There were still quite a few external cultivators at Dayan Temple. Su Yun could see that people from many different forces were there, and he guessed that they all wanted to obtain their own opportunities here.

Among them were quite a few independent cultivators.

Su Yun and Liu Xiuyong arrived at the registration area for external cultivators.

Both of them were cultivators at the fourth or fifth level of the Qi Sea realm, so they were entitled to good treatment and had a fairly decent living environment by themselves.

"Fellow Daoist, your room has been prepared. Please follow me."

The monk who received Su Yun was a cultivator at the third level of the Qi Sea stage. He was relatively young and showed great respect to Su Yun.

He was a member of the banquet before, and he had seen Su Yun there. Because Su Yun had obtained the White Jade Bodhi Root, he had a deep impression of him.

Su Yun and Liu Xiuyong's rooms were not far apart, just next door.

This is the residential area for external personnel of Dayan Temple.

The two lived in a room located in the inner part of the house, in a beautiful environment with complete facilities and a private courtyard.

The monk who had led the way smiled at the two and asked, "Are you two satisfied?"

Liu Xiuyong said, "That's right."

Su Yun was naturally very satisfied.

And so, the two of them settled down.

Not just anyone can live here, but given the two of them, they certainly can, so there's no need to worry about not having a place to stay.

Su Yun followed the young monk to his courtyard and tidied up.

After settling in, the young monk said, "If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave now."

"If needed, you can find me outside."

After hearing this, Su Yun said, "Little monk, do you know if the abbot is in the temple? I would like to see him to discuss something. Is that alright?"

The young monk was slightly taken aback upon hearing this, then put his hands together and said, "Fellow Daoist, I am not yet in contact with the abbot, nor am I by his side."

"At this stage, I am mainly responsible for receiving cultivators like you who are at the fourth or fifth level of the Qi Sea realm."

"So that's it."

Su Yun suddenly realized.

The young monk continued, "My Dharma name is Kongyuan. If you wish to see the abbot, you can go to the Chanxin Pavilion to find Brother Lawyer Kong."

“Brother Lawyer Kong is working alongside Abbot Daozhen and is in charge of some matters. If you look for him, you can get an audience with Abbot Daozhen.”

"Okay, thank you, Master Kongyuan."

Su Yun cupped his hands in greeting.

After Kong Yuan left, Su Yun settled down and packed his things.

Immediately afterwards, he left the residential area alone and headed towards the Zen Heart Pavilion.

He arrived here as instructed.

Zen Heart Pavilion, located next to the Mahavira Hall, is a small pavilion where monks usually meditate and seek enlightenment. Konglu is the manager of Zen Heart Pavilion.

Standing at the door, Su Yun saw dozens of monks inside the room, meditating and chanting scriptures, trying to understand Buddhist teachings.

He glanced up and saw a familiar figure at the head of the table.

This person was the monk who had followed Abbot Daozhen back then. He was about thirty years old and had reached the sixth level of the Qi Sea realm.

He is Kong Lu.

When Kong Lu saw Su Yun standing at the door, he was slightly taken aback, but then immediately recognized Su Yun.

He got up and walked out of the pavilion, bowing to Su Yun.

"Could it be Fellow Daoist Su from the Tianyang Sect?"

He remembered Su Yun and asked her.

Su Yun nodded and said, "That's right, Master Kong, it is I."

Kong Lu smiled and said, "Fellow Daoist Su, it has been some time since we last met."

"The Bodhi Festival is still a few days away from starting. May I ask who you are here for?"

Su Yun said directly and truthfully, "I have some things I want to discuss with Abbot Daozhen."

"I wonder if Abbot Daozhen has time to meet with me?"

Although Abbot Daozhen was a kind person, he was, after all, the abbot of Dayan Temple and managed the entire temple.

With the Bodhi Festival approaching, he should be very busy and may not have time to see him immediately.
