Me at two years old, a queen!

Looking at their house, a square courtyard with tiled roofs and a large tree in the yard, An'an couldn't wait to go out and play after showing her brother around the four rooms on the east and west sides.

Seeing this, the old man had no choice but to let Junmin accompany them for a walk while Aunt Liu and the others tidied up the house. This was a nice little courtyard they found after landing; it had been used as a guesthouse by someone else before.

Seeing that the child was curious and liked the house, they decided to buy it and let the child experience it. Everyone, including Lu Junxing, rolled up their sleeves and started packing.

The old man of the Lu family maintained his military habits very well, but times have changed. Now, all that's required is for everyone in the family to contribute during holidays and festivals to ensure they have enough to eat and wear. So, the family works together in a tacit understanding.

An'an pulled her brother around, looking at everything. She swung her little hands as she watched the children in the neighboring yard jump rope, feeling a little itchy to join in, but also a little shy. She poked her brother's arm.

Junmin saw her son take a step to the left, and An'an poked him. She chuckled softly, then looked at her son's accusing eyes, which he had nowhere to hide from.

She then stepped forward and encouraged An'an to ask him herself if her brother didn't like playing jump rope.

An'an then glanced at Qin Yanzhou with regret before stepping forward to ask if she could join them.

"No, little sister, you're too short. Even if you flew, you wouldn't be as high as the rope."

Having received the answer, An'an glanced dejectedly at the rope tied around her sister's waist; it was indeed taller than her brother. She then listlessly walked away.

"An'an~, it's okay, you'll grow taller!"

Hearing her brother's comforting words, An'an's mood didn't improve much. Why was she so short?

"Oh my, little sister, you can jump low too!"

A young woman who had been eliminated overheard this and offered advice, gesturing to the confused girl to indicate the height: "Thread the rope around your calves, and... just this high."

An'an glanced at the height of the marker compared to her calves, her face immediately lighting up with joy and hope as she looked at her. Then she heard...

"But we don't like playing with toys that are so short, it's no fun. Go play with the kids instead."

The rest were tourists, and they all went to the beach.

When Lu Junxing went to find someone to go back for dinner, An'an still didn't want to leave and insisted on dragging the two children back with her! The man was so angry that he simply carried them back. Seeing this, Junmin quickly left with Yanzhou.

Fortunately, Ms. Song was worried that the sudden change in climate might upset her child, so she dressed him in a sweatshirt and jeans to prevent any accidental exposure.

On the way, Lu Jing encountered him returning from buying takeout food, but his hands were full and he couldn't approach him, so he angrily cursed Lu Junxing.

"Don't you act like a father at all? Carrying the child like that, how uncomfortable must the child be?"

When An'an realized her grandfather couldn't save her, she stopped shouting, "Grandpa, help!" She was exhausted, and was carried back home.

When Qin Yanzhou returned, he took his grandmother's hand and asked her to save his younger sister. He was afraid that his uncle would hit his sister, and he was especially frightened by his uncle's dark face.

Seeing the two adults and one child returning in a lively manner, Ms. Song Yuan gestured to Yanzhou not to worry, and everyone set up a table in the yard to eat.

After finishing her meal, An'an asked Aunt Liu for a rope. In the end, Aunt Liu took out the yarn she was originally going to use to knit a sweater for the old man and tied it for her: "Then I'll knit a sweater for Uncle Liu when I come back from playing~"

An'an calls them that because her family does. Uncle Liu and Aunt Liu have taken care of the Lu family for many years. Originally, everyone at home called them Uncle and Aunt because of Lu Junxing and Lu Junmin, but An'an couldn't get used to it no matter how many times she tried to change, so that's how it is now.

After her brother refused to play with her no matter what he said, An'an took a rope and went to the people resting and drinking tea in the courtyard. Without saying a word, she lifted her grandfather's foot and strangled him. Lu Jing was happy to cooperate.

Holding the other end of the rope, she tiptoed to the base of the tree. A man lay in a recliner, his eyes half-closed. An'an wasn't sure if he was asleep, but she secretly lifted his foot and pulled it into the rope.

Lu Junxing opened his eyes and was about to speak when he felt threatening glances from the others around him. The man sighed helplessly and silently cooperated.

And so, while the man was "asleep," An'an got her fill of jumping rope. She refused to take a nap even when Ms. Song Yuan came to call her. Qin Yanzhou threatened her, "Why don't you run? Daddy's about to wake up!"

Since it was the first time the family had celebrated the Lunar New Year together, the old man planned to have a good time, so he asked Lu Junxing and Lu Junmin to take the two children out to go shopping.

Lu Jing and Uncle Liu went out to the beach to check out the local seafood and took the old man sea fishing as well. Meanwhile, Ms. Song Yuan and Aunt Liu went to learn how to make some local pastries.

This is a tourist destination, so even though it's a small town, the shops and supermarkets are quite lively.
