After the divorce, Mr. Gu spent every day at the crematorium.

Hearing Gu Tianyou question her whereabouts, Shen Yao frowned: "Mr. Gu, this is none of your business."

After saying that, she turned and left the ward.

"Shen Yao, where are you going? Come back here!"

Watching Shen Yao's departing figure, Gu Tianyou, disregarding the bandages still wrapped around his head, got out of bed and went to chase after her.

Ye Yingying was frightened by his unusual behavior.

"Brother Tianyou, Yaoyao has some things to do at school, but she'll come back tomorrow!"

Just as Gu Tianyou was about to leave the bed and rush to the door, Ye Yingying grabbed his wrist in time.

"Yingying, let me go! We can't let this woman just leave like this!"

Gu Tianyou didn't even look back at Ye Yingying, who was already leaning out of the wheelchair to grab his wrist.

All he knew was that he had to hurry and catch up with Shen Yao.

In the struggle, he broke free from Ye Yingying's hand and quickly chased after her.

As Gu Tianyou disappeared from her sight, Ye Yingying rushed to grab him, but fell off her wheelchair.

She struggled to her feet and cried out with all her might, "Brother Tianyou, come back!"

A passing nurse saw this and quickly ran in to help her up.

Ye Yingying stopped her.

"Nurse, could you please call that person with the bandage wrapped around their head back? Tell them I fell and I really need him! Please!"

The nurse was moved to see that even though she was in such a sorry state, she was still thinking of others. She nodded repeatedly and went out to chase after her.

Gu Tianyou hadn't gone far when he was stopped by a nurse who was chasing after him.

"Sir, your friend has fallen and she wants you to go back!"

Gu Tianyou said without turning his head, "Please go and take care of her first, I have other things to do!"

Before the nurse could respond, Gu Tianyou quickened his pace and ran towards the elevator.

Just as Shen Yao's elevator doors were about to close, Gu Tianyou forcefully pried them open.

He squeezed his way in, grabbed Shen Yao's hand, and said, "You're not allowed to leave until you explain yourself!"

Shen Yao was replying to Huangfu Hao's messages with her head down when Gu Tianyou suddenly grabbed her hand, startling her. She reflexively retreated to the far corner of the elevator.

"Gu Tianyou, are you crazy?!"

Still shaken, Shen Yao couldn't help but curse at him.

Ignoring the scolding Shen Yao was giving him, Gu Tianyou grabbed her hand, pressed the elevator button, and tried to drag her out.

"You come back with me."

Would Shen Yao obediently listen to her?

She used both hands to break free from Gu Tianyou and also put force into her feet.

And so, as they struggled, the elevator doors slowly closed.

As the elevator doors closed, Gu Tianyou pounded on them forcefully.

Shen Yao broke free from Gu Tianyou's grasp and said angrily, "Mr. Gu, didn't I make myself clear enough before? We're divorced, we need to have boundaries! What do you mean by pulling and tugging at me now?"

Gu Tianyou's reasons were more convincing than Shen Yao's.

"You've injured me, do you think you can just leave like this?"

"I didn't say I wouldn't take responsibility for you! I'll come over and take care of you after class tomorrow!"

"Then why were you in such a hurry to leave?"

"Leave me alone?"

Faced with Gu Tianyou's unreasonable rebukes and his repeated excessive interference in her life, Shen Yao's patience was running out.

As Shen Yao's expression grew increasingly impatient, Gu Tianyou became more and more easily angered.

However, over the years, his pride as a chosen one of heaven has also given his anger a domineering quality that Shen Yao finds repulsive.
