Chapter Two: A Happy Lunchtime

Lunchtime has arrived, and the kindergarten cafeteria is filled with enticing aromas. An'an and Zhuangzhuang sit at their small tables, with colorful and nutritious lunch plates in front of them.

"Zhuangzhuang, try this carrot, it's sweet." An'an said, scooping up a small piece of carrot with a spoon and handing it to Zhuangzhuang.

Zhuangzhuang opened his mouth, took a bite, and then his eyes lit up: "It really is delicious!"

The two children fed each other, their laughter ringing out from time to time. Their joy was infectious, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant.

After the meal, An'an and Zhuangzhuang helped clear the table. They carefully put the bowls and chopsticks back in their places, then held hands to wash their hands. Their little hands were washed clean under the tap, just like their pure and innocent friendship.

On a sunny day, the kindergarten was filled with the joyful laughter of children. However, amidst this happy atmosphere, An'an and Zhuangzhuang seemed a little sullen. It turned out they had gotten into an argument over a toy while playing, each believing they were right and neither willing to give in.

"I saw it first!" An'an frowned, her little hands gripping the toy tightly.

"But I want to play for a while." Zhuangzhuang was not to be outdone and tried to snatch the toy back from An'an.

And so, the two little ones were locked in a stalemate, their good mood vanishing instantly.

Chapter Two: An Unpleasant Lunch

Lunchtime arrived, and while the other children were happily sharing their food, An'an and Zhuangzhuang sat far away, each with their heads down, eating. Occasionally, they would look up and glare at each other, creating an awkward atmosphere.

"An'an, why aren't you eating carrots?" the teacher asked with concern.

"I don't want to eat," An'an answered softly, though she was still angry about what happened that morning.

Zhuangzhuang was the same; his plate was piled high with food, but he just mechanically put it into his mouth, finding it tasteless.

During the afternoon playtime, An'an and Zhuangzhuang did not join their friends. They hid in their own corners, watching others play happily, which made them feel even more resentful.

"I don't want to play with them," An'an muttered to herself as she sat on the swing, hugging her knees.

"Me too." Zhuangzhuang leaned against the slide, a hint of disappointment in his eyes.

They were all thinking that if they hadn't argued back then, they would probably be able to play happily with the other children now.

Just then, the teacher walked over and gently said to An'an and Zhuangzhuang, "Children, do you know? True friends understand and tolerate each other. Perhaps we can find an opportunity to talk things out and resolve our misunderstandings."

After listening to the teacher's words, An'an and Zhuangzhuang both lowered their heads, realizing their mistakes. So, the two little ones came together and began to sincerely apologize to each other.

After the game, the children sat together, sharing their funny stories. An'an and Zhuangzhuang couldn't stop laughing; their friendship had deepened through the game.

Chapter Four: Sweet Snack Time

As the sun sets, a happy day is coming to an end. Under the teacher's guidance, An'an and Zhuangzhuang tidy up their belongings and prepare to go home.

"Zhuangzhuang, see you tomorrow!" An'an waved goodbye, a satisfied smile on her face.

"An'an, let's play together again tomorrow!" Zhuangzhuang responded, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.

The two little ones left the kindergarten reluctantly, but they knew that tomorrow would be another day, and they would meet again to continue their happy time.
