-in-law was having an affair and was caught red-handed by her husband's younger sister!

"Give way! Give way!"

Two of Prince Cheng's guards squeezed through the crowd.

They were all drinking on the first floor of the restaurant. While their master was enjoying himself upstairs, they kept watch nearby—this was standard procedure.

Hearing the commotion upstairs, they rushed up.

Upon seeing Prince Cheng lying on the floor in the private room, the two guards were immediately terrified and their souls nearly left their bodies!

"Your Highness! Your Highness, what's wrong!"

Taking advantage of the situation, Qin Shuangya pointed at Shen Lingjun and screamed, "She's the one who killed the Prince! Arrest her!"

The two guards panicked, their minds going completely blank for a moment.

Judging from the situation in the private room, Shen Lingjun is indeed the most suspicious person!

"Well... let's arrest her first!"

The two approached Shen Lingjun, who stood up with an icy expression.

Qin Shuangya's reaction today was unusually quick; she immediately thought of throwing mud at her.

But is it too naive to try and frame her like that?

Shen Lingjun said calmly, "Calm down. The Prince is not dead yet, but if you arrest me, he will definitely die."

After saying that, she ignored the two guards, picked up the silver hairpin in her hand, and stabbed it into Prince Cheng's Changqiang and Renzhong acupoints.

Everyone was startled by her, and Qin Shuangya screamed, "What are you doing!"

She yelled at the two guards, "What are you standing there like idiots! Didn't you see what she was doing?! That's a weapon! She's stabbing the Prince in the face with a weapon, and you're just standing there watching! Arrest her right now!"

The two guards were terrified and instinctively stepped forward to pull Shen Lingjun away, but at that moment, Prince Cheng's body suddenly twitched noticeably!

Everyone exclaimed in surprise: "He's alive! He's alive!"

Shen Lingjun decisively ordered a guard: "You, come here and give the Prince a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation! Your master isn't dead. Whether he can be completely brought back to life depends on you!"

Then he instructed another guard, "Go and fetch a doctor! Be quick!"

Her tone was resolute, carrying an invisible but convincing authority. The two guards felt a chill and subconsciously obeyed her orders, doing as she said.

One of them ran quickly to fetch a doctor, while the other stepped forward to perform artificial respiration on Prince Cheng.

Shen Lingjun continued to apply acupuncture points to Prince Cheng. Since there were no moxa sticks in the restaurant, she had someone find locust wood to use as a substitute for moxibustion.

Qin Shuangya watched from the side, her heart pounding with fear and her mind in a state of extreme panic.

She originally thought that Prince Cheng was dead, so she could frame Shen Lingjun however she wanted.

But now, if Shen Lingjun really manages to wake up Prince Cheng, wouldn't that mean that her premarital loss of virginity would be exposed?

She had come today to a romantic date she had always imagined, never expecting that Prince Cheng was only trying to seduce her.

Even if she was in a daze, she knew that if she had an affair before marriage, she could forget about becoming the legal wife. The best outcome would be to be carried into the Prince Cheng's mansion in a sedan chair as a concubine!

But she had no desire to be a concubine! She was the legitimate daughter of a noble family and was destined to be the principal wife; she absolutely refused to be a concubine to Prince Cheng!
