At 3:45 PM, the academy dismissed its students.

As Song Siyao walked out of the classroom and prepared to leave the academy, she saw the academy supervisor walking towards her.

The academy supervisor said, "Mr. Song, the academy is holding a lecture today, and all the teachers must attend."

"When does the lecture start?" Song Si asked. She knew Shen Pei was probably already waiting for her outside the academy, and she had to go and tell him.

The abbot said, "It has already begun, Mr. Song, please proceed."

Song Siyao is now a teacher at the academy. Even if she were a princess, she would still have to abide by the academy's rules and regulations.

This is why the abbot calls her Mr. Song, instead of Princess Youfeng.

"Supervisor, could you please go to the academy gate and tell Prince Ling that I'll be a little late today?" Song Siyao said.

She couldn't go and tell Shen Pei herself; it would take too much time for them to go back and forth.

The abbot readily agreed, "Sure, Mr. Song. The lecture will be at Junlan Courtyard; can you find it?"

"I can find it. Thank you for your help, Supervisor." Song Siyao said goodbye to the Supervisor and went to Junlan Courtyard.

Upon arriving at Junlan Courtyard, even before reaching the entrance, Song Siyao heard a woman's voice coming from inside the main hall.

His voice was firm, carrying an air of cold arrogance, and every word he uttered exuded composure.

Just by listening to her voice, one could sense that the speaker was a cool, composed, and talented woman.

Song Siyao stepped forward and saw a purple figure, which was Jiang Yu.

Jiang Yu is the daughter of Jiang Xiang and also a teacher at the academy.

He had been traveling and lecturing for a long time, visiting all the academies, big and small, in the Great Zhou Dynasty, and was well-known throughout the Great Zhou.

She was holding a book and was intently explaining its contents to everyone.

"Gentlemen, what you are holding now is the version I have corrected. Zishan does not produce cassava. The person who compiled this book was not rigorous. When you teach this to your students, you must keep this in mind, lest you make a fool of yourselves and be said to be incompetent, not even knowing this basic common sense, thus misleading your students."

Jiang Yu's tone was sharp, and her brows furrowed slightly, indicating a hint of anger.

None of the other men refuted her, and they were used to her way of speaking, as if she were their boss.

Just then, Mr. Luo, who was sitting by the door, noticed Song Siyao and quickly greeted her, "Mr. Song, come in quickly and sit next to me."

"Don't speak!"

Mr. Luo had barely finished speaking when Jiang Yu's voice rang out, tinged with anger, "Do you usually allow students to talk when you're lecturing on stage? Mr. Luo, you're supposed to be teaching etiquette, where is your etiquette?"

Mr. Luo stuck out his tongue at Song Siyao and mouthed to her silently, "That's just how she is, don't overthink it."

Seeing that Mr. Luo was still whispering with Song Siyao, Jiang Yu became even angrier.

Her gaze fell on Song Siyao, and her tone was cold and sharp, "Mr. Song, you are late."

Before Song Siyao could even sit down, she met Jiang Yu's gaze. "Mr. Jiang, when was the decision made for today's lecture?"

"It was a last-minute decision," Jiang Yu said candidly.

Song Siyao pressed further, "How long is 'temporary'?"

“An hour ago.” Jiang Yu raised an eyebrow. “Mr. Song, is that your excuse for being late?”

"When does the lecture start?" Song Si asked calmly.

“One quarter past Shen time.” Jiang Yu’s expression was displeased.

"I didn't finish my lecture until 3:45 PM, and I only received the notification after class," Song Siyao said calmly.

From 3:45 PM until now, everyone knows that she came over as soon as class ended, without any delay.

Jiang Yu spoke in a serious tone, adopting the air of a patriarch, and looked directly at Song Siyao, "Mr. Song, are you implying that I'm deliberately making things difficult for you?"

"Why did I only receive the notification at 3:45 PM, when the decision was made an hour ago? Who was responsible for delivering the message?" Song Siyao asked firmly.

Instead of answering directly, Jiang Yu changed the subject, "Mr. Song, we all know that you are of noble status and have made great contributions. You cannot bear the slightest grievance. However, with so many teachers in the academy, it is normal for the people responsible for disseminating information to be overwhelmed and make mistakes. Are you going to hold a grudge against them for their errors?"

"Didn't you start this whole thing?" Song Siyao retorted.

Jiang Yu stared intently at Song Siyao, without uttering a single word.

The dozens of people inside the hall were so quiet that they could hear each other breathing.

The entire hall was shrouded in a suffocating atmosphere. On one side was Jiang Yu, the mountain that had always weighed on their heads, and on the other side was Song Siyao, the rising princess. They couldn't afford to offend either of them, so they could only stay put, suppress their anger, and shrink back, trying not to offend either of them.

Jiang Yu was unleashing her aura, attempting to intimidate Song Siyao with her imposing presence.

She was very good at using this method, and it never failed her; as long as she didn't speak, no one dared to speak.

However, all her tricks were useless against Song Siyao.

Song Siyao said, "Mr. Jiang, you not only keep targeting the living, but you also don't let go of the dead."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Yu's anger flared instantly. "Mr. Song, please watch your words! I hope you will rephrase your statement! Slandering someone's character is not the moral quality expected of someone who is dedicated to educating and nurturing students!"

Her words were righteous and stern, strongly condemning Song Siyao and accusing her of being a bad person.

To cultivate virtue, one must first cultivate oneself; to educate others, one must first educate oneself.

If a person's own moral character is flawed, how can they be qualified to teach others?

As her voice fell, everyone's eyes fell on Song Siyao.

Jiang Yu was a talented woman in the academy and even in the entire Great Zhou Dynasty. Before this, as long as she was willing to debate, no one could beat her.

How should Song Siyao respond?

“Mr. Jiang, what you’re holding is the Zixian County Annals, compiled by Mr. Tan Qiyun. Mr. Tan Qiyun passed away four years ago.” Song Siyao’s expression was cold and sharp.

Jiang Yu's expression changed slightly; she hadn't expected Tan Qiyun to have passed away.

However, her complexion returned to normal in an instant.

“I’m addressing the issue, not the person. Even though Mr. Tan Qiyun has passed away, if there are problems with the book he edited, can’t I point them out?”

“There’s nothing wrong with the book edited by Mr. Tan,” Song Siyao said, emphasizing her words.

Jiang Yu looked at Song Siyao as if she were a joke. She laughed angrily, "Mr. Song, you were the top scorer in last year's academy entrance exam. Don't you even have such basic common sense?"

After her sarcastic remark, she feigned tolerance and understanding, saying, "It's not your fault. After all, you've never been to Zishan and don't know the local situation. You only know about it through books written by others, which is like talking on paper—it's all empty talk."

"Jiang Yu, you are the one who is truly misleading and corrupting young people!"

Song Siyao spoke coldly, taking the book from Mr. Luo beside her and loudly proclaiming to everyone, "When Mr. Tan was compiling this book..."
