When I arrived at the cafeteria, there were only a few people left. Some cafeteria ladies were cleaning up the cooking utensils and empty plates.

Xu Su sat down following Chen Huiyu's pull. She had come to her senses by now, her eyes red with anger. Before she could say anything, the teacher came in.

This was Mr. Wu's math class. When he came in carrying two huge stacks of test papers, the students didn't groan at all; instead, some were even eager to try.

Instead, Xu Su suddenly remembered that Teacher Wu had told her yesterday that as the class representative, she should go and get the test papers for the teacher during the break today.

As Teacher Wu distributed the test papers to the students in the first row in groups, she said, "This is not a quiz. Each of you will receive four papers. Pass them on to the back of the class and do them when you have time after class. If you don't understand something, help each other out. If you really can't figure it out, then come and ask me."

"Let me tell you, the midterm exams are just around the corner, and the test points are basically on these few papers. The meat is being served to you, so you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't take it!"

A rustling sound filled the classroom, and soon everyone had received their four test papers.

Xu Su glanced at the papers and saw that the questions on them were carefully selected by Teacher Wu. She knew the solutions to most of them, and at least she had a thorough understanding of the current level of math knowledge.

Having gained a better understanding of her own abilities, Xu Su felt quite confident. All her hard work had paid off; she did have some talent for studying.
