The socially awkward villain's furry superpower

Chapter 51 The Night of the Owl Ride

Athena initially thought she wouldn't like those motorcycles.

They are enormous, deafeningly noisy, and emit an unpleasant odor.

However, the friendly riders gave her a cool leather jacket and a helmet that wasn't very cool and was a bit too big for her.

Then they made her sit behind a burly, intimidating-looking woman riding a large Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

As a result, after holding on tightly for several minutes with bated breath,

She gradually got used to the sound of a dozen or so motorcycles roaring along the road together.

She quickly smiled and stretched out her arms like a bird spreading its wings to feel the wind.

The ride ended too quickly, and the team stopped near the dormitory.

"We've arrived, little one."

"That's what the woman who owned the motorcycle Athena was riding said."

Athena jumped out of the car, carefully avoiding the scorching hot parts.

A bearded rider had told her that she might get burned if she touched it.

"Thank you," she said as she took off her helmet.

The woman took the helmet and then ruffled Athena's hair.

"Are you alright, little girl?"

Athena nodded. "I'll be alright. Thank you."

After saying goodbye a few more times and being patted on the back several times, Athena left and headed home.

She was somewhat hoping that her older sister Sienna hadn't returned yet, because if she had, Athena might be in trouble.

However, it shouldn't cause too much trouble.

The eldest sister, Sienna, is the best, and she doesn't punish her sisters too harshly when they're just trying to play the most evil villains.

She arrived at the dormitory and, seeing someone about to enter, seized the opportunity to act.

When the young man saw her grabbing the door and trying to open it, he glanced at her, seemingly about to protest.

So she used her superpowers to attack him, and then slipped inside when he looked up and seemed to see something in the darkness.

Athena fiddled with the zipper on her jacket as she went up to the fifth floor, then headed straight for her older sister Sienna's room.

As soon as she entered the house, she immediately sensed that something was wrong.

There was no sign of the eldest sister in the house, and even the annoying Teddy was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, a strange man stood there with his back to the door.

Athena casually closed the door behind her, narrowing her eyes at the same time.

If the older sister was waiting for someone, she would definitely tell her, so this man, this man has a problem.

“Hey,” Athena said.

She unleashed her superpowers, cautiously channeling tiny amounts of energy into the room.

The man turned to look at her. "Oh, uh, hey," he said, his voice filled with remorse.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Athena asked. This was a good opportunity to test her newly gained confidence.

All she had to do was remember the tricks her rider friends had taught her.

“Uh, well, I’m Sienna’s friend,” he tried to explain.

Athena scoffed. Even Teddy could lie better than him.

She puffed out her chest, raised her hand to her chin, striking a menacing pose. "I don't believe you," she said.

The man blinked blankly, clearly startled by Athena's imposing presence.

"Uh, okay. Listen, I'm sorry I just walked in, but the door wasn't even locked."

Athena secretly made a mental note that she must never tell Sienna about this.

"Who are you?" she asked again.

"I can ask you the same question, you're not that bear girl."

So, he knows Teddy. That's not a big deal.

“I am Sienna’s strongest younger sister,” Athena said.

Strictly speaking, given that she is the only younger sister in the room at this moment, she is the strongest in every sense.

But that doesn't matter anymore.

Athena began to exert even more pressure using her superpowers.

The changes are not very obvious, but they do exist.

He shifted his body slightly, glanced at the door behind her, and then nervously rubbed the side of his neck.

“So, uh, do you know when Sienna will be back?” he asked.

Athena narrowed her eyes. "Tell me who you are first."

“Listen, little girl, I don’t know you, and to be honest, I don’t trust you, understand? I just… I just want to talk to Sienna for a bit.”

Athena sighed. "I understand." She lied.

She used her superpowers to put further pressure on them, saying, "Big sister should be back soon. Would you like something to drink or eat?"

She used her superpowers to surround him, making him suspicious of any food placed in the house.

Then, as he hesitated and took a small step toward the door, she used her superpowers to lock it, making him feel as if something very, very scary was hidden behind it.

“Uh,” he said. “I should, um…”

"Sit down," Athena said. She changed her posture again, hoping it would have some effect.

"Come on, it's safe inside. But you probably won't want to go out."

"What? Why?"

She shrugged casually, "It's a dangerous place outside. There are scary people everywhere."

Athena gave a predator-like smile. "There are many dangerous things."

The man started sweating.

“That’s how I figured everything out,” Athena said.

She tried hard not to let pride show in her voice, but she did a fantastic job.

And she knew Sienna would be proud of it, so it was difficult to do.

The strange man, who claimed to be both Jacob and Aleya Iakta, was still sitting on the ground.

However, he had already moved to the wall and curled his knees up to his chest.

As soon as her older sister Sienna told her to stop, she immediately stopped using her superpowers on him; she was just that obedient.

“So,” Sienna said. “you left the dorm to help us, then ran into some motorcycle gang… somehow joined them, then came back here and did… that kind of thing to Aleya?”

Athena nodded. "Yes, that's about right."

Sienna took a deep breath. "Okay," she said.

"Did I do a good job?" Athena asked.

"You... uh, of course."

Athena beamed. "If you want to interrogate him, I've already made him completely submissive."

If only Teddy could help with the interrogation, but the bear-man is currently wrapped in a pile of blankets next to Sienna's bed.

The only thing I could do to help was to create some background noise with her deafening snoring.

Sienna walked to her chair, turned it around so that she was facing the strange man, and then sat down.

“Okay,” Sienna said.

To confirm, she repeated herself. "Okay, Jacob, can you tell me why you came here?"

The man nodded. "I..." His eyes darted around anxiously and nervously.

“I met some people. They contacted me and said they knew what I was doing. They said they could help me. But, but they sounded very suspicious.”

"Go on."

"I used some of my superpowers, flipping a coin a few times to do some divination. And then... they were bad guys, really bad. And they knew a lot about me."

“Who are they?” Sienna asked. “Do you know their names or anything else? How did they contact you, and why are you here?”

“It’s safe here,” he said. “I looked around and found this place. I heard people talking about you, so I followed them for a while.”

It was just good luck. But now I'm down on my luck. After finding this room and coming in, my luck ran out.

"Isn't the door locked?" Sienna asked.

Athena tensed slightly, then nodded. "It must be his superpowers at work," she said.

"Ah."

"I need... I don't know either. They might be everywhere. They might be eavesdropping right now."

I need more good luck, and I need more security.

"Who are they?" Sienna asked again.

"That's a cabal. They call themselves a cabal."
