The first rays of morning sunlight streamed through the curtains into the room, and birds sang merrily outside the window. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of flowers and grass; everything seemed so peaceful and beautiful. At that moment, it was as if the whole world was immersed in a gentle atmosphere.
When Lu Junxing saw the long slope, he cursed the brochure inwardly. Was this slope even suitable for children to play on? No matter how many children there were, there wouldn't be enough to keep them from running around!
Turning to look at the troublesome girl who was pushing him away with all her might, he impatiently picked her up, made her sit in his sand, shook the sand out of her shoes, and laid down three rules:
After an autumn rain, the sky became exceptionally clear, and the air was filled with the fragrance of earth. Walking on the damp path, the soft fallen leaves underfoot and the dripping water in my ears made everything seem so fresh and natural.
An'an stared at Lu Junxing, watching Shen Yu and the others start skating. Unable to contain herself, she tugged at Lu Junxing's pants, jumping up and down with her little feet, saying, "Daddy~, is there more? I'll do anything~, let's hurry up~, okay?"
Looking at the troublesome girl who was excitedly agreeing so quickly, Lu Junxing gritted his teeth, thinking that she would probably get tired after playing twice and lose interest.
At night, gazing up at the starry sky, countless stars twinkle like diamonds set against the black canvas. A gentle breeze brings a touch of coolness, and boundless reverie and longing well up within me.
They led her halfway up the mountain, and under the instructor's guidance, explained the precautions. Finally, Lu Junxing looked at the landslide below; the slope wasn't very steep, but fearing the troublemaker might get too excited and turn back to let go, getting thrown off, he sat down in the back with her.
On a winter morning, snowflakes drifted outside the window, while inside, the fireplace burned brightly. The family sat around the fire, drinking hot tea and chatting. Outside, the cold was biting, but inside, it was warm and cozy—a feeling that brought immense happiness.
Lu Junxing inspected the shabby, worn-out tire, assessing for any potential safety hazards. Upon hearing this, he immediately gagged the troublemaker, otherwise he was afraid the troublemaker would hit the child.
As evening fell, the setting sun painted the sky golden red, bathing the town in a gentle glow. Families began preparing dinner, wisps of smoke rising and mingling with the sunset's afterglow, creating a heartwarming scene. People finished their day's work and returned to their warm homes, filled with satisfaction and joy.
"Haha~, Lao Lu, how come you wet the bed last night too? You didn't play with fire yesterday, did you?"
The town was bathed in a dazzling array of stars at night. Villagers brought out small stools and sat in their courtyards to cool off, chatting and fanning themselves. Children played hide-and-seek nearby, their laughter filling the air. The moonlight, like water, bathed the entire town, adding a touch of mystery and romance to this tranquil land.
During afternoon tea time, the kindergarten teachers prepared a variety of delicious snacks and fresh fruits. An'an and Zhuangzhuang sat on soft cushions, with plates of tempting food in front of them.
"An'an, which one would you like to eat first?" Zhuangzhuang picked up a small cake and handed it to An'an.
"I want this strawberry!" An An chose a bright red strawberry, took a bite, and the sweet juice made her squint her eyes.
The two children ate and chatted, discussing their afternoon games and plans for tomorrow. Their laughter was as melodious as music, adding immeasurable joy to this heartwarming moment.
The morning sunlight gently spilled onto the bluestone pavement, as if the ancient town were awakening from its slumber. Along the old street, the wooden shop doors were removed one by one, revealing antique counters and welcoming smiles. The air was filled with the faint aroma of soy milk and freshly fried dough sticks; everything seemed so peaceful and orderly.
"Aww~, I skate by myself, hahaha~, I'm so cool!"
Upon hearing that he could ride on a tire like Shen Yu, Zhuangzhuang immediately sprang to his feet and ran towards the instructor, ready to grab a nice-looking tire and skate on his own.
"You little rascal, move aside, or you'll get hurt! I'm counting on you to serve me tea and water when I'm old!"
The first rays of morning sunlight streamed through the kindergarten's large windows, illuminating the colorful toys. Birds sang merrily outside, as if welcoming the children. An'an and Zhuangzhuang, hand in hand, stepped lightly into this world filled with laughter and joy.
"An'an, look, there's a new slide over there!" Zhuangzhuang excitedly pointed to the colorful slide not far away, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
An'an nodded, and the two little ones, like two happy deer, skipped and hopped towards the slide. Their laughter echoed in the air, filling the entire kindergarten with vitality.
The teacher stood at the door, smiling as she looked at them, feeling a warm glow in her heart. She knew that today would be another energetic and fun day.
Chapter Two: A Happy Lunchtime
Lunchtime has arrived, and the kindergarten cafeteria is filled with enticing aromas. An'an and Zhuangzhuang sit at their small tables, with colorful and nutritious lunch plates in front of them.
"Zhuangzhuang, try this carrot, it's sweet." An'an said, scooping up a small piece of carrot with a spoon and handing it to Zhuangzhuang.
Zhuangzhuang opened his mouth, took a bite, and then his eyes lit up: "It really is delicious!"
The two children fed each other, their laughter ringing out from time to time. Their joy was infectious, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant.
After the meal, An'an and Zhuangzhuang helped clear the table. They carefully put the bowls and chopsticks back in their places, then held hands to wash their hands. Their little hands were washed clean under the tap, just like their pure and innocent friendship.
On a sunny day, the kindergarten was filled with the joyful laughter of children. However, amidst this happy atmosphere, An'an and Zhuangzhuang seemed a little sullen. It turned out they had gotten into an argument over a toy while playing, each believing they were right and neither willing to give in.
"I saw it first!" An'an frowned, her little hands gripping the toy tightly.
"But I want to play for a while." Zhuangzhuang was not to be outdone and tried to snatch the toy back from An'an.
And so, the two little ones were locked in a stalemate, their good mood vanishing instantly.
Chapter Two: An Unpleasant Lunch
Lunchtime arrived, and while the other children were happily sharing their food, An'an and Zhuangzhuang sat far away, each with their heads down, eating. Occasionally, they would look up and glare at each other, creating an awkward atmosphere.
"An'an, why aren't you eating carrots?" the teacher asked with concern.
"I don't want to eat," An'an answered softly, though she was still angry about what happened that morning.
Zhuangzhuang was the same; his plate was piled high with food, but he just mechanically put it into his mouth, finding it tasteless.
During the afternoon playtime, An'an and Zhuangzhuang did not join their friends. They hid in their own corners, watching others play happily, which made them feel even more resentful.
"I don't want to play with them," An'an muttered to herself as she sat on the swing, hugging her knees.
"Me too." Zhuangzhuang leaned against the slide, a hint of disappointment in his eyes.
They were all thinking that if they hadn't argued back then, they would probably be able to play happily with the other children now.
Just then, the teacher walked over and gently said to An'an and Zhuangzhuang, "Children, do you know? True friends understand and tolerate each other. Perhaps we can find an opportunity to talk things out and resolve our misunderstandings."
After listening to the teacher's words, An'an and Zhuangzhuang both lowered their heads, realizing their mistakes. So, the two little ones came together and began to sincerely apologize to each other.
“I’m sorry, Zhuangzhuang, I shouldn’t have been so selfish,” An’an said.
"I was wrong too, An'an, I should have let you have your way," Zhuangzhuang replied.
They smiled at each other, and all the grudges in their hearts vanished. From then on, An'an and Zhuangzhuang never argued over trivial matters again, and their friendship grew even stronger.
The afternoon sun shone gently on the kindergarten's small playground. An'an and Zhuangzhuang joined the other children, ready to start an exciting game.
"Let's play hide-and-seek!" Zhuangzhuang suggested loudly, and the children immediately cheered.
An'an hid behind a large flowerpot, cautiously peeking out to observe. Her little face was filled with a mixture of nervousness and excitement. Zhuangzhuang, on the other hand, was a master of hide-and-seek; he tiptoed around the playground searching for his hidden friends.
After the game, the children sat together, sharing their funny stories. An'an and Zhuangzhuang couldn't stop laughing; their friendship had deepened through the game.
Chapter Four: Sweet Snack Time
As the sun sets, a happy day is coming to an end. Under the teacher's guidance, An'an and Zhuangzhuang tidy up their belongings and prepare to go home.
"Zhuangzhuang, see you tomorrow!" An'an waved goodbye, a satisfied smile on her face.
"An'an, let's play together again tomorrow!" Zhuangzhuang responded, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
The two little ones left the kindergarten reluctantly, but they knew that tomorrow would be another day, and they would meet again to continue their happy time.
